Abstract

The purpose of this article is to examine the role of digital media information technology on student learning motivation through several research focuses 1). Types of Digital Media Technology in Schools to Increase Student Motivation. 2). The Influence of Digital Media Technology Users on Student Motivation Levels. 3). Challenges Faced by Students in Using Digital Media. The method used is literature by analyzing relevant literature. The results of this research confirm that the existence of information technology in the form of digital media can increase students' motivation to learn, students are becoming more active in increasing their knowledge, not only relying on the teacher's explanations in class, but students are active in searching for information themselves, creating work, with digital media it can make access easier. lessons, can encourage students to learn independently so that it can foster widespread student learning motivation. However, the use of digital media requires strict control so that it does not have a negative impact on students' creative development.

Abstract

This study examines prenatal education within the Pelet Petteng tradition from the perspective of traditional birth attendants (dukun kandungan) in Sana Daja Village, Pasean, Pamekasan. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews with key informants, direct observations, and literature studies. The findings indicate that traditional birth attendants play a crucial role in pregnancy and childbirth through rituals such as prenatal massage, prayers, and herbal remedies. The community's trust in traditional birth attendants is influenced by cultural factors, limited access to modern healthcare facilities, emotional closeness, and affordability. Despite the availability of modern healthcare services, the villagers tend to prefer traditional birth attendants due to their deep understanding of local traditions and customs. This study highlights the importance of collaboration between traditional birth attendants and medical professionals to improve maternal and child healthcare services in rural communities while preserving local traditions.

Abstract

TThe pesantren aims to foster religious values, shape character, and teach knowledge, ethics, and independence through a unique system and varied curriculum to produce a morally upright Muslim generation. The research aims to describe the challenges and hopes of education in pesantren. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a literature study approach. Data collection techniques include documentation study, and data processing involves reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Research results show that challenges in pesantren involve patience, sincerity, and obedience. Patience is important in facing tests and regulations, sincerity directs actions to Allah, and obedience reflects the character of the students. The hope of pesantren is to produce graduates who are beneficial to society. Students are expected to turn fatigue into worship, gain beneficial knowledge, and dedicate themselves to the kyai with sincerity. Beneficial knowledge and barakah dedication are signs of success, forming morally upright, independent, and socially responsible students. These three elements shape a resilient and pious character. Conclusion: The challenges and hopes of pesantren shape students to be morally upright, knowledgeable, independent, and pious.

Abstract

Acorus calamus L. is a medicinal plant with rhizomes commonly used in traditional medicine. This study aimed to determine the total flavonoid content, toxicity, and antibacterial activity of isolates from the rhizome of Acorus calamus L. The rhizome extract was sonicated using 70% ethanol, yielding 18.73% (w/w), and partitioned using ethyl acetate, yielding 10.80% (w/w). Subsequently, the ethyl acetate fraction was further separated using column chromatography. FTIR analysis of the ethanol extract, ethyl acetate fraction, and column isolates confirmed the presence of O–H functional groups and other vibrations, indicating the presence of flavonoid compounds. UV analysis revealed absorption at the band I (302, 302, 383 nm) and band II (253, 254, 258 nm). The total flavonoid content of the isolates, determined using AlCl3, was 32.95 mg QE/g. Liquid Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (LC-MS) analysis of the column chromatography isolates identified the presence of isorhamnetin, quercetin, genistein, and glycitein. Furthermore, toxicity and antibacterial activity tests on the ethanol extract and ethyl acetate fraction showed LC50 values of 143.53 ppm and 41.16 ppm, respectively, and inhibition zone diameters ranging from 2.30-4.54 mm and 2.63-5.29 mm, respectively.

Abstract

This empowerment initiative aims to emphasize the importance of using teaching aids in mathematics education to enhance students' numerical literacy in elementary schools. Numerical literacy is a fundamental aspect of primary education, yet Indonesian students remain below the international average in this skill. Monotonous teaching strategies and the lack of teaching aids contribute to the low numerical literacy levels among students. This community service program seeks to improve the quality of education in remote areas by supporting the enhancement of students' numerical literacy through the use of mathematical teaching aids. The methods employed include planning through Focus Group Discussions (FGDs), followed by Classroom Action Research, which is implemented in three stages: socialization, training, mentoring, and evaluation. The planning stage involves collaboration among three key stakeholders: the Community Service Team, the school, and students' parents/guardians. The socialization and training phase includes hands-on activities where students create their own teaching aids, culminating in a mathematics teaching aid festival. The evaluation process is conducted through observations, interviews, discussions, and surveys. Evaluation results based on teachers' responses indicate improvements in students' understanding of mathematical concepts, enthusiasm, and creativity. Therefore, this program has effectively enhanced students' numerical literacy through the use of mathematical teaching aids. Sustained collaboration between schools, university students, and the education community is essential to ensure the program's continuity

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa kelas I SDN Pajurangan Kabupaten Probolinggo pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Metode yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK), dengan tujuan meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Subjek penelitian adalah 14 siswa kelas I, terdiri dari 6 perempuan dan 8 laki-laki. Penelitian dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, masing-masing terdiri dari empat komponen utama: perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, evaluasi, dan refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, tes, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa. Aktivitas belajar siswa meningkat dari 59% pada siklus 1 menjadi 81% pada siklus 2. Hasil belajar siswa juga menunjukkan peningkatan, dengan rata-rata nilai pre-test sebesar 70,71, meningkat menjadi 77,86 pada siklus 1, dan mencapai 89,5 pada siklus 2. Kesimpulannya, penggunaan media big book efektif dalam meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa kelas I SDN Pajurangan Kabupaten Probolinggo. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi bagi pengembangan strategi pembelajaran yang lebih efektif dan inovatif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan membaca siswa. Abstract

