Abstract

The Cegeur Village Government tasked the Tourism Awareness Group (POKDARWIS) Rangers of Cageur Village, Darma District, and Kuningan Regency with managing the "Eyang Dalem Cageur" Cultural Heritage Site. Management in a 12.62 ha high conservation value area takes the form of religious tourist packages. This religious tourism site in Kuningan Regency is a graveyard for promoting Islam, and there is still a genetic tie with Wali Songo. Furthermore, it still has the indigenous flora of Mount Ciremai and is home to a variety of species, which are markers of regional sustainability. This region also serves as a catchment area for the neighboring communities and the Cisanggarung River's headwaters. If waste left by tourists is not properly managed, it can become a severe problem. Waste may be recycled or converted into valuable items. Eco-enzymes, which offer several advantages, produce family waste. The goal of arranging community service is to strengthen POKDARWIS Jagawana's capabilities via waste management. The projected advantage is the growth of productive, circular local economic institutions toward the establishment of an independent Cageur village. The lecture method is employed, with waste management seminar techniques followed by discussions packaged as workshops. Keywords: Pokdarwis, Waste, Eco-enzyme, Circular Economy. Abstract

Problems in agricultural, plantation and forestry cultivation that are often faced by farmers in Karangsari Village include high dependence on subsidized fertilizers, pests and diseases, climate/weather uncertainty, and market prices. To overcome this problem, various potential bioprospectives available in nature can be used, both acting as soil enhancers, biological fertilizers, organic fertilizers, controlling pests and diseases, and others. One of the bioprospecting materials in the Gunung Ciremai National Park area is Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungi (AMF). The purpose of this service is to provide understanding and skills of farmers in the use of natural resources for plant cultivation activities, especially in terms of propagation of mycorrhizal fertilizers. the method of devotion is carried out by means of lectures and practices. The lecture method is used to deliver material about natural ingredients that can be used as fertilizer and pest and disease control, while the practice/training method is used to train mycorrhizal biofertilizer propagation techniques. The results of the service show that farmers are very enthusiastic in responding to this activity, as can be seen from the many mycorrhizal discussions which are new knowledge for them. The participants tried to multiply mycorrhizae in a simple way and maintain the plants until harvest time. Farmer groups are also trying to use mycorrhizae in their fields.

Abstract

Abstract

Local culture often inherits a patriarchal view that regards women as the second gender category. However, this stereotyped view is only partially correct, especially when looking at the extent to which Sundanese culture views, defines, and places the role of women. Women in the local Sundanese culture have a role as balance keepers in the sense of anthropocentrism. This study aims to describe the role of women as anthropocentric subjects in Sundanese culture. The data of this study were taken from the film Ambu (2019), which represents women's roles in the Sundanese culture, especially as shown in the Baduy tribe. This study is descriptive-qualitative. It used Fairclough's Critical Discourse Analysis approach. This framework enables the film to be studied through its discursive dialogues and scenes, examining how these elements reflect and engage with social and cultural practices. The findings show that the film portrays a representation of women through Ambu Misnah, who embodies gender balance in Sundanese culture, challenging traditional views of domestication. As a cultural symbol connected to Sunan Ambu, her role contrasts with liberal feminist ideals, highlighting a more localized form of female empowerment. Furthermore, the language used by a male character, specifically the head of the Baduy Tribe, reflects a transfer of authority, signaling a shift in gender-power relations. Thus, these findings emphasize an anthropocentric awareness of the role of women, particularly within the Sundanese community.

Abstract

Farmers in Karangsari Village have limited access to subsidized fertilizers because they are constrained by the requirements that must be met. This condition encourages farmers to look for alternative fertilizers that can reduce dependence on subsidized fertilizers, one of which is by using mycorrhizal biofertilizers. This service activity is an advanced stage of the previous service activity. The purpose of the activity is to provide training in making plant plots and techniques for using mycorrhizal biofertilizers in the plant cultivation process. Service activities are carried out by lecture and practice methods with stages: 1) pre-test, 2) exposure of fertilizer material, fertilization and biofertilizer (material repetition), 3) practice of making plant demplots, 4) practice of mycorrhizal biofertilizer application to plants, 5) post test, and 6) assistance in plant observation and maintenance. The results of the service show that there is an increase in farmers' knowledge in understanding biological fertilizers and an increase in farmers' awareness/desire in applying biological fertilizers in cultivation practices.
