Abstract

For the Cattle Harvesting maize Crops Program in East Nusa Tenggara, maize seeds are supplied by the Tarus Food Crops Seed Center. The effectiveness of the use of fertilizers is still a problem, especially subsidized inorganic fertilizers. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy of using inorganic fertilisers to boost the production of lamuru corn seed variants at the Tarus Food Crop Seed Center. This study used descriptive qualitative and Likert scale data analysis techniques. The Tarus Food Crop Seed Center measured the effectiveness of using inorganic fertilisers using a likert scale (4T), and the results showed that the right type and dose fell into the appropriate category, receiving a score of 3 and a percentage of 21%, while the right time and method fell into the very appropriate category, receiving a score of 4 and a percentage of 29%.

Abstract

Horticultural commodities, especially fruits, can be a source of increasing income for farmers in West Miomaffo District. This study aims to determine the main commodity of fruit in Eban Village, West Miomaffo District. The implementation of this research is from June to September 2021. The number of samples of this research is 20. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative analysis with the Dynamic Location Quotient (DLQ) and Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) methods. The results showed that the potential fruit commodities in Eban Village were oranges, mangoes, avocados, and jackfruit. Oranges are the most superior fruit commodity in Eban Village with a weight value of 45.0%.

Abstract

PT Maspete Organik Kufeu is an industry that implements organic farming patterns for moringa plant commodities that are managed organically. This study aims to determine the benefits obtained from processing Moringa Leaves into Moringa Tisan in the PT Maspete Organik Kufeu industry and to analyze the amount of added value of Moringa Tisan in the PT Maspete Organik Kufeu industry. The type of research used in this study is a case study with a quantitative descriptive approach. The results of the study show that: 1). The total cost incurred in one production process is IDR 3,125,000.00, the amount of income obtained in one month of production is IDR 5,100,000.00 and the amount of income obtained is IDR 1,975,000.00. 2). The added value of Moringa leaves into Moringa leaf Tisan in one production is 51.02% (high category) while the labor margin is 15.62%, the margin for other input contributions is 44.95% and the entrepreneur's profit margin is 39.43% which means that the margin for labor profits is smaller than the entrepreneur's profit margin and other input contributions.

Abstract

Tofu is an easily accessible and cheap source of vegetable protein. The tofu industry in Kota Kefamenanu District is experiencing quite rapid development. This research aims to determine the market structure of the tofu industry in Kota Kefamenanu District. The sample was determined using a saturated sampling technique of 7 tofu industrial business units in the Kefamenanu City sub-district which includes villages (Tubuhue, Sasi, South Kefa, Maubeli and Central Kefa). The data analysis method used is a qualitative descriptive method, Market Structure (Market Share, Concentration Ratio, Herfindahl Hirschman Index). Based on the research results, the market structure of the tofu industry in Kota Kefamenanu sub-district is known to be controlled by a large market share with the highest level of market share control (MS) in UD. Sumber Hidup with a value of 23.9 % , while the lowest market share (MS) in the alpha omega industry has a value of 4.2%. Research on the concentration ratio of three companies (CR3) produces a tofu industry value of 60.6 % , so it can be seen that the value is 0.4≤ CR3 0.8. Meanwhile, from the results of the Herfindahl Hirschman Index calculation, a value of 1735.4 % was obtained , meaning that the IHH value ranges between 1000-2500 or 0 IHH, so the tofu industrial market in Kota Kefamenanu District is in the Oligopoly market type..

Abstract

This activity was carried out using a participatory action research method, namely jointly determining solutions based on the urgency and priority of the problem which was preceded by an initial situation analysis. Furthermore, activities in the field take the form of lectures/counseling, training/demonstrations to improve the group's abilities and skills. The focus of activities is on semen collection, artificial insemination, egg hatching, crumb and pellet making, vaccination, and the starter, grower and pullet maintenance phase and income analysis. Assistance and evaluation of activities is carried out in stages. The impact of this service is an increase in the group's skills in artificial insemination of hens, hatching eggs using a hatching machine, making their own feed in the form of crumbs and pellets, raising chicks in brooding, vaccination, maintaining the grower phase, and being able to analyze business income. At the end of the activity, the partner group can reproduce brood hens for further exposure and development. Group welfare also increases due to additional profits. With a rearing volume of 200 bird, the partner group makes a profit of Rp. 10,240,000 from DOC maintenance until 4-5 months of age.