Nurul Jadid Islamic Boarding School plays a strategic role in building the character of the young generation in the modern era. This Islamic boarding school applies a holistic educational approach that includes intellectual, emotional, social, and spiritual aspects. The methods used, such as instilling religious values, personal interaction between caregivers and students, and extracurricular activities, have proven effective in forming the character of students who are noble and resilient in facing the challenges of the times. However, Islamic boarding schools also face significant challenges, including the influence of digital culture, the need to adapt to technology, and rapid social change. Nevertheless, Nurul Jadid Islamic Boarding School is able to answer these challenges through curriculum innovation, technology integration in learning, and a balance between tradition and modernity. The relevance of Islamic boarding schools in the digital era is strengthened by their ability to utilize technology as a means of education and provision of global skills. Islamic boarding schools not only maintain the core values of Islam but also provide students with relevant skills and insights to compete in the worldwide world. In conclusion, Nurul Jadid Islamic Boarding School has succeeded in becoming a model educational institution that integrates Islamic traditions with modernity. It remains relevant and contributes significantly to forming a young generation that is religious, intelligent, and ready to face the digital era. This study confirms that Islamic boarding schools can be a solution to building a generation with character amidst the challenges of globalization and technological developments.

Abstract

The learning model used by the teacher is one of the factors that influence student learning outcomes. If the teacher in learning only applies one learning model, students will get bored in participating in learning. Boredom of students will reduce their learning motivation and reduce their learning outcomes. The problem that arises at MTs Hidayah Probolinggo is the low student learning outcomes in Mathematics. This is indicated by the low percentage of students who achieve KKM scores, some students who do not pay attention to the teacher while teaching, namely chatting with friends, falling asleep, playing with their stationery, etc. The results of interviews with several students, obtained information that the teacher taught using the lecture method only, which made them feel bored. From the results of the interviews with the teacher, information was obtained that the teacher taught using the lecture, question and answer and assignment methods, and the teacher had never used the cooperative learning model. This is due to the teacher's lack of understanding of various kinds of learning models. The purpose of this activity is to add to the teacher's insight about learning models that are able to activate students in learning by providing assistance to teachers in implementing cooperative learning. The implementation of this activity includes two activities, namely the socialization of cooperative learning models, which is carried out in a classical manner, to broaden teachers' insights about cooperative learning models and assistance in preparing lesson plans using cooperative learning models and their application in classroom learning, which is carried out individually. The achievement of this activity was that 100% of Hidayat's MIS teachers attended and were active in socialization activities of cooperative learning models, 83.3% of teacher-made lesson plans with cooperative learning model syntax and 84.2% of implementing cooperative learning according to lesson plans. Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurangnya keaktifan peserta didik dalam pembelajaran, materi majas personifikasi belum diajarkan secara maksimal, peserta didik merasa kesulitan pada saat menentukan kalimat yang mengandung majas personifikasi. Terbatasnya multimedia interaktif materi majas khusus untuk siswa kelas IV SD serta media pembelajaran yang belum variasi. Tujuan pengembangan ini untuk menghasilkan produk berupa multimedia interaktif berbasis Articulate Storyline 3 materi majas personifikasi siswa kelas IV yang teruji kelayakan, kepraktisan, efektivitas berdasarkan penilaian dari ahli media,materi,praktisi pembelajaran, respon peserta didik serta hasil belajar.  Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan deskriptif prosedural , menggunakan langkah-langkah milik Borg & Gall dengan modifikasi, diantaranya yaitu: studi pendahuluan, pengembangan desain pembelajaran, pengembangan produk, validasi dan uji coba terbatas, revisi produk akhir. Instrumen yang digunakan meliputi: lembar validasi ahli media, materi, praktisi pembelajaran, angket respon siswa serta hasil pretest&postest.  Hasil penelitian validasi ahli media sebesar 90%, ahli materi sebesar 97,7%, praktisi pembelajaran sebesar 96%, respon peserta didik sebesar 94,6%, persentase hasil belajar sebesar 80,7%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, Pengembangan multimedia interaktif berbasis articulate storyline 3 materi majas personifikasi Kelas IV telah valid karena persentase melebihi 81%, praktis, efektif dalam meningkakan hasil belajar. Oleh karena itu media dikatakan sangat layak dan dapat digunakan dalam proses belajar mengajar.

Abstract

Suatu alat yang dapat membantu kegiatan belajar mengajar sehingga apa yang dipaparkan lebih mudah dipahami dan jelas adalah media pembelajaran. Pembelajaran yang tercapai dengan efektif dan efesien merupakan tujuan pendidikan. Dengan memakai media pembelajaran dapat menarik perhatian dan motivasi belajar peserta didik. Reseach and Development ( R & D) merupakan metode yang digunakan saat penelitian. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembanagn ADDIE yang terdiri dari 5 fase yaitu analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi dan evaluasi. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu lembar validasi ahli media dan ahli materi, lembar kepraktisan pembelajaran dan angket respon siswa. Dari hasil penelitian tersebut menyatakan bahwa media yang dikembangkan valid dan praktis dengan revisi. Hasil penelitian dan pengembangan Majalah Pintar Edukatif  Berbasis Proyek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5) Pada Materi Kenampakan Matahari Dan Cuaca Kelas II di SD Namira telah valid dan praktis. Tingkat kevalidan mencapai 84,05%, tingkat kepraktisan mencapai 72,9%, dan tingkat kemenarikan mencapai 96,9 %. Maka dari itu, media dinyatakan memadai dan bisa dimanfaatkan pada kegiatan belajar yang berlaku. Berlandaskan mengenai itu, peneliti di anjurkan meluaskan media lebih unggul untuk perkembangan pendidikan.
