Abstract

Adolescent reproductive health knowledge and attitudes are important determinants in preventing risky sexual behaviors such as unintended pregnancy, abortion, and sexually transmitted infections. However, various studies indicate that adolescents' knowledge levels remain low and their attitudes toward reproductive health tend to be less positive. This literature review aimed to synthesize current empirical evidence on adolescent reproductive health from the perspective of knowledge and attitudes, identify determinant factors, and evaluate the effectiveness of various reproductive health education interventions. A comprehensive literature search was conducted through three major databases (Google Scholar, ScienceDirect, and Portal Garuda) with inclusion criteria of articles published between 2014-2026, written in Indonesian or English, and discussing variables of adolescent reproductive health knowledge and attitudes. A total of 15 articles meeting the inclusion criteria were analyzed thematically. The review findings indicate that adolescent reproductive health knowledge generally remains in the low to moderate category, while attitudes toward premarital sexual behavior are strongly influenced by educational factors, information access, parental roles, family structure, pornography exposure, peer pressure, and sociocultural norms. Reproductive health education interventions based on schools, communities, families, digital technology, and peer mentorship approaches have proven effective in improving adolescents' knowledge and positive attitudes, although effectiveness varies depending on methods and context. This review concludes that a holistic approach integrating knowledge improvement, attitude strengthening, as well as family and health system support is essential to comprehensively address adolescent reproductive health problems. Future research is recommended to employ longitudinal designs with standardized instruments to establish stronger causal relationships. ABSTRAK Pengetahuan dan sikap kesehatan reproduksi remaja merupakan faktor determinan penting dalam mencegah perilaku seksual berisiko seperti kehamilan tidak direncanakan, aborsi, dan infeksi menular seksual. Namun, berbagai studi menunjukkan bahwa tingkat pengetahuan remaja masih rendah dan sikap mereka terhadap kesehatan reproduksi cenderung kurang positif. Tinjauan literatur ini bertujuan untuk mensintesis bukti empiris terkini mengenai kesehatan reproduksi remaja dalam perspektif pengetahuan dan sikap, mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor determinan, serta mengevaluasi efektivitas berbagai intervensi pendidikan kesehatan reproduksi. Pencarian literatur dilakukan secara komprehensif melalui tiga basis data utama (Google Scholar, ScienceDirect, dan Portal Garuda) dengan kriteria inklusi artikel yang dipublikasikan pada rentang waktu 2021-2026, berbahasa Indonesia atau Inggris, serta membahas variabel pengetahuan dan sikap kesehatan reproduksi remaja. Sebanyak 15 artikel yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi dianalisis secara tematik. Hasil tinjauan menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan kesehatan reproduksi remaja secara umum masih berada pada kategori rendah hingga sedang, sementara sikap terhadap perilaku seksual pranikah sangat dipengaruhi oleh faktor pendidikan, akses informasi, peran orang tua, struktur keluarga, paparan pornografi, tekanan teman sebaya, dan norma sosial budaya. Intervensi pendidikan kesehatan reproduksi berbasis sekolah, komunitas, keluarga, teknologi digital, maupun pendekatan teman sebaya terbukti efektif meningkatkan pengetahuan dan sikap positif remaja, meskipun efektivitasnya bervariasi tergantung metode dan konteks. Simpulan tinjauan ini menegaskan bahwa pendekatan holistik yang mengintegrasikan peningkatan pengetahuan, penguatan sikap, serta dukungan keluarga dan sistem layanan kesehatan sangat diperlukan untuk mengatasi permasalahan kesehatan reproduksi remaja secara komprehensif. Penelitian selanjutnya direkomendasikan menggunakan desain longitudinal dengan instrumen baku untuk menetapkan hubungan kausalitas yang lebih kuat.

