Abstract

The increase in cargo flows that are not supported by adequate port facilities has hampered the Nusantara Kendari Port logistics process. The port development strategy by relocating Nusantara port functions to Bungkutoko Port is considered a solution to the limitations of the Nusantara Port. The purpose of this study was to analyze the impact of the planned transfer of the port by observing several performance indicators. The port performance indicators used were yard occupancy ratio (YOR), berth occupancy ratio (BOR) and shed occupancy ratio (SOR). The results showed that the Nusantara Port performance indicator values before the relocation were 118.57% for YOR of container, 24.3% for YOR of general cargo, 62.55% for SOR of general cargo, 17.71% for BOR of passengers and 76.91% for BOR of container and general cargo. Whereas after the relocation there were several performance indicator values that did not reach operational performance standards. Those values were 75.37% for BOR of container in 2028, 70.96% for YOR of container in 2033 and 67.21% for SOR of general cargo in 2021. Based on the results, it was concluded that an alternative development strategy was necessary to optimize the value of Kendari Port performance indicators.

Abstract

Jalan sebagai bagian dari sistem transportasi berperanan penting dalam mendukung kegiatan perekonomian dan sosial masyarakat. Dalam hal menyediakan infrastruktur jalan yang baik perlu dilakukan penyusunan basis data. Tujuan penelitian adalah pemetaan kondisi geometrik jalan yang menghubungkan ruas Jalan Latoma - Routa Kabupaten Konawe berbasis Sistem Informasi Geografis (SIG). Hasil penelitian menunjukan berada pada ketinggian puncak sekitar 1401-1900 meter dengan luas area 8.027 Ha dan ketinggian rendah kurang dari 400 meter untuk luas area 61.652 Ha serta luas area terluas sebesar 144.092 Ha dengan ketinggian 401-900 meter, maka perlu penurunan ketinggian atau cutting agar dapat dilewati kendaraan. Pada kemiringan lereng untuk area jalan rencana dengan luas area sebesar 100.123 Ha dengan klasifikasi lereng 25-45% dikategorikan curam. Untuk area seluas 82.181 Ha dikategorikan sangat curam dengan klasifikasi lebih 46%. Untuk klasifikasi lereng yang datar memiliki luas area 16.480 Ha. Abstract

Community service activities by a team of teaching staff as one form of the tri dharma (Lecturers) of Halu Oleo University, namely carrying out community service, in carrying out community service to provide contributions in the form of knowledge about pontesi and infrastructure development to improve the welfare of the community in the sub-district Anduonohu Kendari City. Anduonohu Village is a potential area and has sufficient natural resources, in this case potential agricultural land (fertile land), but road access to the Village needs serious attention from all parties. Therefore, we, as a team of lecturers, provide service to contribute work/products and understanding to the community regarding infrastructure development, especially improving farm roads as access for community movement to support economic, social, educational and other activities. The implementation process in this service activity is an implementation technique according to the availability of resources from the service implementation team in the form of outreach to the community, farmers and local government by prioritizing science. This Community Partnership Program (PKM) is delivered in community service activities as an impact of increasing community knowledge, especially in developing infrastructure in Anduonohu Village, Kendari City. The methods used in this activity are example providing, direct or face to face discussions with the community, as well as field applications. in infrastructure development (repairing village roads). It is hoped that this service program activity can provide knowledge and understanding to the community regarding the application of science to benefit society.

Abstract

Komposit terdiri dari 2 material yang tidak homogen yakni matrix sebagai pengikat dalam hal ini resin yang dicampurkan katalis dan reinforcement sebagai penguat dalam hal ini adalah serat kaca (fiberglass) . Dengan masih kurangnya informasi terkait rasio perbandingan penggunaan katalis dan resin yang sesuai menjadi salah satu permasalahan yang harus diselesaikan karena jika penggunaan katalis terlalu banyak maka akan memberikan panas yang berlebih pada material namun jika diberikan terlalu sedikit maka dapat mengurangi fungsi katalis sebagai penguat. Pengrajin usaha kapal di daerah Bau bau hanya berdasarkan pengalaman selama ini dalam mencampur resin dan katalis dalam proses pembuatannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan rasio perbandingan penggunaan katalis dan resin yang sesuai sehingga didapatkan hasil pembuatan kapal yang baik, kuat secara struktur serta layak secara ekonomi dan dapat diterapkan pada masyarakat. Berdasarkan hasil kajian penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa bahan komposit fiberglass dengan jumlah katalis 1% memiliki nilai kekuatan tarik sebesar 3034 N dengan tegangan sebesar 202 N/mm2 . Komposit dengan jumlah katalis 1,25 % memiliki kekuatan tarik yang paling besar yakni 3227 N dan tegangan sebesar 215 N/mm2. Komposit dengan jumlah katalis 1,5 % memiliki kekuatan tarik sebesar 2462 N dan tegangan sebesar 164 N/mm2. Komposit dengan jumlah katalis 1,75 % memiliki kekuatan tarik sebesar 2368 N dan tegangan sebesar 157 N/mm2. Kekuatan tarik komposit fiberglass mengalami peningkatan di jumlah katalis 1 % hingga 1,25% dan mengalami penurunan di jumlah katalis 1,5% sampai 2%.

Abstract

The development of road infrastructure plays a crucial role in supporting economic growth and improving community welfare. One of the important indicators that need to be analyzed in the context of road infrastructure development is Vehicle Operating Cost (VOC). With the construction of new road sections, there is significant potential for changes in VOC. Several factors that can affect VOC due to new road construction include improved road quality, reduced congestion, and changes in travel distance. This study aims to analyze the impact of new road construction on VOC. The research will explore to what extent the new road construction can provide cost efficiency for vehicle users. The method used to analyze Vehicle Operating Cost (VOC) is the travel speed method developed by PT Jasa Marga in collaboration with LAPI ITB. Based on the analysis, the VOC savings is the difference between the VOC of the existing Latoma-Routa road section and the VOC of the new Latoma-Routa road section. This cost saving is the benefit value of the construction of the new Latoma-Routa road section due to the travel distance savings of 145.27 km from Latoma to Routa or vice versa. Based on the analysis results, the VOC savings for motorcycles is Rp. 97,177 per vehicle, for cars is Rp. 912,987 per vehicle, and for trucks is Rp. 1,198,907 per vehicle.

Abstract

Keselamatan berlayar merupakan aspek yang sangat penting dalam industri pelayaran karena melibatkan keselamatan nyawa manusia, perlindungan lingkungan, dan keamanan aset maritim. Dalam aspek perlindungan nyawa, peraturan terkait keselamatan berlayar telah sejak lama disusun dalam berbagai regulasi internasional maupun nasional diberbagai tingkat pemangku kebijakan. Berdasarakan data KNKT hingga tahun 2017 kapal penumpang merupakan salah satu kapal dengan tingkat kecelakaan kapal tertinggi di Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat pemahaman penumpang terhadap instrumen mitigasi risiko pelayaran, khususnya alat keselamatan jiwa dan prosedur evakuasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman yang baik terhadap alat keselamatan jiwa yakni sebesar 38,77% responden, sementara 44,31% tidak memiliki pemahaman yang memadai, dan 16,92% lainnya merasa ragu-ragu. Untuk prosedur evakuasi, 39,33% responden memiliki pemahaman yang baik, hampir setara dengan 39,67% responden yang tidak memahami, sedangkan 21% menyatakan keraguan. Hal tersebut menunjukan perlunya upaya untuk meningkatkan pemahaman penumpang terhadap alat keselamatan jiwa dan prosedur evakuasi.
