Abstract

Current automotive business processes in Batam, encompassing both sales and rentals, remain dominated by conventional methods and the fragmented dissemination of information across social media platforms. This reliance leads to search time inefficiencies, restricted consumer access to specific information, and a distinct lack of an integrated information system capable of accommodating all entities within the automotive business ecosystem. This study aims to bridge this gap by developing an Integrated Automotive-Hub Platform designed to seamlessly and inclusively connect the automotive ecosystem—specifically, industry entrepreneurs and consumers. The software development lifecycle implements the Agile methodology through iterative cycles (Sprints), comprising product backlog creation, iterative development, and continuous testing. Built on a Model-View-Controller (MVC) architecture, the platform features robust core functionalities, including Create, Read, Update, and Delete (CRUD) product management, Peer-to-Peer (P2P) Live Messaging, a Wishlist system, and a Rating & Review module. System evaluation was conducted using Black-Box Testing to validate software functionality, alongside comparative operational time testing to measure the productivity of the new system against traditional manual processes (which utilize messaging applications and spreadsheets). Functional testing results indicate that 14 system scenarios executed perfectly, with no interface or database errors detected. Furthermore, comparative time analyses demonstrate that the platform drastically reduces operational durations within the search and fleet management modules, achieving a Task Success Rate of 95% to 100%. The primary contribution of this research is the engineering of a centralized, public-facing digital automotive ecosystem. This platform tangibly optimizes information transparency (inclusive information), accelerates transaction processes, and minimizes human error within Batam's automotive industry.

Abstract

Keberhasilan pengembangan Sistem Informasi Akademik dipengaruhi oleh pemilihan metode pengembangan perangkat lunak yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan organisasi. Beragamnya metode pengembangan yang tersedia sering kali menimbulkan kesulitan dalam menentukan alternatif terbaik karena masing-masing memiliki karakteristik dan tingkat efektivitas yang berbeda. Penelitian ini bertujuan menentukan prioritas metode pengembangan perangkat lunak untuk Sistem Informasi Akademik menggunakan metode Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). Penelitian dilakukan dengan mengevaluasi empat kriteria utama, yaitu waktu pengembangan, biaya pengembangan, fleksibilitas, dan risiko proyek terhadap empat alternatif metode, yaitu Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, dan Rapid Application Development (RAD). Data diperoleh melalui kuesioner yang diberikan kepada responden yang memahami proses pengembangan sistem informasi dan dianalisis menggunakan tahapan AHP, meliputi perbandingan berpasangan, perhitungan bobot prioritas, serta pengujian konsistensi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa fleksibilitas merupakan kriteria terpenting dengan bobot 55,8%, sedangkan nilai Consistency Ratio (CR) sebesar 0,039 menunjukkan bahwa penilaian responden konsisten. Berdasarkan prioritas global, Agile menempati peringkat pertama dengan nilai 0,357, diikuti Scrum (0,287), RAD (0,223), dan Waterfall (0,134). Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa Agile merupakan metode yang paling direkomendasikan untuk pengembangan Sistem Informasi Akademik karena mampu memberikan fleksibilitas yang lebih tinggi dalam menghadapi perubahan kebutuhan sistem.

Abstract

The rapid growth of transactional data in the retail sector, particularly in supermarkets, has resulted in large and complex sales datasets that require effective analytical methods to identify meaningful sales patterns. This study applies data mining through clustering techniques by implementing the K-Means algorithm using Python to classify supermarket sales patterns and group transactions with similar characteristics. The research methodology includes data collection, preprocessing, normalization using StandardScaler, determination of the optimal number of clusters through the Elbow Method, clustering with the K-Means algorithm, and evaluation of clustering quality using the Silhouette Score, Davies–Bouldin Index, and Inertia (Within-Cluster Sum of Squares). The results indicate that from 1,000 sales transactions, three clusters were formed, consisting of 515 transactions in the low sales cluster, 314 in the medium sales cluster, and 171 in the high sales cluster. The clustering evaluation produced a Silhouette Score of 0.6055, a Davies–Bouldin Index of 0.502, and an Inertia value of 122.01, indicating that the resulting clusters are compact and well separated. These findings confirm that the K-Means algorithm is effective for grouping supermarket sales patterns and can support sales management and strategic planning.

Abstract

Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) is not only important in industrial or office environments, but also in households that have the potential for accidents and health problems. One group that is vulnerable to these risks is housewives, who carry out daily activities at home. The lack of understanding of safety principles at home (safety house) has the potential to cause accidents, such as burns while cooking, slipping while washing, or exposure to household cleaning chemicals. This Community Service Activity (PKM) was carried out in RT 04 RW 13, Tanjung Riau Village, with the aim of increasing housewives' knowledge and awareness regarding the implementation of K3 at home. The methods used were socialization, interactive counseling, and group discussions on the concept of safety house and practices for preventing household accidents. The results of the activity showed an increase in participants' understanding of the importance of risk management at home, as demonstrated by increased enthusiasm, critical questions, and awareness to apply simple preventive measures in daily activities. Thus, this program made a real contribution to building a culture of safety at the household level, especially for housewives as the front line in maintaining the safety and health of their families.
