Abstract

Nahwu merupakan suatu alat untuk mempermudah belajar bahasa Arab. Melalui ilmu nahwu, diharapkan santri mampu memperbaiki susunan uslub-uslub bahasa Arab. Namun, di dalam pembelajaran terdapat sebuah permasalahan mengenai minat belajar santri. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis Isi Buku Nahwu Titik Nol terhadap peningkatan minat belajar santri Manhalun Nabighin Medan. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian Kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan yaitu teknik observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi dan angket. Data dianalisis dengan cara, pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan atau verifikasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa buku Nahwu Titik Nol tersebut memenuhi kriteria buku ajar yang baik dari segi materi, segi seleksi, gradasi, dan presentasi. Selain itu, penelitian ini menghasilkan data bahwa minat belajar santri mengalami peningkatan. Hal tersebut dikarenakan pembelajaran menggunakan bantuan materi yang detail dan cara mengajar guru didalam kelas yang membuat santri bersemangat mempelajari bahasa Arab dengan baik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas salah satu bagian dari ilmu badi’ yaitu muhsinat al- ma’nawiyah yang bertujuan untuk mengetauhi keindahan makna yang terkandung dalam Al-Qur’an surah An-Naba’ ayat 6 dan 7 dengan menganalisis Al-Madzhab Al-Kalami dan Husn Al-Ta’lil pada ayat tersebut. Metode pada penelitian ini ialah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi pustaka atau library research, dengan menggali berbagai literatur terkait dalam konteks ilmu badi' dan tafsir Al-Qur'an. Sumber-sumber yang digunakan mencakup kitab-kitab atau buku klasik yang berkaitan dengan ilmu badi', serta beberapa jurnal ilmiah modern yang membahas konsep Al-Madzhab Al-Kalami dan Husn Al-Ta’lil dalam Al-Qur'an surah An-Naba' ayat 6 dan 7. Al-Madzhab Al-Kalami dan Husn Al-Ta’lil merupakan suatu makna yang logis dan mengandung keindahan. Analisis Al-Madzhab Al-Kalami dan Husn Al-Ta’lil dalam Al-Qur’an surah An-naba’ ayat 6 dan 7 terdapat pada lafadz mihād yang merupakan madzhab al-kalami dan awtād merupakan husn al-ta’lil yang secara logis dapat di artikan bahwasanya Allah swt telah menciptakan alam semesta yang teratur. Bumi dan gunung diciptakan dengan perencanaan bukan secara kebetulan. Dalam konteks keindahannya disebutkan dengan bumi adalah sebuah hamparan dan gunung adalah sebuah pasak dengan maksud bahwasanya alam semesta diciptakan untuk saling menyeimbangkan.

Abstract

Tulisan ini menganalisis thibāq di dalam surah Fāthir. Thibāq menjadi topik pembahasan sebab ia merupakan pembahasan yang unik di mana Thibāq merupakan bahasan yang di dalamnya mengkaji 2 kata yang berbeda atau saling bertolak belakang namun ia berada di dalam 1 kalimat dan juga mampu menambah estetika tulisan. Surah Fāthir menjadi “lapangan” dalam mengkaji Thibāq sebab surah ini memiliki banyak kata yang saling berlawanan sehingga perlu di kaji. Analiss Thibāq telah di analisis pada surah Āli 'Imrān,at taubah, Al-Ahzāb, al-Fath, an-Nisā’, az-Zumar, Yūsuf, dan al-Anbiyā’. Maka, tujuan dari tulisan ini adalah untuk memahami thibāq sebagai salah satu alat menuju pemahaman al-Qur’an yang baik, untuk mengetahui thibāq di dalam surah Fāthir dan menjadi tambahan referensi dalam topik Thibāq bagi para peuntut ilmu yang sedang berusaha memahami Thibāq dan sedang memahami al-Qur’an dengan ʿIlmu al-Badī’. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kualitatif dan teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu kajian pustaka (library research). Hasil dari tulisan ini adalah bahwa terdapat 15 thibāq pada surah Fāthir yang ayatnya berjumlah 45 ayat, dimana Thibāq yang terdapat pada 15 bagian surah ini merupakan Thibāq Al-Ijābī dan bentuk lafadz atau katanya ialah isim dengan isim. Adapun thibāq terdapat pada ayat 1, 3, 12, 13, 15, 19, 20, 21, 22, 24, 27, 29, 38, 41, 44