Abstract

Coffee consumption in Indonesia is quite large, this is due to the people's habit that in every activity coffee is the main drink. Coffee consumption in the people of Kefamenanu City is increasing so much that coffee drinks are prioritized when entertaining guests in today's society. This research was conducted at Cafe Xpresso in Kota Kefamenanu District, North Central Timor Regency. The population in this research is the number of residents in North Central Timor Regency as consumers with a total of 239,829 people. The sampling technique in this research used a purposive sampling method of 150 respondents. The objectives of this research are: 1) To find out the factors that influence consumers' decisions in consuming coffee at Cafe Xpresso. 2) To determine the competitiveness of Cafe Xpresso in Kota Kefamenanu District. The data analysis method used is Logistic Regression which is used to analyze coffee consumer decisions and the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) Matrix is ​​used to analyze the level of market growth and relative market share. The results of the research are based on Logistic Regression calculations using SPSS version 22 software data, it is known that the factors that have a significant influence on consumer interest in consuming coffee at Café Xpresso are age, product quality and service quality. Meanwhile, those that do not have a significant influence on consumers' decisions in consuming coffee at Café Xpresso are price, location, place design, taste, menu variations and cleanliness. Based on the results of BCG's analysis, it is known that the 2021 market growth rate is 12.75%, the market share is 3.68 times, and in 2022 the market growth rate is 11.09%, the market share is 1.11 times. So it can be seen that Café Xpresso is in quadrant II (stars) position, which means that Café This research also contains 5 marketing strategies, namely: Product Development, Price, Promotion, Place/Location and Expanding Market Size.

Abstract

Dragon fruit plants are one of the plants that have very high economic value, dragon fruit plants are also very helpful in improving the economy both at the regional and national levels. The purpose of this study was to determine; 1) the benefits of dragon fruit farming in Nunmafo Village; and 2) the competitiveness of dragon fruit farming in Nunmafo Village. The analysis method used in this study is the PAM (Policy Analysis Matrix) analysis method. The results of the study showed that; 1) Dragon fruit farming in Nunmafo Village has a profit where the private profit is 34,072,000 and the social profit is 13,447,000 and 2) Dragon fruit farming in Nunmafo Village has competitiveness because the RBP (Private Cost Ratio) value is 0.47 and the RBSP (Domestic Resource Cost Ratio) is 0.69. Government policy can be seen in the PAM (Policy Analysis Matrix) analysis ratio, namely the nominal input protection coefficient (KPIN) of 0.65, the nominal output protection coefficient (KPON) of 1.25, the effective protection coefficient (KPN) of 1.47, the profit coefficient (KK) of 2.53, and the producer subsidy ratio (RSP) of 0.34.

Abstract

Desa Fatutasu yang terletak di Kecamatan Miomaffo Barat menyimpan potensi sumber daya yang dapat dimanfaatkan untuk pembuatan pakan ternak unggas (ayam petelur) berbasis limbah pertanian ataupun limbah dapur berupa sisa sayur-sayuran . Pemanfaatan limbah rumah tangga dan usahatani dapat membantu mencukupi kebutuhan petani-peternak terkait pakan ternak. Pengembangan usaha ayam petelur tersebut harus didukung dengan pengembangan industri pakan melalui optimalisasi pemanfaatan sumber-sumber bahan baku lokal spesifik lokasi dan berorientasi pada pola integrasi tanaman-ternak. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah untuk memberikan pelatihan dan informasi kepada mitra dan masyarakat tentang pemanfaatan limbah dapur dan limbah pertanian untuk diolah menjadi pakan ternak sehingga petani mitra dapat tercukupi kebutuhan akan pakan ternak dan nilai tambah lainnya adalah masyarakat dapat menjadi produsen pakan yang bernilai jual sehingga menghasilkan keuntungan untuk masyarakat. Metode yang digunakan adalah transfer knowledge yang disajikan dalam kegiatan penyuluhan dan demo plotting. Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini direncanakan akan dilaksanakan dalam waktu empat bulan (terdiri dari empat tahap, yaitu tahap persiapan, transfer knowledge melalui kegiatan penyuluhan, demo plotting, dan pendampingan). Dari hasil pengamatan, anggota Kelompok Tani UNUM yang menjadi sasaran kegiatan pengabdian sangat antusias dalam proses demo serta diskusi.

Abstract

The use of fertilizers by rice farmers in Oekolo Village is subsidized fertilizer provided by the government. The types of subsidized fertilizers provided are Urea and NPK. Urea and NPK fertilizers experience a shortage of fertilizers at certain times. This study aims to determine the scarcity of subsidized fertilizers and preferences for purchasing and using subsidized fertilizers for rice farmers in Oekolo Village. Data collection techniques in this study are primary data and secondary data. The population in the study was 260 people and the samples were taken using purposive sampling method as many as 150 people. The analysis used in this research is descriptive analysis and logistic regression analysis. The results of the analysis of this study indicate that education, experience, land area, subsidized fertilizer proposals in the RDKK do not match the amount of distribution, the dose of subsidized fertilizer use is not as recommended, and the pattern of fertilizer distribution affects the scarcity of subsidized fertilizer for rice farmers in Oekolo Village. Logistic regression analysis for the purchase of subsidized fertilizers shows that the variables of land area, access to information, and the right six have a significant effect on preferences for purchasing subsidized fertilizers, while the results of logistic regression analysis for the use of subsidized fertilizers show that the variables of education, land area, and access to information have a significant effect on preferences. the use of subsidized fertilizers for rice farmers in Oekolo Village.Keywords: Scarcity, Use, Subsidized Fertilizer, Food
