Abstract

Audio visual merupakan salah satu media yang digunakan dalam menunjang proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan media audio visual berbasis video interaktif untuk optimalisasi sikap kemandirian anak. Penggunaan jenis penelitian berupa penelitian kualitatif yang mengaplikasikan pendekatan deskriptif. Pengumpulan data oleh peneliti dengan mengaplikasikan: tehnik observasi, tehnik wawancara beserta dokumentasi. Kegiatan observasi pelaksanaannya terhadap aktivitas anak sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan audio visual yang berjumlah 10 anak,  fokus pada penelitian yakni pada 5 anak pada tahap “Belum Berkembang (BB)”. Dari hasil penelitian terlihat perubahan sikap pada anak yang awalnya masih enggan melakukan kegiatan secara mandiri setelah diterapkan pembelajaran menggunakan audio visual ,anak cenderung antusias serta termotivasi mengikuti pembelajaran, memudahkan anak memahami penyampaian materi pembiasaan kemandirian. Nilai kemandirian dapat diperoleh dari kegiatan pembiasaan yang diterapkan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari anak kelompok B seperti pembiasaan mencuci tangan, membereskan mainan setelah digunakan, menggunakan kaos kaki dan sepatu sendiri. Keberhasilan juga didukung peran orang tua dalam mengaplikasikan media audio visual kepada anak. Orang tua melatih dan mempraktekkan kepada anak sikap kemandirian yang sesuai dengan video interaktif sehingga anak anak lebih mudah mengaplikasikan nya dalam

Abstract

Selama ini pembelajaran membaca al-Qur’an di TPQ Jalaluddin sudah berjalan baik sesuai dengan petunjuk dan panduan yang terdapat di dalam buku metode qiroati itu sendiri. Namun jika ditinjau dari manajemen kelas (pengelolaan kelas) maka dapat dikemukakan bahwa pembelajaran al-Qur’an di TPQ tersebut adalah kurang kondusif dan efektif, terbukti masih adanya santri yang ramai, berbicara sendiri, kurang fokus dan tidak memperhatikan bahkan menggangu teman selama pembelajaran al-Qur’an berlangsung. Oleh karena itu, penulis tertarik untuk melaksanakan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masayarakat di TPQ Jalaluddin Dusun Diwet Kelurahan Pogar Kecamatan Bangil Kabupaten Pasuruan. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan pemahaman tentang peningkatan keterampilan guru mengelola kelas dalam pembelajaran al-Qur’an. Metode yang digunakan adalah mengumpulkan para guru TPQ Jalaluddin, kemudian diberikan penyuluhan tentang peningkatan keterampilan guru mengelola kelas dalam pembelajaran al-Qur’an.. Penyuluhan menggunakan metode ceramah, tanya jawab dan evaluasi. Tingkat pengetahuan responden dapat diketahui dengan dilakukan pre test sebelum kegiatan dan post tes sesudah kegiatan. Hasil kegiatan ini adalah adanya peningkatan pengetahuan dan pemahaman tentang peningkatan keterampilan guru mengelola kelas dalam pembelajaran al-Qur’an. Hasil luaran dari kegiatan ini adalah laporan yang akan dipublikasikan di jurnal nasional atau prosiding nasional, hak kekayaan intelektual, video kegiatan (youtube), dan media massa online atau offline, dan peningkatan pengetahuan dan pemahaman responden serta perubahan perilaku.

Abstract

It is very challenging for a teacher to teach students with special needs, for example those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), so that they can learn and get a proper education. ASD students have poor communication and interaction skills. This can be a problem for teachers in the teaching process because their mastery in teaching English strategies to ASD students is low. Teaching ASD students is different from teaching other students in general because English teachers must have special guidelines for teaching strategies. The solution to help is to equip them with the right teaching strategies. Teaching strategies are the structures, systems, methods, techniques, procedures, and processes that teachers use during teaching as a way to help students learn better. There are five teaching strategies for ASD students by applying: 1. Total Physical Response (TPR), 2. Contextual Teaching Learning (CTL) approach, 3. Image media with play techniques, 4. RPP according to the needs of ASD students, 5. Video Recording Method Interactive. The socialization of community service was oriented to focus on strategies for teaching English for ASD students to English teachers at the Musyawarah Kerja Kepala Sekolah (MKKS) Private Junior High School association in the North Surabaya region. The target participants for this activity were 40 junior high school teachers from various schools who are members of the association, but in fact there were 97 people who attended this seminar. This study aimed to determine teachers' perceptions in teaching English language strategies to students with ASD. This study used qualitative research methods by describing the results of teachers' perceptions obtained from interview with them. The findings of this study indicated that teachers' perceptions were positive regarding this matter. The data collection method was carried out by interviewing five English teachers randomly. Data analysis was carried out by describing the data from the interviews. The results indicated that the English teacher's perception of this community service activity was positive to increase English teachers' mastery in teaching English language strategies to ASD students so that they can teach with appropriate teaching strategies.

