Abstract

The development of global trade has led to the emergence of cross-border insolvency, where the debtor’s assets are scattered in several countries and create legal challenges for curators in executing bankruptcy estates. Indonesia, which still adheres to the territoriality principle under Law Number 37 of 2004, faces significant barriers in recognizing and enforcing foreign bankruptcy decisions, resulting in ineffective cross-jurisdictional asset resolution and losses for creditors. This research employs a normative juridical method and a comparative approach by examining the implementation of the UNCITRAL Model Law on Cross-Border Insolvency in South Korea. The findings show that legal harmonization through the adoption of the Model Law can strengthen the curator’s authority in executing assets across jurisdictions, as well as enhance legal certainty and creditor protection. It is recommended that Indonesia undertake bankruptcy law reform by adopting the principles of the UNCITRAL Model Law as an effort to modernize its national insolvency regime in response to global trade dynamics.

Abstract

Purpose: This study applies the stimulus–organism–response (S-O-R) framework to examine how Social Media Marketing Effectiveness (SMME) influences iPhone repurchase intention among Generation Z consumers in Indonesia, focusing on the mediating roles of Fear of Missing Out (FOMO), social comparison, and materialism. Methodology: Data were collected through an online questionnaire distributed to 285 Indonesian iPhone users who actively used social media. The proposed model was tested using Structural Equation Modeling with the Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) approach via SmartPLS. Results: The findings indicate that SMME significantly enhances FOMO, whereas social comparison positively influences both FOMO and materialism. However, FOMO did not significantly affect repurchase intention. In contrast, materialism has a significant positive effect on repurchase intention, indicating that it represents a stronger and more stable psychological pathway for repeat purchasing behavior than FOMO. Conclusions: The results suggest that while social media marketing can activate short-term emotional responses such as FOMO, more enduring value orientations such as materialism play a more decisive role in shaping repurchase intentions for high-involvement symbolic products such as iPhones. Limitations: This study relied on cross-sectional, self-reported data from Indonesian consumers, which limits causal inference and generalizability to other product categories or cultural contexts. Contributions: This study extends the S-O-R framework by contrasting short-term affective and long-term value-based psychological mechanisms in explaining repurchase intention, offering both theoretical insights and practical guidance for social media marketing strategies.

Abstract

This study aims to map the impact of Augmented reality in biology learning and to identify factors influencing variations in research findings. The study employed a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method following the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines. Research data were collected from Google Scholar and Scopus databases with a publication range from 2020 to 2025. The data collection process involved article identification, duplicate removal, title and abstract screening, and full-text review using the Covidence software. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis and thematic synthesis of studies that met the inclusion criteria. The results show that among the 18 analyzed studies, 15 studies reported positive effects of Augmented reality on students’ conceptual understanding, while 3 studies showed limited effects. The findings also indicate that the effectiveness of Augmented reality is influenced by several factors, including three-dimensional visualization, students’ motivation and engagement, teachers’ roles, ease of technology use, and technological infrastructure support. Therefore, Augmented reality has strong potential as an innovative learning medium that can enhance conceptual understanding in biology learning.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesiapan karier siswa Madrasah Aliyah melalui penguatan efikasi diri dalam pengambilan keputusan karier. Kegiatan ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kondisi siswa MAN 4 Banjar yang masih mengalami kebingungan dalam menentukan pilihan studi lanjutan serta keterbatasan pemahaman diri terkait minat dan potensi karier. Program pengabdian dilaksanakan dalam bentuk psikoedukasi terstruktur melalui Program SINAR (Sesi Inspiratif dan Penguatan Rasa Percaya Diri dalam Karier) yang melibatkan 55 siswa kelas 10. Kegiatan dilaksanakan melalui tahapan persiapan, pelaksanaan psikoedukasi interaktif, dan evaluasi kegiatan. Materi yang diberikan meliputi pengenalan diri, analisis SWOT personal, johari window, serta strategi penyelarasan potensi diri dengan pilihan pendidikan lanjutan. Hasil pelaksanaan kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan efikasi diri dalam pengambilan keputusan karier (Career Decision-Making Self-Efficacy), yang terlihat dari perbandingan skor sebelum dan sesudah kegiatan dengan rata-rata meningkat dari 77,85 menjadi 89,00. Selain peningkatan skor, siswa menunjukkan pemahaman diri yang lebih baik, kejelasan dalam menentukan arah peminatan di kelas 11, serta perencanaan studi lanjutan yang lebih terarah. Kegiatan ini dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai alternatif model layanan bimbingan karier di madrasah untuk mendukung kesiapan pengambilan keputusan karier siswa.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital, khususnya media sosial, telah memengaruhi pola pikir, perilaku, dan interaksi sosial generasi milenial. Tingginya intensitas penggunaan menjadikan media sosial tidak hanya sebagai sarana komunikasi, tetapi juga sebagai pembentuk karakter dan gaya hidup. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh media sosial terhadap generasi milenial menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode regresi linier sederhana. Sampel terdiri dari 60 responden yang dipilih melalui probability sampling dengan teknik simple random sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner berdasarkan dimensi kemudahan akses, kualitas informasi, interaktivitas, frekuensi penggunaan, etika, dan kesadaran digital, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan SPSS versi 27. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai korelasi sebesar 0,543 (kategori cukup kuat). Koefisien determinasi (R²) sebesar 0,295 mengindikasikan bahwa media sosial berkontribusi 29,5% terhadap variabel generasi milenial, sementara 70,5% dipengaruhi faktor lain. Nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05 menandakan adanya pengaruh signifikan, dengan persamaan regresi Y = 33,389 + 0,414X. Implikasi penelitian menekankan pentingnya literasi digital dan kesadaran etika dalam penggunaan media sosial. Penelitian selanjutnya disarankan memperluas variabel, jumlah, dan cakupan responden agar hasil lebih komprehensif dan memiliki generalisasi lebih luas.
