Abstract

Electricity plays a vital role in human life and the economic growth of Indonesia. Therefore, a reliable electrical transmission and distribution system is essential. Transformers, especially in an industrial context, play a key role in power supply. Transformer maintenance is a critical step in maintaining a stable flow of electricity. This study adopts the Research and Development (R&D) method and focuses on measuring insulation resistance and voltage ratios in the context of transformer maintenance. The research was conducted at the Pole Transformer Substation (GTT) in P. Melati, Sidoarjo Regency, East Java, starting in August 2023. The research variables involve measuring the insulation resistance referring to IEC standards and measuring the voltage ratio to ensure proper transformer performance. The test results indicate that the insulation resistance in the transformer, both on the primary and secondary sides, meets the standards, demonstrating that the transformer functions well and safely. Voltage ratio measurements closely approximate theoretical calculations and fall within a tolerance of ± 0.5%. This study underscores the importance of transformer maintenance in maintaining a stable flow of electricity. Proper maintenance will prevent disruptions that can be detrimental, such as current leakage or short circuits. With good maintenance, the continuity of a reliable and safe electricity distribution service for consumers can be ensured. Abstract

Brushless direct current (BLDC) motor speed performance is an essential component that must be considered in the electric vehicle drive system. This research aims to obtain the transfer function from the mathematical modeling of the BLDC motor and optimization of the BLDC motor so that a high transient response is received. The method used in this study is to identify system parameters and then model them using the structure of the autoregressive exogenous (ARX) polynomial model. Meanwhile, to get a high transient response performance, optimization is done with a hybrid intelligent controller. The experimental findings indicate that the optimization process utilizing the bat method yielded the most favorable transient response. The resulting values for the proportional gain (Kp), integral gain (Ki), and derivative gain (Kd) were determined to be 31.2685, 7.7375, and -1.1934, respectively. In the current investigation, the minimum frequency value is 6381934.619. Also determined are the transient response characteristics, which include a rise time of 0.289 seconds, a settling time of 10.9 seconds, an overshoot of 3.4%, and a peak time of 1.04 seconds. Furthermore, the closed-loop system demonstrates stable behavior in terms of stability.

Abstract

Brushless Direct Current (BLDC) motor as an electric vehicle driving motor, its speed control is directly proportional to the voltage applied to its terminals. Therefore the applied average voltage or the average current flowing through the motor will change depending on the duty cycle of the ON and OFF time of the pulses, so the motor speed will change. The purpose of this research is to apply the ARM STM32F4 microcontroller to control the speed of the BLDC motor and obtain the transfer function equation of the BLDC motor. The method used in this study is an ARM STM32F4 microcontroller generating a duty cycle through Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) control which causes changes in the ON and OFF switches of the three-phase inverter. The variable change data is then modeled mathematically in the form of a transfer function using the System Identification Toolbox (SIT) application in Mathlab programming. The results of calculations and tests show that the ARM STM32F4 microcontroller functions well in regulating the rotational speed of the BLDC motor.

Abstract

Handoko, an independent nursery business actor in the village of Sidokepung, Kec Buduran, with a total of 7 nursery ponds with 2 broodstock ponds, makes the independent business developed relatively well. However, over time, the technology used in nurseries is considered outdated, this is because the seeding process carried out in nursery ponds causes many seeds that have been successfully bred to experience stress and not a few die, so the effectiveness of the seeding process is less effective. and it is necessary to apply technology to avoid stress on tillers during seeding. From these problems, firstly, the application of pond management technology has not been maximized by partners, which is marked by the number of deaths of catfish seedlings resulting from seeding, secondly, catfish chicks do not have the passion to eat due to lack of oxygen in the pond, third, pond water circulation is not carried out periodically. and contracted so that the pond water looks cloudy which causes the fish growth rate is not good, fourth, catfish chicks are difficult to grow and develop. The solution is the application of fish management technology by designing a pond by providing an aerator as a tool that functions to create air bubbles so as to guarantee the oxygen content in the pond has been met, creating a water reservoir that serves to provide a good supply of water in the pond, so that it will do the job well. periodic circulation of water in the pool and ensure the pool is clean and does not cause odor. the results obtained from solving problems, partners get better benefits and provide competitiveness in increasing the income of independent businesses that are carried out

Abstract

Prolonged labor is potentially dangerous for the mother and fetus. This can be prevented by stimulating the release of the hormone oxytocin to increase uterine contractions so that prolonged labor does not occur. So a tool is needed to stimulate the hormone oxytocin which is made as comfortable as possible. Apart from helping speed up the process of the first stage of labor, this tool can also stimulate the release of the hormone prolactin to help milk production. This system was designed using the Arduino Uno microcontroller type ESP8266, working to stimulate the nipples through vibration. From the results of this study it was found that the vibrations produced could help stimulate the release of the hormone oxytocin so that the first stage of labor took place 72.40% faster than the old theory of the first stage of labour. Highlights: Prolonged labor risks: Emphasizes the potential danger for both mother and fetus in cases of prolonged labor. Oxytocin stimulation: Highlights the importance of stimulating oxytocin release to prevent prolonged labor and promote uterine contractions. Arduino Uno and nipple vibration: Introduces the specific tool designed using Arduino Uno microcontroller and nipple vibration for oxytocin stimulation during labor. Keywords: prolonged labor, oxytocin stimulation, Arduino Uno, nipple vibration, faster labor
