Abstract

The purpose of this study is to know the effect of instructional strategies and vocabulary mastery on English writing skill. This study is a quantitative one.The research design is 2x2 treatment by level which consist of instructional strategies (A) and vocabulary mastery (B). Instructional strategies (A) consist of groups that are treated by collaborative writing strategy (A1) as an experimental class, and cooperative integrated reading and composition strategy (A2) as a control class. While vocabulary mastery (B) consists of two groups, they are the high vocabulary mastery group (B1) and the low vocabulary mastery group (B2). Based on the result of the research, it is shown that the mean score of collaborative writing is higher than the mean score of cooperative integrated reading and composition. Significance (Sig.) .002 <0.005 which indicates that the variable has an interaction, the instructional strategies and vocabulary mastery have a significant effect on English writing skill. It can be concluded that instructional strategies and vocabulary mastery can promote English writing skill

Abstract

The research delves into the impact of the flipped classroom model on student learning outcomes in chemistry education, utilizing a literature review methodology and systematically analyzing nine scopus-indexed articles. The flipped classroom, characterized by independent pre-class learning and in-class interactive activities, consistently demonstrates positive effects on academic performance, engagement, and motivation in chemistry education. The synthesis encompasses diverse methodologies, educational levels, and outcomes, highlighting the model's adaptability across different contexts. Critiques, including uncertainties about contributing factors, prompt recommendations for future research, such as exploring blended learning models and integrating Artificial Intelligence for personalized learning experiences. Abstract

Pada Lembaga pendidikan bagi ASD di usia dewasa pengembangan aktualisasi potensi ASD menuju kemandirian sebaiknya diarahkan pada pengembangan keterampilan vokasional. London School Beyond Academy (LSBA) merupakan lembaga pelatihan vokasional yang khusus menerima penyandang disabilitas khusus ASD. Selama 1 tahun terakhir di LSBA berdasarkan observasi dan wawancara terhadap dosen, asisten dosen dan siswa menghadapi masalah dalam pembelajaran. Proses kegiatan pembelajaran masih menggunakan cara konvensional seperti bahan ajar (print out) dan metode pembelajaran (ceramah dan teacher centered). Salah satu mata kuliah yang mengalami penurunan yang cukup signifikan di LSBA yaitu Teknik Celup khususnya materi Shibori. Shibori merupakan teknik yang berasal dari Jepang dan biasa disebut dengan batik Jepang. Siswa ASD dalam meningkatkan keterampilannya memerlukan dukungan berbasis Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (TIK). Salah satu model e-book yang dapat membantu guru dalam pembuatan bahan ajar dapat menggunakan multimedia flipbook. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui kebutuhan e-book yang akan dikembangkan dengan Flipbook. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian dan pengembangan (research and development). Hasil analisa kebutuhan yang telah dilakukan, dapat diindentifikasi beberapa permasalahan, diantaranya (1) Pemahaman materi yang diberikan dan buku panduan yang sangat kurang diberikan kepada pendidik. (2) Pemanfaatan media pembelajaran dan teknologi yang kurang digunakan oleh pendidik. (3) Pendidik menggunakan metode pembelajaran Teknik Celup Shibori yang kurang menarik. Namun peserta didik memerlukan media pembelajaran yang menarik, mudah digunakan dan dapat digunakan dimana saja. Sehingga dengan dikembangkannya e-book menggunakan flipbook sehingga diharapkan dapat memenuhi kebutuhan peserta didik dan meningkatkan motivasi belajar.

Abstract

Pancasila and Citizenship Education learning aims to achieve civic character (civic disposition), civic skills and civic knowledge . The material studied is related to the 1945 Constitution, Pancasila, the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia and Bhinneka Tunggal Ika. The material provided teaches many concepts, but to achieve character or attitude, it is necessary to develop learning media that accommodates the material, Civics learning objectives and students who are the millennial generation with their own characteristics. The aim of this research is to analyze the needs of digital Fotonovelas with analysis stages: needs analysis, analysis of digital Fotonovela characteristics, and curriculum analysis so that information can be obtained about the initial conceptual design of digital Fotonovelas using contextual learning principles. The research method uses mixed methods , qualitative and literature study. Data collection techniques were carried out using observation, interviews with educators and students and literature reviews . The data obtained was analyzed using qualitative data analysis techniques. The data analysis process uses the Miles and Huberman interactive analysis model which includes 4 stages, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh data dan informasi yang aktual diperoleh dengan menerapkan 3 level pertama dari model evaluasi Kirkpatrick, yaitu: Level 1 (Reaksi), mengukur reaksi dan kepuasan pendidikan dan latihan, Level 2 (Belajar), mengukur signifikansi dari hasil belajar, Level 3 (Perilaku) yang mengukur perubahan perilaku peserta. Penelitian menggunakan 3 level pertama dari model evaluasi Kirkpatrick. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Pusat Pendidikan Lalu Lintas Polri Pusat DKI Jakarta. Jumlah responden pada evaluasi ini berjumlah 86 Responden terdiri dari 25 orang peserta didik, 9 orang tenaga pendidik, 2 orang pengasuh, 25 orang rekan kerja dan atasan kerja dari masing-masing peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan penyebaran kuesioner. Level 1: Reaksi terdapat 7 komponen penilaian yakni tingkat kepuasan yang sudah melebihi 40% adalah kepuasan peserta Diklat terhadap penilaian Instruktur/pelatih (Trainer (2) fasilitas pelatihan memiliki rata-rata tingkat kepuasan (3) tingkat kepuasan terhadap Penilaian jadwal pelatihan (4) penilaian media pelatihan. Tetapi, (5) Kepuasan peserta Diklat terhadap komponen penilaian rata-rata sebesar paling banyak tidak puas 31,45%. (6) Tingkat kepuasan sudah di atas 40% terhadap komponen penilaian konsumsi/logistik (7) Kepuasan peserta Diklat terhadap komponen penilaian latihan atau tugas cukup puas. Level 2: Hasil Belajar, yaitu peserta Diklat pada aspek pengetahuan memliki peningkatan yang signifikan dari hasil pemberian tes (pretest dan posttest); Hasil belajar peserta Diklat pada aspek keterampilan dan sikap direspon positif terhadap tenaga pendidik dan pengasuh. Level 3: Perilaku yang direspon secara negatif oleh beberapa atasan dan rekan kerja yaitu pada komponen penilaian aspek pengetahuan dan keterampilan dikarenakan bukan berasal dari penegak hukum.

