Abstract

This study aims to identify the types of plants that can be found in home gardens by the community in Mungka District, West Sumatra, using an ethnobotanical approach. The study focuses on identifying the types of cultivated plants, the utilization of home garden plants, their distribution, and the conservation status of these plants. The method used in this study was direct observation of the informants. The results of the study reveal that backyard plants in Mungka District exhibit a high level of species diversity and are utilized in various ways, ranging from food sources, ornamental plants, to traditional medicine. It is hoped that the findings of this study will contribute to efforts in preserving traditional knowledge and managing biodiversity in the region.

Abstract

Perkembangan zaman era modern saat ini, perawatan kulit sangat diperlukan untuk kaum wanita dan lelaki untuk menjaga kesehatan kulit serta dapat meningkatkan kepercayaan diri dalam penampilan. Melakukan perawatan kulit dapat ditemukan diklinik kecantikan, pemeriksaan akan dilakukan oleh Dokter, dan adanya perawat yang siap membantu dalam perawatan. Klinik kecantikan terbuka umum untuk pasien dari kalangan orang tua, remaja, dan pekerja sehingga hal ini dapat mempengaruhi psikologis pasien yang lelah dalam bekerja, ataupun bersekolah terhadap tata ruang klinik yang sempit, pencahayaan klinik terlalu terang, dan warna ruang yang mencolok. Arsitektur perilaku adalah arsitektur yang membahas tentang hubungan antara tingkah laku manusia dengan lingkungannya, yang penerapannya selalu menyertakan pertimbangan-pertimbangan perilaku dalam perancangan. Untuk penyesuaian tata ruang klinik digunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif ini merupakan cara mengamati fakta-fakta maupun Gambaran situasi yang ada yang kemudian dianalisis dengan mendeskripsikan. Klinik perawatan yang nyaman menjadi kebutuhan bagi setiap orang yang menginginkan kulit sehat, bersih, dan cantik. Arsitektur Perilaku sebagai landasan dalam menciptakan ruang dan lingkungan dengan memandang faktor perilaku (manusia) yang tidak terlepas dari psikologis dengan penerapan warna pada ruangan, pencahayaan yang tidak terlalu terang dan gelap, serta tingkat kebisingan pada ruang perawatan. Perawatan dan pelayanan terhadap pengguna biasanya membutuhkan ruangan administrasi, ruang tunggu, ruang konsultasi, dan ruang perawatan. Untuk mendapatkan penataan ruangan yang nyaman bagi pengguna akan diterapkan dengan Arsitektur Perilaku.

Abstract

This study aims to look at the effect of the cooperative learning model type Think Pair Share on the improvement of the students' learning competencies in the material in the class VIII Excretion System in SMP 6 . This research is an experimental study with a Randomized Control Group Only Design study design. Sampling is done by using sampling technique, which is selected class VIII 2 as the experimental class and class VIII 1 as the control class. The research instrument used was the question for knowledge competence, the observation sheet for attitude competence. The hypothesis in this study was tested using a t test which was first carried out a prerequisite test, namely the normality test and homogeneity test. Based on the t-test it is known that the competencies of knowledge and competence in the attitude of > t table are (2.56> 1.67) and (5.48> 1.67). This shows that the hypothesis is accepted. So it can be concluded that the application of the cooperative learning model type Think Pair Share can improve students' learning competencies in SMP 6.

Abstract

Pembelajaran biologi yang bersifat teoritis sering menjadi permasalahan bagi siswa. Pembelajaran biologi yang memiliki banyak materi dan konsep seharusnya disajikan secara lebih sederhana dan mudah dipahami.Topik bahasan pembelajaran biologi yang banyak hanya terpusat kepada guru membuat siswa merasa cepat bosan dan kurang interaktif, akibatnya terjadi penurunan pada hasil belajar siswa. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan sebuah model pembelajaran yang membantu siswa dalam memahami pembelajaran biologi. Model pembelajaran REMAP STAD merupakan strategi pembelajaran yang membantu siswa memetakan konsep dalam materi biologi dengan membuat mind mapping serta mendorong siswa untuk lebih aktif dalam belajar dengan kegiatan diskusi kelompok. Metode yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini adalah metode meta analisis dari 20 artikel jurnal yang membahas pengaruh model pembelajaran REMAP STAD terhadap hasil belajar siswa SMA. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 5 artikel jurnal pendidikan yang memenuhi kriteria yaitu memiliki hasil pretest dan posstest. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah menghitung effect size dari setiap artikel jurnal terbitan 2019-2022. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah melihat pengaruh model pembelajaran REMAP STAD terhadap hasil belajar biologi pada aspek kognitif dan psikomotor.