Abstract

ENThis literature review aims to assess and understand the needs and development of practical guidelines in biology subjects. The characteristics of biology as a science that has objects of study in the form of concrete objects and can be captured by the senses are developed based on empirical experience (real experience). One of the empirical experiences can be done through practical activities. Practical activities carried out are not only oriented towards the final results to be obtained, but involve how the process of finding scientific facts. The literature review analyzed 25 relevant articles and focused on the importance of the need for practical guidelines in biology subjects. Articles were obtained from several databases. The review results showed that several articles developed practical guidelines in the form of modules using 4-D or 3-D models. The results of the validity recapitulation showed the feasibility of the contents of A1-A5 in the valid-very valid category, with a value range of 79% - 96.66%. The average practicality results of A2-A4 can be stated that all of them are in the very practical category based on the assessment scores from the validator. Overall, A1-A5 is a media development product in the form of a practical guide that is suitable for use in the biology learning process because it has met the media suitability standards based on validity and practicality tests obtained from the accumulation of scores by the validator.IDLiterature review ini bertujuan untuk menilai dan memahami kebutuhan serta pengembangan panduan praktikum pada mata pelajaran biologi. Karakteristik Biologi sebagai ilmu mempunyai objek kajian berupa benda konkret dan dapat ditangkap indera dikembangkan berdasarkan pengalaman empiris (pengalaman nyata). Pengalaman empiris salah satunya dapat dilakukan melalui kegiatan praktikum. Kegiatan praktikum yang dilakukan tidak hanya berorientasi pada hasil akhir yang akan diperoleh, tetapi melibatkan bagaimana proses untuk menemukan fakta sains. Literature review menganalisis 25 artikel yang relevan dan berfokus pada pentingnya kebutuhan panduan praktikum pada mata pelajaran biologi. Artikel didapatkan dengan dari beberapa database. Hasil review menunjukkan bahwa beberapa artikel mengadakan pengembangan panduan praktikum baik berupa modul dengan menggunakan model 4-D atau 3-D. Hasil rekapitulasi validitas menunjukkan kelayakan isi A1-A5 dalam kategori valid-sangat valid, dengan rentang nilai 79% - 96,66%. Hasil rata-rata praktikalitas dari A2-A4 dapat dinyatakan bahwa seluruhnya masuk ke kategori sangat praktis berdasarkan skor penilaian dari validator. Secara keseluruhan A1-A5 merupakan produk pengembangan media berupa penuntun praktikum yang layak untuk digunakan pada proses pembelajaran biologi karena telah memenuhi standar kelayakan media berdasarkan uji validitas dan praktikalitas yang diperoleh dari akumulasi skor oleh validator.

Abstract

ENThis study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach in increasing student attention in biology learning through a systematic literature review. The method used was Systematic Literature Review (SLR) of relevant national and international scientific articles published between 2020 and 2025. The results showed that the CTL approach-consisting of seven main components, constructivism, questioning, discovery, collaboration, learning communities, modelling, and authentic assessment-contributed significantly to increasing students' attention and engagement. The application of CTL is proven to be able to link biology material with students' real-life context, making learning more meaningful and enjoyable. Analysis showed that the combination of CTL with visual media, Learner Worksheets (LKPD), and real experience-based activities consistently showed high to very high effectiveness in increasing student attention. Thus, the CTL approach is recommended as an effective strategy to overcome the problem of low student attention in biology learning at schoolIDPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas pendekatan Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) dalam meningkatkan atensi siswa pada pembelajaran biologi melalui kajian literatur sistematis. Metode yang digunakan adalah Systematic Literature Review (SLR) terhadap artikel ilmiah nasional dan internasional yang relevan, terbit antara tahun 2020 hingga 2025. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan CTL yang terdiri dari tujuh komponen utama, konstruktivisme, bertanya, menemukan, kolaborasi, masyarakat belajar, pemodelan, dan penilaian autentik, berkontribusi secara signifikan dalam meningkatkan perhatian dan keterlibatan siswa. Penerapan CTL terbukti mampu mengaitkan materi biologi dengan konteks kehidupan nyata siswa, menjadikan pembelajaran lebih bermakna dan menyenangkan. Analisis menunjukkan bahwa kombinasi CTL dengan media visual, Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD), dan kegiatan berbasis pengalaman nyata secara konsisten menunjukkan efektivitas tinggi hingga sangat tinggi dalam meningkatkan atensi siswa. Dengan demikian, pendekatan CTL direkomendasikan sebagai strategi yang efektif untuk mengatasi permasalahan rendahnya perhatian siswa dalam pembelajaran biologi di sekolah.

Abstract

One of the objectives of the Biology Education study program is that students have entrepreneurial insights and competencies in the field of biology education that can contribute to self-development and society. Based on the objectives of this study program, it can be concluded that graduates of the study program are not only expected to become teachers but also to become entrepreneurs. Therefore, in the lecture process, it is hoped that each course can be oriented to foster students' entrepreneurial interest and motivation. This study aims to reveal how the entrepreneurial interest of Biology Education students after taking the Plant Structure and Development course. Because of the potential of this course if the right project assignment is developed in fostering the entrepreneurial spirit, this will be able to form graduates who have entrepreneurial competencies. This research is an exploratory descriptive research. The data were analyzed with descriptive statistics and the results of the data analysis were later interpreted in qualitative form. The results showed that 91.37% of students are interested in entrepreneurship and the level of entrepreneurial interest of students has a high category. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the entrepreneurial interest of Biology Education students after taking the course of Plant Structure and Development has a high category.
