Abstract

Women are often considered secondary creatures so that they do not have rights to themselves and the right to regulate themselves, especially in terms of reproductive rights. Reproductive rights are part of human rights which are often denied in society and often suffer from abuse and violence. This research uses a qualitative approach to better understand reproductive rights according to Masdar Farid Mas'udi with a transfarmative interpretation approach. As for the results of this research, in Masdar Farid Mas'udi's thoughts on women's reproductive rights, he divided them into several aspects, namely women's rights in choosing a partner, women's rights in enjoying sexual relations, women's rights in determining pregnancy or having offspring, women's rights in caring for children, women's rights to obtain reproductive leave, and women's rights to divorce their partners

Abstract

Childfree is a life decision or choice not to have biological children. The term Childfree only appeared at the end of the 20th century, but the phenomenon of childfree has only been discussed in Indonesia, and has caused many pros and cons among the public. People who decide to be childfree give reasons that the human population is too large and motherhood is not an obligation, but many people are against childfree for various reasons such as giving reasons by carrying the name of religion, with the argument that the prophet is proud of people who have many offspring. Because of this, the author wants to examine the child-free phenomenon using a tematik method with maqoshidi interpretation approach to find out the answers from the Qur'an. There are several verses from the Qur'an that allude to the childfree phenomenon, such as Surah an-Nahl 72 which explains that the purpose of marriage is to have children, and in Surah At-Taghobun verses 14-15 which explains that it can be a trial. Through the maqashidi interpretation approach, the authors found the initial hypothesis, namely that sometimes the pro childfree attitude contains benefits from the maqashid syariah point of view, and sometimes the contra attitude towards childfree can also be justified from the maqashid syariah point of view

Abstract

Psychotherapy reciting the prayer of the Prophet Ayyub in surah Al-Anbiya/21 verse 83 can be a solution in rehabilitating methamphetamine addicts. By using the Prophet Ayyub's prayer as a medium for zikr, rehabilitation participants at the Taubaters 205 community transformation house can reflect on their condition with the Prophet Ayyub's condition when saying the prayer. Through meta-coaching, rehabilitation participants can give meaning to everything that happens in their lives. Then, you can reflect on the patience and wisdom of the Prophet Ayyub towards himself. Through gratitude, devotion, and sincere worship, carrying out obligatory and sunnah worship during the rehabilitation period to reduce the effects of methamphetamine addiction. This research uses neuro-semantic studies as an assessment and hypnotherapy to map the psychological indicators of rehabilitation participants into a matrix. Rehabilitation participants who have recovered from methamphetamine addiction will show changes in their level of efficacy. The results of this research show that zikr psychotherapy can provide psychological effects by changing indications in the intentions, meaning, self, power, other, state, time, and world of methamphetamine addicts. From a neuro-semantic perspective, addicts can be declared cured if they have the determination and strength to fight triggers when using methamphetamine. After carrying out zikr psychotherapy, rehabilitation participants have a strong belief system and meaning towards Allah, the Almighty Giver of Healing. However, recovery from addictive methamphetamine addiction is usually long-term. Addicts of methamphetamine can be said to have recovered if they have been able to overcome their addiction physically and are no longer dependent on the substance permanently. The psychological conditions and negative impacts experienced by methamphetamine addicts are different for each person. Therefore, former addicts must continue to do zikr even after leaving rehabilitation

Abstract

This study examines how gender justice for women is negotiated in inheritance distribution in Aceh, Indonesia, through the perspective of the Living Qur’an. It focuses on how Acehnese Muslims understand and practice Qur’anic teachings on inheritance within a strong local cultural context. The study addresses two questions: (1) how the Qur’anic inheritance verses (āyāt al-mawārīth) are understood in Acehnese society, and (2) how gender justice is realized in local inheritance practices. This research employs a qualitative design using the Living Qur’an approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document analysis in several regions of Aceh, involving religious scholars, customary leaders, and family members with direct experience in inheritance practices. The findings reveal that inheritance distribution in Aceh is not applied through a strictly textual model but is shaped by continuous negotiation between Islamic legal principles and local customs. Mechanisms such as hibah, wasiat, hareuta peunulang, and family deliberation are used to balance Qur’anic norms with social realities and to achieve a locally accepted sense of justice for women. Rather than indicating a deviation from Islamic law, these practices demonstrate how the Qur’an operates as a living ethical framework in everyday life. This study argues that Islamic inheritance law in Aceh functions not merely as a formal legal system but as a living tradition that adapts to socio-cultural contexts while maintaining its normative foundation, thereby enabling a contextual realization of gender justice.
