Abstract

This study aims to describe: (1) The role of the Akidah Akhlak teacher in fostering the character value of responsibility among Grade VIII B students at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Hidayatul Mubtadiin Jati Agung; and (2) The supporting and inhibiting factors faced by the Akidah Akhlak teacher in developing students’ sense of responsibility. This research is a qualitative field study (field research) with a descriptive qualitative approach, which involves systematically, factually, and accurately describing situations and events. Data sources were obtained from both primary and secondary sources, with the primary data being key informants relevant to the research focus. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation. To ensure data validity, triangulation was applied. The data analysis process involved data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The findings of this study indicate that: (1) The role of the Akidah Akhlak teacher in instilling the character value of responsibility is reflected through the observation of three stages of classroom learning: planning, implementation, and evaluation. These stages were all carried out effectively by the Akidah Akhlak teacher at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Hidayatul Mubtadiin Jati Agung. Furthermore, disciplinary actions or sanctions given by the teacher varied depending on the students’ behavior, but were applied fairly without discrimination. Overall, the role of the teacher in promoting responsibility among students was considered to be quite effective.

Abstract

The capacity strengthening program for electric vehicle conversion workshops at SMK Karya Nugraha Boyolali was implemented through a synergistic collaboration model between universities, vocational schools, and industry. This study employed a qualitative descriptive approach with a case study method to evaluate the effectiveness of the six-month program. The findings revealed a significant improvement in participants’ technical competencies, as evidenced by the increase in pre-test and post-test scores, as well as the successful development of a solar photovoltaic (PV)-based electric vehicle charging station prototype. Beyond technical achievements, the program also strengthened multi-stakeholder collaboration and fostered the creation of a micro-scale clean energy ecosystem within the school environment. These results demonstrate that practice-based vocational training combined with strategic collaboration can make a substantial contribution to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly clean energy (SDG 7), industry innovation (SDG 9), and climate change mitigation (SDG 13).

Abstract

This study aims to analyze human resource (HR) development strategies in improving teacher performance and the quality of Islamic Junior High Schools (Madrasah Tsanawiyah). The studyis background is the importance of the quality of educational human resources as a major factor in the success of Islamic educational institutions, especially in meeting the demands for learning quality, teacher professionalism, and madrasa competitiveness. The study used a qualitative, multi-site approach across three Madrasah Tsanawiyah in South Lampung Regency: MTs Negeri 4 South Lampung, MTs Mathla'ul Anwar Cintamulya, and MTs Hidayatul Mubtadiin Jati Agung. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation, then tested for validity through triangulation of sources, techniques, and time. Data analysis was carried out through single-site and cross-site analysis. The results of the study indicate that HR development strategies are implemented through the POAC (Planning, Organizing, Actuating, Controlling) management function which includes teacher needs planning, ongoing training, academic supervision, teacher empowerment, performance evaluation, and strengthening work culture. This strategy impacts teacher competence and performance, learning innovation, work discipline, and the quality of madrasahs as institutions. This study recommends an adaptive, collaborative, and sustainable human resource development model for Madrasah Tsanawiyah.

Abstract

Electric vehicles is in rapid development. The energy commonly used as a driving force for electric vehicles comes from batteries. The development of electric vehicle technology is currently concentrated on efforts to charge the battery used by utilizing the power wasted when braking electrically. The gearbox and final drive are installed as a mechanical transmission system for electric vehicles to increase the torque of the BLDC motor as the main driving force of the vehicle. The regenerative process occurs when the Kelly-KBL motor controller electric braking feature is activated. For this reason, Arduino Mega and LabVIEW software are used to observe the current and voltage of lead acid batteries with voltage 48 V and capacity 225 Ah (C20). In addition, a 2 kW BLDC motor RPM was also observed in the electric braking monitoring system. From the results of monitoring and data collection, the vehicle traveled a distance of 36.06 m in 68 s time intervals with an average speed of 16.8 m / s. The average torque value when electric braking on a BLDC motor supplies 154 Nm, while the average torque of the vehicle is 996.99 Nm. The average regenerative power of the wheels is 17.07 kW, while the average mechanical power of the wheels is 13.67 kW. Coulometric state of charge (SOC) shows an increase in battery capacity of 4.27% and 99.97% voltage SOC at the beginning of the activation of the electric brake pedal. Maximum battery power movement when charging, 2.25 kW is caused by the activation of the electric brake pedal. Whereas when using a maximum of 1.52 kW. The application of electric braking has a power consumption efficiency of 0.042%. and charging power charging 18.97%.

Abstract

Synthetic nanoparticles are the process of making particles with a size of less than 100 nm and changing the properties of the material so that it can be improved to improve the usability of new products. One method that can be used is the arc discharge method in water, which is a synthetic method of nanoparticles, which is very simple because it does not require complicated equipment. This study uses graphene as an electrode, which is then immersed in water and mounted horizontally. Current and voltage monitoring is carried out during the arc discharge process using a Hall-based current sensor and the voltage is measured directly between the two electrodes. Variations in input current of 10A, 40A, 70A, and 100A affect the arc formed, current and voltage, and ionization energy. Monitoring with OES is also carried out to determine the shape of the plasma, and the wavelength when the arc occurs. The results obtained that the current has more effective and optimal results in synthesizing nanoparticles.

Abstract

Single electron transistor (SET) has high potential for the development of quantum computing technologies in order to provide low power consumption electronics. For that purpose, many studies have been conducted to develop SET using dopants as quantum dots (QD). The working principle of SET basically is a single electron tunneling one by one through tunnel junction based on the coulomb blockade effect. This research will simulate various configurations of triple quantum dots single electron transistors (TQD-SET) using SIMON 2.0 with an experimental approach of MOSFET with dopants QD. The configurations used are series, parallel, and triangle configuration. The mutual capacitance (Cm), tunnel junctions (TJ), and temperature values of TQD-SET configurations are varied. The I-V characteristics are observed and analyzed for typical source-drain voltage (Vsd). it is found that the TQD series requires larger Vsd than parallel or triangular TQDs. On the other hands, the current in parallel TQD tends to be stable even though Cm is changed, and the current in the TQD triangle is strongly influenced by the Cm. By comparing these three configurations, it is observed that the tunnelling rate is higher for parallel TQD due to higher probability current moves through three dots by applying Vds.

Abstract

Academic data plays a central role in supporting decision-making in educational institutions. However, the successful implementation of machine learning to analyze and make predictions based on academic data highly depends on the quality and readability of the data. To fully harness the potential of machine learning, careful preprocessing of academic data is essential. This research aims to design and implement preprocessing techniques, that is imputation, winsorizing, and dropping data on academic data. To handle missing values, the Multivariate Imputation by Chained Equation method is used with three different algorithms, linear regression, random forest, and KNN, and then the accuracy of these three algorithms in predicting missing values is compared. Additionally, winsorizing method is applied to outliers and data duplication is addressed by dropping duplicate data. Based on the testing results through evaluation metrics, these preprocessing techniques can improve model accuracy by 0.037 for MAE, 0.11 for RMSE, and 0.006 for MSE. The processed data allows the model to function more optimally and produce more reliable results.