Abstract

Hypercholesterolemia is a growing health problem, including among adolescents in Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) where diets are high in fat and low in fiber, and physical activity is limited. This condition carries a risk of developing cardiovascular disease, necessitating preventive interventions tailored to the characteristics of the Islamic boarding school community. This Community Service (PkM) activity aims to increase students' knowledge and awareness of high cholesterol prevention through healthy lifestyle education and the use of bay leaves (Syzygium polyanthum) as an alternative herbal cholesterol-lowering agent. The program's innovation lies in integrating evidence-based health education with local wisdom, making it easily implemented in Islamic boarding schools. The activity was conducted at the Zainul Hasan Genggong Islamic Boarding School in Probolinggo in May 2025, involving 30 students and 14 religious teachers. The methods used included an initial survey, FGDs, interactive counseling with pre- and post-test evaluations, and free health checks, including anthropometry, blood pressure, and blood sugar measurements, medical consultations, and medication administration. The primary outcome was increased participant knowledge, measured by comparing pre-test and post-test scores and baseline health data from the examination. The results of the activity showed an average increase in participant knowledge of 23.4 points between the pre-test and post-test. Students also gained practical skills in using bay leaves as a daily ingredient beneficial for health.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penerapan Seven Habits of Great Indonesian Children terhadap minat belajar siswa serta terciptanya lingkungan belajar yang menyenangkan pada siswa SD. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pendekatan campuran (mixed-method) dengan desain quasi-experimental. Penelitian ini melibatkan siswa kelas III di salah satu sekolah dasar swasta di Jawa Timur.  Instrumen penelitian berupa kuesioner minat belajar, lembar observasi, wawancara terbuka, serta jurnal reflektif siswa. Hasil uji reliabilitas instrumen mengindikasikan instrumen yang cukup baik dan reliabel untuk mengukur konstruk minat belajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan  perilaku pembiasaan yang positif seperti bangun pagi, taat ibadah, gemar belajar, berolahraga, makan sehat, bermasyarakat, serta tidur tepat waktu berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap peningkatan minat belajar siswa. Selain itu, kebiasaan tersebut mampu menciptakan suasana belajar yang lebih kondusif, interaktif, dan menyenangkan saat berada di kelas. Penelitian ini juga menyarankan agar guru dan orang tua secara konsisten mengintegrasikan Seven Habits dan berkolaborasi dalam kehidupan sehari-hari anak untuk memperkuat serta mewujudkan budaya positif baik di sekolah maupun saat di rumah. Temuan ini memberikan kontribusi pada pengembangan intervensi karakter yang efektif di jenjang sekolah dasar.

