Abstract

With environmental challenges on the rise, public awareness to conserve nature is of paramount importance. The Eco-Info Board was designed as an engaging informative media, conveying environmental issues, including the negative impact of littering and the importance of environmentally friendly practices. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Eco-Info Board in increasing the environmental awareness of the community of Desa Adat Tenganan Pegringsinga n, Kec. Manggis, Kab. Karang Asem, Prov. Bali, in 2024. The method used is quantitative with a pre-experimental design, observing one group after being given treatment. Sampling was conducted using purposive sampling technique, involving 51 respondents from the Tenganan Traditional Village community. The research instrument consisted of observation and questionnaire, with 16 statements tested. The results of this analysis show that the value of Asymp.Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000, which means rejecting H0 and accepting Ha, so it can be concluded that visual education based on Eco-Info Board has a positive influence on environmental awareness. The program successfully raises people's awareness to preserve and protect the environment as an expression of respect for God and nature. Hopefully, this research can provide a deeper understanding to the community about the dangers of littering and encourage their active participation in keeping the environment clean.

Abstract

Indonesia is known as a multicultural country that is rich with various tribes, religions and tastes. However, considering the abundant cultural, cultural and religious diversity throughout Indonesia, the Indonesian people have an urgent responsibility to strengthen the values ​​of tolerance and harmony between people. .Internalization of Religious Moderation Through the Munjungan Tradition. The first stage carried out was to determine the theme, namely the internalization of religious moderation through the munjungan tradition in the sawur village of Bulusari, with research objectives (1) the process of internalization of religious moderation, (1) supporting and inhibiting factors in the Munjungan tradition in Suwur Hamlet, Bulusari Village, District. Tarokan, Kab. Kediri. So this research uses a descriptive qualitative approach using social interaction theory to study it in depth. The research results show that the munjungan tradition has an important role in the process of internalizing various modes of moderation, namely respecting differences in beliefs, respecting religious plurality, attitudes of tolerance, building harmonious relationships and reducing conflict.

Abstract

تتضمن هذه الدراسة على قيمة اهتمام تفسير إرشاد العقل السليم بقضية وضع الإظهار مكان الإضمار، فهذا التفسير له منهج الذي التزم به في عرض هذه القضية. من أهداف هذه الدراسة إبراز منهج أبي السعود في عرض القضية وضع الظاهر مكان الضمير، ومعرفة الآيات التي فيها وضع الظاهر مكان الضمير، والوقوف على الأغراض في قضية وضع الظاهر مكان الضمير عند أبي السعود. وهذه الدراسة استعملت المنهج التحليلي لما لها من الإقامة بتركيب الأفكار وتقويمها ورجوع العناصر إلى أصولها وتتبعها في التأثير على من جاء بعده. واستنجت هذه الدراسة على أن هناك تقريبا بضعة مواضع التي تكلم صاحب إرشاد العقل السليم بقضية موضع الإظهار مكان الإضمار، كما بين أن هناك الأغراض المختلفة لهذا الوجه البلاغي من خلال سورة يونس إلى سورة يوسف

Abstract

The background of this study is the high level of student misbehavior that disrupts the learning process. The tendency of misbehavior can be overcome with the right counseling approach and technique. Behavioral counseling with self-management techniques. The main objective of the study was to analyze the effect of behavioral counseling with self-management techniques in reducing the tendency of misbehavior, and to explore differences in influence based on gender. The type of research used was an experiment with a "Post-test Only Control Group Design" design. The subjects of the study were 65 grade X students from a total population of 432 students, divided into experimental and control groups. Data were collected through questionnaires, interviews, and observations, with instruments that had been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis was carried out using two-way analysis of variance (Two Way ANOVA). The results showed a significant effect of behavioral counseling with self-management techniques in reducing the tendency of misbehavior, with an F count of 881.482 and a significance of 0.001. In addition, male students showed a higher level of misbehavior than female students. In conclusion, behavioral counseling with self-management techniques is effective in reducing students' misbehavior tendencies.

Abstract

Another aspect of Ramadan that is regulated by Islamic law is the concept and practice of welcoming the month of Ramadhan. This article aims to analyze what the concept and practice of welcoming Ramadhan should be. This article is written using a qualitative method with the type of living Quran and hadith research, the data sources are taken from the Quran and hadith, the results of ijtihad, the opinions of experts. In addition, the author also strengthens data sources from various previous research results that have been published in reputable international journals. All the data above were analyzed thematically using Milles and Huberman's interactive analysis technique. The results of the analysis show that there are eight concepts in welcoming Ramadhan. There are three concepts and six practices in Muslim communities that are ways to welcome the month of Ramadhan. This research can be used as a reference for further research on Islamic studies, encourage public awareness that the blessing of Ramadhan is more important than just carrying out traditions that do not necessarily bring blessings and become a guide for Muslims in welcoming Ramadhan as a special month in a special way.