Abstract

Karakter berkebhinekaan global merupakan kemampuan peserta didik untuk mempertahankan budaya luhur, lokalitas, dan identitas, sembari tetap berpikiran terbuka dalam berinteraksi dengan budaya lain. Karakter ini mendorong rasa saling menghargai dan kemungkinan terbentuknya budaya baru yang positif tanpa bertentangan dengan nilai-nilai budaya bangsa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh digital citizenship terhadap pembentukan karakter berkebhinekaan global pada peserta didik. Pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei digunakan dalam penelitian ini, melibatkan 74 responden yang dipilih melalui teknik simple random sampling dari total populasi sebanyak 287 peserta didik. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan regresi linier sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa digital citizenship memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap karakter berkebhinekaan global, dengan kontribusi sebesar 63,6%. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya peran literasi digital dalam membentuk peserta didik yang mampu menghargai keberagaman global tanpa meninggalkan jati diri budaya lokal. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan bagi pendidik untuk mengintegrasikan pendidikan kewarganegaraan digital dalam upaya menanamkan nilai-nilai kebhinekaan global.

Abstract

Several previous studies have tried to develop mathematics learning applications, but they are still limited as a learning medium. Developing a digital-based mathematics learning application that facilitates learning from start to finish is necessary. This study aims to develop a viable and effective mobile application. The Development Process uses the CAI design model, which includes needs assessment, design, and development & implementation. Formative evaluations were obtained from expert reviews and students. The experts involved are experts in content, learning media, and multimedia. The formative evaluation stage by students includes one-to-one trials, small groups, and field trials. Research data was collected through questionnaires and test questions. This study involved 1 teacher and 52 high school students in Indonesia. The average score of expert reviews is 3.6, which is in the category of very good. The average score obtained from Formative Evaluation by students is 3.5, with an excellent category. The pretest and post-test scores showed an increase of 40% in students who achieved the completeness of learning outcomes. The average score of N-gain is 0.4 in the medium category. The Ajarin Mobile Application is feasible and effective in improving students' mathematics learning outcomes. This research is expected to be an alternative digital learning resource that makes it easier for teachers to facilitate mathematics learning in schools.

Abstract

Blended learning facilitates learning by providing various learning resources and considering the characteristics of learners. This study aims to conduct a needs analysis for the development of blended learning in instructor training at Basarnas. Needs analysis is carried out to explore information about gaps and needs as well as student profiles that can be used as a basis or reference in developing blended learning at the next stage. This research is a descriptive study with quantitative approach. Data collection was carried out by means of observation, interviews, and distributing questionnaires. Interviews were conducted with the Head of the Sub-Directorate for Planning and Standardization of Basarnas Personnel, while the filling of the questionnaire was carried out by the Basarnas Rescuer who will attend instructor training as many as 50 respondents. The results show that instructor training at Basarnas can be designed in the form of blended learning by using a project-based learning approach to overcome existing limitations or gaps so that the implementation of blended learning that combines the delivery of face-to-face learning and online learning can be an intervention that is suitable to be applied and appropriate. with the needs at Basarnas.

Abstract

Most of the physics done in schools is more about learning on knowledge and understanding of the material, without developing problem-solving skills and applying concepts in real-life contexts. Students still often use the plug & chug and memory-based approach in solving physical problems. It causes students to be able to solve simple quantitative issues but cannot solve more complex issues. This study aims to produce mobile learning with a feasible and practical STEM approach for physics lessons. This research is a Research and Development (R&D) using the Alessi and Trollip model. The model consists of three stages of development, namely planning, design, and development. The methods used to collect data are interviews and questionnaires. The instrument used to collect data is a questionnaire. The technique used to analyze the information is descriptive qualitative and quantitative analysis. Based on trials conducted by learning design experts, media experts, and materials experts and direct effectiveness tests using products with tangible goals. It was found that mobile learning applications with a STEM approach were feasible and effective in physical learning. Combining STEM approaches and problem-based learning models with mobile learning can be one of the suitable lessons for making. This study indicates that the development of cross-platform mobile learning applications with a STEM approach is feasible and effective in learning physics.