Abstract

Al-Qur’an jika dikaji dari segi sastra mengandung nilai estetika dan keindahan yang luar biasa. Ilmu-ilmu sastra dalam bahasa Arab tersebut dibahas dalam ilmu balaghah badi’. Artikel ini membahas mengenai dua pembahasan terkait ilmu balaghah badi’ dalam kajian muhassinat ma’nawiyyah, yakni mengenai At-Tauriyah dan Al-Irshad khususnya pada Al-Qur’an Surah Ar-Rahman. Metode yang digunakan dalam menganalisis terkait At-Tauriyah dan Al-Irshad pada artikel ini adalah metode kualitatif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa teknik kajian pustaka atau library research, serta data-data dalam penelitian ini didapatkan dengan mengkaji berbagai literatur yang berkaitan dengan teori. Penelitian ini juga merujuk pada kajian terdahulu yang meneliti terkait At-Tauriyah sebelumnya. Adapun hasil temuan gaya bahasa At-Tauriyah pada Surah Ar-Rahman terdapat dalam ayat 5-6 dan gaya bahasa Al-Irshad pada Surah Ar-Rahman terdapat dalam ayat 60 dan 33. Artikel ini menganalisis gaya bahasa at-Tauriyah dan Al-Irshad dalam surah Ar-Rahman guna mengetahui makna tersirat yang terkandung selain makna tersurat dalam surah Ar-Rahman, selain itu agar memberikan kesempatan kepada Peneliti lain untuk mengungkap kedua gaya bahasa tersebut lebih rinci.

Abstract

The Arabic language is often perceived by some individuals as inherently tied to Islamic teachings, creating a misconception that deters non-Muslims from engaging with it academically. This study addressed this issue by exploring how non-Muslim students constructed their religious identity and developed adaptation strategies while learning Arabic at State Islamic Religious Universities in Indonesia. The research employed a qualitative phenomenological approach, collecting data through in-depth interviews with five Christian students at the State Islamic University of North Sumatra in Medan, and analyzing it using the ATLAS.ti application. The findings revealed that students maintained a strong and unaffected sense of religious identity, as they viewed Arabic not as a spiritual language but as a neutral, international means of communication. Participants adopted various adaptation strategies, such as framing Arabic as knowledge rather than belief, engaging in conformity, experiencing minority privilege, employing peer learning, utilizing environmental resources for knowledge, and reinforcing religious practices within the family. These strategies highlight the dynamic interplay between identity, belief, and academic engagement in a religious educational context, offering new insights into inclusive language learning environments in Islamic institutions.

Abstract

Based on the theory, the mimicry memorization method is one of the methods that is considered effective in learning mufrodat because it is based on pronunciation and memorization. The application of the mimicry memorization method in learning mufrodat is not always effective even though the theory says so, this is due to several problems that cause the learning objectives not to be achieved and this often happens in educational institutions, one of which is MTs Al-Ittihadiyah Mamiyai Medan. The purpose of this research is to find out the inhibiting factors, as well as find solutions to the problems that occur in the field. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were obtained in several ways, namely, literature review, in-depth interviews and participatory observation. The data were analyzed in four ways, namely, reduction, presentation, conclusion drawing and triangulation. The results of this study indicate that there are two inhibiting factors in the form of internal and external as well as alternative solutions that can be done in each problem that occurs

