Abstract

Subang State Polytechnic State Polytechnic Borrowing and Returning Information System (SIP2 BMN POLSUB) isa website-based information system that is used to provide services for borrowing and returning state property(BMN) to the entire academic community of Subang State Polytechnic (POLSUB). The results of information systemdevelopment certainly still have errors and deficiencies, so testing is needed so that the quality of the informationsystem that has been built can be known. To measure the quality of information, a standard is needed that can be used as the basis for whether the information system is feasible or not to be used. Quality assessment in this study uses the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9126 standard with six aspects namely functionality, reliability, usability, efficiency, maintainability and portability. The results of the study show that SIP2 BMNPOLSUB has met ISO 9126 standards on the aspects of functionality, usability, efficiency, reliability, portability, and maintainability. Tests were carried out on the POLSUB academic community with data collection techniquesusing a questionnaire. The first aspect is functionality with a value of 100% which shows all the functionality in the system according to user needs. The usability aspect is worth 90% which is where the information system is easy touse. Based on the results from GTMetrix, the efficiency aspect produces grade B with 80% performance and 85%structure, which means that the information system can maintain its performance level. In the reliability aspect, the percentage is 99% which indicates that the information system can be accessed by users at one time, as well as in the portability aspect, it reaches 100%, which means that SIP2 BMN POLSUB can be used by various types ofbrowsers. The last aspect, namely maintainability, reaches 100% and meets the three criteria, namelyinstrumentation, consistency, and simplicity. The final conclusion is that SIP2 BMN POLSUB is suitable for use in POLSUB.

Abstract

This research investigates the factors that influence students' decisions to withdraw from campus with the aim of developing strategies to increase student participation through the application of the decision tree method. Decision Trees are used to form decision trees that are easy to interpret and enable statistical pattern recognition. Research is based on UKT group criteria, social studies and GPA scores, student semesters, and credits taken. Research data was taken through a literature study from the Kaggle web platform regarding the number of students who withdrew. The research results show that the highest rate of resignation occurs among students who are not active in organizations. Even though students with a GPA in the range of 3.00-3.78 experienced withdrawal, the findings confirmed that GPA was not the main reason. The smallest UKT group (2-3) shows a lower withdrawal rate than the largest UKT group. This confirms that students who are less active in organizations are the students who resign the most. As a strategy to increase student participation, research recommends that students increase awareness and promote organizational activities, lecturers can create coaching and guidance programs, academic support. This strategy can help create a campus environment that supports student participation in organizational activities.

Abstract

The use of mobile-based technology today is widely used in the campus environment. Academic services are one of the services available at the Subang State Polytechnic. In it there is a process of checking the authenticity of diplomas, legalization, active lecture certificates, research permits, PKL cover letters, and college dispensation letters. The mobile-based academic service system is very important and needed to provide services that facilitate students and alumni in the campus environment because the use of mobile devices itself has become commonplace in everyday life. The purpose of this study is to design a prototype of a mobile-based application for academic services. This research uses the design thinking method which is generally used to build protoyping. This method is used to ensure the designed application meets the needs of the user and provides a better experience. Case studies are conducted in the academic services department of Subang State Polytechnic to understand existing problems and create innovative solutions. It is expected that the results of this prototype design can be applied in the future in building mobile-based applications for academic services. From the results of the entire prototype design process, it can be concluded that the prototype design of mobile-based applications can provide an overview of the academic service system at the Subang State Polytechnic.

Abstract

Pineapple is one of the tropical fruit commodities produced in Indonesia, one of the pineapple producing areas is Subang Regency, West Java. Currently, pineapples are produced to meet various needs, namely traditional markets, supermarkets, pineapple processing factories, and even souvenirs from Subang Regency. This study aims to classify pineapples that are suitable for sale using the Naïve Bayes method, which is known to be simple and effective in processing probabilistic data. This study uses primary data that includes the physical characteristics of pineapples such as skin color and sweetness level (Brix). The data is processed through several stages, including preprocessing and classification with Naïve Bayes. The results of the study showed a classification accuracy level of 94%, with satisfactory performance on recall and precision. The limitation of this method is the assumption of independence between features, which affects accuracy in certain cases. This study makes a significant contribution to the application of artificial intelligence in the agricultural sector and opens up opportunities for development in other fruit commodities.