Abstract

One of the major social issues currently faced in Indonesia, particularly in Pasuruan Regency, is intolerance. Educational institutions play a strategic role in instilling values of tolerance to reduce intolerant attitudes, especially from early childhood education. However, early childhood education institutions in Pasuruan Regency face challenges related to educators’ limited understanding of how to foster tolerant attitudes among young children. This community service activity aimed to enhance the knowledge and understanding of early childhood educators regarding the formation of tolerant attitudes in early childhood learners. The program was conducted over four months and involved early childhood educators in Pasuruan Regency, totalling 50 participants. The method employed was educational counseling delivered through lectures and question-and-answer sessions. Participants’ knowledge levels were measured using a pre-test questionnaire prior to the counseling session and a post-test afterward to assess knowledge improvement. The results indicated that only 10 participants (20%) demonstrated adequate knowledge in the pre-test, while post-test results showed a significant increase, with 40 participants (80%) demonstrating improved understanding. In conclusion, educational counseling activities for early childhood educators in Pasuruan Regency effectively increased their knowledge in fostering tolerant attitudes among early childhood learners.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of daily prayer habituation on the development of religious and moral values in children aged 4–5 years at TK Yamassa Surabaya. The background of this research is the increasing use of digital technology, which has led to a decline in social interaction and children's understanding of religious and moral values. Preliminary observations indicated that some children had not yet developed the ability to recite daily prayers properly due to inappropriate behavior. The research uses a quantitative approach with a one-group pretest-posttest pre-experimental design. The sampling technique used was saturated sampling. Data collection was conducted through observation and documentation. Data analysis included descriptive analysis, Normality Test, Homogeneity Test, and t-Test using IBM SPSS version 30. The results of the descriptive analysis showed an average pre-test score of 9.60 and a post-test score of 16.05. The normality test (Shapiro-Wilk) indicated that the data were normally distributed, with a pre-test value of 0.087 and a post-test value of 0.116. The homogeneity test showed that the data were homogeneous with a value of 0.175 > 0.05. The t-test showed a significance value of 0.001 < 0.05, which means there is a significant effect of daily prayer habituation. Based on these results, it can be concluded that daily prayer habituation has an effect on the development of religious and moral values in children aged 4–5 years at TK Yamassa Surabaya. It is suggested that educators, schools, and future researchers be more innovative in developing daily prayer habituation through various activities.

Abstract

Background: The most common dental and oral disease in children is dental caries. The high prevalence rate of caries, which reaches 81.5% in children aged 3-4 years, is still a problem for Indonesia. One of the causes of the high incidence of caries in preschool children is improper breastfeeding or formula-feeding patterns. This research aims to analyze the relationship between formula milk consumption and the severity of caries in preschool children at TK Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal 42 Semarang. Method: This study employs an observational-analytical design, specifically a cross-sectional approach. The population of this study were 71 children from Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal 42 Kindergarten, Semarang.The sample in this study was 66 children. The research sample consisted of 66 respondents selected using a total sampling technique. Data were obtained from dental examinations using the deft index and questionnaires completed by parents/guardians. The data were analyzed using the chi-square test. Results: The study shows that the length, duration, and frequency of formula milk consumption, the use of bottles/pacifiers, the duration of teat/bottle use, the addition of sweeteners to formula milk, as well as the history of breastfeeding until the age of 2 years and the age at which formula milk was first consumed, all show a p-value <0.05, indicating a significant relationship with caries severity. Conclusion: there is a relationship between formula milk consumption patterns and the severity of caries in preschool children at TK Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal 42 Semarang