Abstract

Moderation is a middle-class attitude and view (wasatiyah) that is not excessive, not extreme and not radical (tatharruf). It is stated as in Q.S. al-Baqarah: 143. This paper discusses the principle of moderation (an aspect of al-wasatiyyah) in Islamic social concepts. The author emphasizes the concept of moderation in tradition like a platform to combat extremism in multi-religious and multi-racial societies. The fact that moderation as a concept is found in other religions and traditions, it justifies the idea that moderation enters into universal notions. The author uses descriptive, analytical and textual qualitative methodologies applied to written material related to the subject matter. The findings reveal that religious leaders thoroughly consider concepts in their discourse. Some universal shared values, such as fairness, balance, and patience can be found in both traditions and are useful in deradicalizing existing potentials and extremists.

Abstract

The Islamic concept of wasatiyyah is reflected in the Qur’an that states the Muslim community as ummatan wasatan. It means that Muslim should be in the middle path in many aspects of live, which avoid from the extremist and neglecting. In doing so, education plays a significant role to promote the concept of wasatiyyah. However, its neglected from the teaching and learning of Islamic education. This study aimed to explore the implementation of wasatiyyah course in Universitas Islam Internasional Indonesia. The study conducted qualitatively with a case study research design in investigating students’ perspectives on the wasatiyyah course. A total of four participants from different faculties and countries are participated in this study. The data was collected through semi-structured interview and analyzed with the Miles and Huberman framework. Overall, the result of the study shows that student perceive positively towards the course of wasatiyyah Islam. In addition, the study also demonstrates students’ reflection on the practice of the concept wasatiyyah in plural context. Hence, it recommended reimaging the concept of wasatiyyah in Islamic universities by implementing the idea into course subject to promote the tolerance and harmony within the diversity

Abstract

This study examines the phenomenon of dream interpretation among Generation Z, which has undergone a significant transformation in the digital era. With the widespread use of platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, and dream interpretation apps, young people are increasingly moving away from classical methods based on traditional Islamic texts and religious authorities. This research applies a qualitative approach through digital content analysis, a survey of 200 respondents aged 15–25, and case studies on five popular dream interpretation applications. The findings reveal that dream interpretation patterns are dominated by modern symbols such as social media, gadgets, and popular psychology. Approximately 68% of respondents prefer digital interpretations over consultations with religious scholars, and there is a rise in trends such as "instant interpretation" via chatbots or Google search. On the other hand, the prevalence of negative interpretations can trigger spiritual anxiety. These findings suggest that digital platforms are not only reshaping how Gen Z understands dreams but are also reconstructing religious experiences to be more personal and immediate, albeit with the risk of spiritual misinformation. This study recommends fostering digital literacy and developing credible Islamic content to address this phenomenon educationally.

Abstract

This study aims to deconstruct gender narratives in Islamic jurisprudence (fiqh) textbooks used in Indonesian Islamic senior high schools (madrasah aliyah), utilizing the post-structuralist framework of Jacques Derrida. The research focuses on three core fiqh texts widely referenced in the religious curriculum: Fathul Qarib, Fathul Mu’in, and Kifayatul Akhyar. Employing textual analysis through close reading and Derridean deconstruction, combined with semi-structured interviews with five curriculum authors and analysis of the 2013–2025 national curriculum documents, the study reveals underlying patriarchal biases embedded in the structure of language and classical legal concepts. Findings indicate a problematic binary hierarchy in the portrayal of gender roles, where men are associated with leadership, rationality, and authority, while women are depicted as emotionally unstable, dependent, and confined to domestic spheres. Moreover, the research identifies aporias or internal contradictions in concepts such as qiwamah (male guardianship), nusyuz (disobedience), and wilayatul nikah (marital guardianship), suggesting the possibility of more egalitarian reinterpretations. The study concludes by recommending a revision of religious textbooks to incorporate critical gender perspectives and urges the implementation of teacher training programs in contemporary hermeneutical methods to foster a more equitable and inclusive approach to Islamic education.

Abstract

Academic resilience is a student's ability to face academic difficulties, persist, and recover from failure. This study aims to test the effectiveness of group counseling in improving the academic resilience of eleventh-grade students at UISU Siantar High School. The method used was a quasi-experimental with a pre-test post-test one group design. The research subjects were 10 students with low to moderate levels of academic resilience, selected using a purposive sampling technique. The research instrument used an academic resilience scale based on Martin and Marsh's theory consisting of 25 valid items with a Cronbach's Alpha reliability of 0.876. The group counseling intervention was conducted in four sessions with an approach that focused on developing self-efficacy, adaptive help-seeking, self-regulation, and persistence. The results showed a significant increase in students' academic resilience after participating in group counseling, with a paired sample t-test showing a value of t = -2.858 and p = 0.019 (p < 0.05). The empirical mean increased from 73,200 in the pretest to 80,200 in the posttest, with a hypothetical mean of 62,500. Thus, group counseling proved effective as an intervention method to help students cope with academic stress and increase learning motivation. This study provides practical implications for guidance and counseling teachers in developing systematic intervention programs to improve students' academic resilience.