Abstract

Arabic is the second most important foreign language in Indonesia after English. Arabic is generally taught in madrasahs and pesantrens, so its coverage is not as widespread as English, which is taught in almost all schools. Furthermore, Arabic is a key language for understanding Islamic teachings. Therefore, a good mastery of vocabulary is essential for students to communicate fluently and comprehend texts effectively. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the Card Sort method in improving the Arabic vocabulary mastery of seventh-grade students at SMP Islam Al-Ulum Terpadu Medan on the topic of alwān (colors). The study uses a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental one-group pretest-posttest design. The results show that, first, the Card Sort method is effective in enhancing students’ vocabulary mastery on the material of alwān. Second, the effectiveness of the Card Sort method is evident from the average pretest score of 57.12 and the average posttest score of 85.52, with an n-Gain value of 82.83%, indicating a very good improvement. These findings confirm that the Card Sort method can be an effective approach in Arabic language learning, particularly in improving students’ Arabic vocabulary mastery

Abstract

This study analyses the relationship between Islamic Education teachers' competence, parental support, and students' religiosity in two Islamic high schools in Medan City. The method used is quantitative with a correlational descriptive design. The sample consisted of 235 students, including 103 from Al-Azhar Medan High School and 132 from Plus As-Syafiyatul Amaliyah Medan High School, selected through stratified random sampling. Data was collected using a Likert scale questionnaire developed based on pedagogical and personality dimensions for teacher competence, House's social support theory for parental support, and Glock & Stark's five dimensions of religiosity. Instrument validity was tested through Pearson correlation and expert assessment, while reliability was measured using Cronbach's Alpha coefficient ≥ 0.60. Multiple linear regression analysis revealed that teacher competence did not significantly influence students' religiosity, while parental support had a significant positive influence. Simultaneously, both variables significantly influenced religiosity, contributing 35.8% to it. These findings confirm that the formation of students' religiosity does not solely depend on formal education but is also influenced by effective collaboration between schools and families. The results of this study support the developmental ecology theory, which emphasises the interaction of various systems in comprehensively shaping students' faith and moral values.

Abstract

This study examines the symbolic meaning of al-Miṣbāḥ (lamp) in the Qur'an with a focus on the interpretation of Imam Fakhruddīn al-Rāzī in his monumental work, Tafsir Mafātīḥ al-Ghayb. In contrast to previous studies that tended to interpret al-Miṣbāḥ textually, this study offers novelty by integrating linguistic-semantic analysis into classical interpretation methodologies. The aim is to reveal the multidimensional meaning of al-Miṣbāḥ, both as a singular symbol (miṣbāḥ) that symbolizes the light of divine guidance in the believer's heart (QS. an-Nūr: 35), and as a plural symbol (maṣābīḥ) that represents cosmic beauty and protection (QS. al-Mulk: 5 and QS. Fuṣṣilat: 12). The method used is a qualitative study based on library research, with a thematic approach (tafsīr mawḍū'ī) that is integrated with linguistic and semantic analysis. This study found that al-Miṣbāḥ not only serves as a physical symbol, but also represents the radiance of revelation that guides humans intellectually and spiritually. al-Rāzī's interpretation shows the methodological depth of associating the symbol of light with the awareness of faith and the purpose of human life within the framework of the Islamic worldview.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the use of al-muqabalah (contradictions of meaning) in Surah Ar-Rahman. Al-muqabalah is a form of the beauty of the language of the Koran which is included in the study of the science of balaghah. The method used is a qualitative approach to the type of library research. The research's primary data is the verses of Surah Ar-Rahman which contain muqabalah elements, while the secondary data comes from balaghah books and related literature. Data collection techniques use documentation and literature study methods. The findings of the research indicate that Surah Ar-Rahman contains various forms of muqabalah, such as the muqabalah between verses of nature, the muqabalah contrasting worldly and afterlife blessings, as well as the muqabalah between paradise and hell. The application of muqabalah in this surah aims to enhance the meaning, clarify the purpose of the verses, and highlight significant messages within the surah. This study is anticipated to offer a deeper insight into the rhetorical style of the Qur'an, especially regarding the use of muqabalah in Surah Ar-Rahman. translit ke bahasa indonesia