Abstract

Kecemasan pada ibu hamil trimester III merupakan kondisi psikologis yang dapat berdampak negatif pada kesehatan ibu dan janin. Intervensi non- farmakologis, seperti murottal Al-Qur'an, berpotensi memberikan efek terapeutik dalam menurunkan kecemasan. Studi kasus ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas murottal Al-Qur'an dalam menurunkan tingkat kecemasan pada ibu hamil primigravida trimester III. Studi kasus dilakukan di RW 25 Sendangmulyo dengan tiga subjek studi yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi. Intervensi diberikan selama tujuh hari berturut-turut, dengan durasi 30 menit per sesi pada pagi hari, menggunakan murottal Surat Maryam. Tingkat kecemasan diukur menggunakan Perinatal Anxiety Screening Scale (PASS) sebelum dan sesudah intervensi pada setiap pertemuan.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya penurunan signifikan dalam skor kecemasan pada seluruh subjek studi. Subjek yang awalnya mengalami kecemasan berat (skor ≥41) mengalami penurunan bertahap hingga mencapai kategori kecemasan ringan (21–26) atau tidak cemas (≤20) pada hari terakhir intervensi. Penurunan ini mengindikasikan bahwa murottal Al- Qur'an memberikan efek relaksasi dan stabilisasi emosi, yang berkontribusi dalam mengurangi kecemasan selama kehamilan. Intervensi murottal Al- Qur'an terbukti efektif sebagai strategi non-farmakologis untuk menurunkan kecemasan pada ibu hamil primigravida trimester III. Studi ini mendukung penerapan murottal sebagai pendekatan yang sederhana, aman, dan berbasis spiritual dalam pengelolaan kecemasan perinatal.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Schizophrenia is a severe mental disorder that requires long-term care and sustained support at the community level. Limited mental health workforce resources and the high burden experienced by families highlight the importance of involving mental health cadres as a key strategy in community-based mental health services. Training for mental health cadres has been reported to enhance their capacity to support the care of patients with schizophrenia; however, the available scientific evidence on this intervention remains scattered and heterogeneous. This scoping review aimed to map the existing scientific evidence on training for mental health cadres in the care of patients with schizophrenia, including the types of interventions, study designs, and reported outcomes. This study employed a scoping review design following the Arksey and O’Malley framework and the Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI) guidelines, with reporting in accordance with PRISMA-ScR. A literature search was conducted across five databases: PubMed, ProQuest, ScienceDirect, DOAJ, and Garuda. Inclusion criteria comprised studies that examined training, education, or capacity-building interventions for mental health cadres within the context of schizophrenia care. The selection process resulted in eight articles, which were analyzed using descriptive and narrative synthesis. The synthesis revealed that most studies employed quasi-experimental and pre-experimental designs. The most common interventions were mental health cadre training and psychoeducation, with outcomes including improvements in cadres’ knowledge, attitudes, skills, perceptions, and self-efficacy. Several studies also reported positive effects on the quality of patient care, medication adherence, and reductions in family burden. Training for mental health cadres and community-based psychoeducational interventions are effective in enhancing cadres’ capacity to support the care of patients with schizophrenia. Nevertheless, limitations in study design indicate the need for further research using more robust methodologies to evaluate the long-term effectiveness of cadre-based interventions. Keywords: Mental Health Cadres, Training, Schizophrenia.  ABSTRAK Skizofrenia merupakan gangguan jiwa berat yang memerlukan perawatan jangka panjang dan dukungan berkelanjutan di tingkat komunitas. Keterbatasan sumber daya tenaga kesehatan jiwa serta tingginya beban keluarga menjadikan keterlibatan kader kesehatan jiwa sebagai strategi penting dalam pelayanan kesehatan jiwa berbasis masyarakat. Pelatihan kader kesehatan jiwa dilaporkan berpotensi meningkatkan kapasitas kader dalam mendukung perawatan pasien skizofrenia, namun bukti ilmiah terkait intervensi ini masih tersebar dan beragam. Scoping review ini bertujuan untuk memetakan bukti ilmiah terkait pelatihan kader kesehatan jiwa dalam perawatan pasien skizofrenia, termasuk jenis intervensi, desain penelitian, serta luaran yang dilaporkan. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain scoping review mengikuti kerangka Arksey dan O’Malley serta pedoman JBI, dengan pelaporan sesuai PRISMA-ScR. Pencarian literatur dilakukan pada lima basis data, yaitu PubMed, ProQuest, ScienceDirect, DOAJ, dan Garuda. Kriteria inklusi meliputi studi yang membahas pelatihan, pendidikan, atau capacity building kader kesehatan jiwa dalam konteks perawatan pasien skizofrenia. Proses seleksi menghasilkan delapan artikel yang dianalisis secara deskriptif dan naratif. Hasil sintesis menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar penelitian menggunakan desain quasi-eksperimental dan pre-eksperimental. Intervensi yang paling dominan adalah pelatihan kader kesehatan jiwa dan psikoedukasi, dengan luaran berupa peningkatan pengetahuan, sikap, keterampilan, persepsi, dan self-efficacy kader. Beberapa studi juga melaporkan dampak positif terhadap kualitas perawatan pasien, kepatuhan pengobatan, serta penurunan beban keluarga. Pelatihan kader kesehatan jiwa dan intervensi psikoedukasi berbasis komunitas terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kapasitas kader dalam mendukung perawatan pasien skizofrenia. Meskipun demikian, keterbatasan desain penelitian menunjukkan perlunya studi lanjutan dengan metodologi yang lebih kuat untuk menilai efektivitas jangka panjang intervensi berbasis kader. Kata Kunci: Kader, Pelatihan, Skizofrenia.