Abstract

Sungai adalah sistem aliran air mulai dari mata air hingga muara, dengan potensi value dan efek eksternalitas antara hulu-hilir. Masyarakat lokal memanfaatkan alur sungai untuk pertanian dan pemukiman. UNPAB mengembangkan lahan sepanjang sungai menjadi Living Lab dan Industrial Park. Analisis air menunjukkan tingginya kadar COD dan BOD, menandakan keberadaan senyawa organik dalam air. Kualitas air sungai tergolong sedang (Kelas C) berdasarkan standar US-EPA, terutama saat hujan berkepanjangan. Meski demikian, pengelolaan air yang baik diharapkan mendukung pengembangan Living Lab dan Industrial Park sebagai pusat pembelajaran, penelitian, dan inovasi yang potensial menghasilkan pendapatan. Tema utama proyek ini melibatkan konsep Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi UNPAB, pendidikan berbasis Fitrah (Islam), dan simbiosis mutualisme ekonomi. Dengan memadukan pembelajaran lintas program yang aplikatif dan kondisi air yang jernih, proyek ini bertujuan menciptakan sebuah Living Lab dan Industrial Park yang berkelanjutan dan memberikan manfaat bagi masyarakat dan lingkungan sekitar.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana hubungan Perceived Ease of Use (PEU) dengan Attitude Toward Using (ATU) pada peserta didik pengguna Scola pembelajaran biologi di SMA Dedikasi Edukasi Kualiva. Metode penelitian ini adalah deskriptif korelasi dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Sampel penelitian diambil menggunakan teknik total sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket yang mengukur respon peserta didik terhadap PEU dan ATU terkait penggunaan Scola pembelajaran biologi. Angket ini terdiri dari 32 pernyataan yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji korelasi Pearson Product Moment, dan dilanjutkan dengan uji signifikansi menggunakan rumus t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai PEU yang diperoleh yaitu 66,67%, sedangkan nilai ATU sebesar 62,5%. Kedua nilai ini menunjukkan kategori tinggi. Terdapat hubungan positif yang kuat antara PEU dan ATU, dengan nilai korelasi (r) sebesar 0,66. Hasil uji signifikansi menunjukkan bahwa nilai thitung 5,97 dibandingkan dengan ttabel 1,679. Hal ini menunjukkan thitung ttabel, yang berarti terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara PEU dan ATU. Melalui penelitian ini kami menemukan bahwa Perceived Ease of Use (PEU) memiliki hubungan positif yang signifikan terhadap Attitude Toward Using (ATU) pada peserta didik pengguna Scola pembelajaran biologi di SMA Dedikasi Edukasi Kualiva.

Abstract

Ethnobotany is a science that studies the reciprocal relationship between people's cultures and plants. One of the examples of ethnobotany can be seen in traditional death ceremonies. The traditional death ceremony is one of the traditional ceremonies carried out by the people of Nagari Cubadak, Dua Koto District, Pasaman. This research aims to determine the plants used in traditional death ceremonies, the parts of the plants used, and their meaning in the use of plants. The method used was by conducting interviews with the community in Nagari Cubadak, Dua Koto District, Pasaman. From the research results, there are 6 plant species belonging to 6 families that are used in traditional death ceremonies.

Abstract

Based on BPS data in 2022, the second highest unemployment rate in 2021-2022 was high school graduates. This is partly due to the lack of provision of survival skills/life skills for students to face challenges in the future. The Merdeka Curriculum is a curriculum that can provide life skills and develop students' character. One of the skills that is very much needed by high school students is the skill to create opportunities and turn those opportunities into something valuable. This is closely related to the entrepreneurial spirit and attitude. Project-based learning has a major influence in honing the entrepreneurial spirit of students. This study aims to determine the level of entrepreneurial spirit of students after participating in the biology subject project at SMA Negeri 1 Guguak.This type of research is quantitative descriptive research. The research instrument used is a questionnaire. The research instrument used has been validated by two lecturers from the Department of Biology, FMIPA UNP and was tested on 30 students outside the research sample. The sample in this study were students in grades XI and XII with a total of 231 students at SMA Negeri 1 Guguak in the 2024/2025 academic year. The questionnaire distributed was an entrepreneurial spirit questionnaire after participating in a biology subject project. The research data were analyzed using percentage analysis (%) of student answers. Based on the research conducted, the value of students' entrepreneurial spirit after participating in a biology subject project was 79.50% and was included in the good category. It can be concluded that after participating in a biology subject project, it can foster students' entrepreneurial spirit which is identified through 6 main indicators, namely self-confidence, task and result orientation, daring to take risks, leadership, originality, and future orientation.

Abstract

The development of E-Modules for biology learning needs to be carried out so that the biology learning process can run more optimally. This research aims to test the feasibility of developing e-modules on biodiversity material as a learning medium. The type of research is development research using ADDIE Models. The research instruments were teacher interview guide sheets, student questionnaires, validity test questionnaires, and practicality test questionnaires. The e-module was validated by two lecturers from the Biology Department, FMIPA UNP and one biology teacher at SMAN 8 Padang. The e-module was tested on 2 biology teachers and 30 students of SMAN 8 Padang class X MIPA for the 2024/2025 academic year to test the practicality of the product being developed. The object of this research is an e-module on biodiversity material for class X SMA students. The data used in this research is primary data which is then analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. Based on the research that has been carried out, the average validation result value is 93% (very valid). The practicality test carried out on teachers obtained a result of 92% (very practical) and the practicality test carried out on students obtained a result of 91% (very practical). So, it can be concluded that the e-module on biodiversity material for class X SMA students that was developed is valid and very practical.

Abstract

Environmental damage can occur due to a person's lack of understanding about the environment, so the role of local wisdom needs to be revived to increase understanding regarding the environment. In understanding Environmental Change material, students need problem solving abilities. This problem-solving ability can be supported through problem-based learning models such as the RANDAI (Reciting, Analyzing, Narrating, Doing, Assesing & Implementing) learning model which is realized in the form of digital books. This type of research is development research using the Plomp model with preliminary research stages, prototyping phase, and assessment phase which are limited to practicality testing. The research subjects were three biology lecturers at Padang State University, two biology teachers and 26 students in class XI MIPA 3 at SMA Negeri 5 Pariaman. The instruments used were initial investigation questionnaires, self-evaluation questionnaires, expert review questionnaires, one to one evaluation questionnaires, small group evaluation questionnaires, field test questionnaires, and practicality questionnaires. Based on research conducted, the average validity value is 90.23% in the very valid category. The average practicality test by teachers and students is 88.21% in the practical category, so it can be concluded that the Digital Book Based on the Integrated RANDAI Learning Model of West Sumatra Local Wisdom on Environmental Change Material developed is very valid and practical.
