Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of finding out how the impact of Covid-19 is on social and economic conditions in business actors around the MC Edupark Tourism Object, Cepu District, Blora Regency. Data were analyzed using interactive qualitative analysis models and purposive sampling to determine informants related to the research object. Data collection techniques in this study are Observation, Interview, Documentation. The data analysis technique used is qualitative, with steps that include: Data collection, data presentation and drawing conclusions and suggestions. The population in this study were 31 traders and 40 tourists in the Mc Edupark tourism area, Blora Regency. The results of the study show that business opportunities around the Mc Edupark tourism object are included in the high category. Local people take advantage of this situation to trade. The increase in visitors after the renovation of the Mc Edupark Tourism Object was really able to increase visitors and affect an increase in income.

Abstract The problem that occurs in consumer protection is the lack of regulation regarding setting minimum and maximum standards in the value issued by each product and brand so that consumers feel confused in determining these products and weak supervision can affect producers and business actors in setting value so that it has the potential to harm consumers. components that affect consumer protection are caused by the application of regulations or consumer protection rules that are not comprehensive, and leave gaps that can harm consumer rights in the cellular ecosystem, especially if it involves non-financial institutions, and consumer protection by non-financial institutions is much weaker than protection by bank payment service Keywords: Consumer Protection, Consumer Law, Problems

Abstract

This community service activity provides counseling to class XII students at SMK Berbudi Yogyakarta which aims to provide additional understanding and knowledge to class XII students about the relationship between social media and entrepreneurship so that later class XII students can open their own businesses after finishing school. This community service activity aims to increase understanding and additional knowledge for class XII students at SMK Berbudi Yogyakarta about the relationship between social media and entrepreneurship which is carried out using lecture, demonstration, and question and answer methods. The benefits that can be obtained by participants from this community service activity include increasing the knowledge, understanding, and experience of class XII students at SMK Berbudi Yogyakarta about the relationship between social media and entrepreneurship.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui strategi pengembangan melalui perencanaan model bisnis Mujigae Dimsoem yang bertujuan untuk merencanakan model bisnis yang tepat kedepannya serta pengaplikasiannya sehingga mampu bersaing dengan kompetitor sejenis. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah wawancara dengan pemilik usaha dimsum dan analisis data dari berbagai sumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi pengembangan melalui perencanaan model bisnis Mujigae Dimsoem dapat dilakukan dengan fokus pada penerapan desain Bisnis Model Kanvas melalui studi lapangan terkait analisis kompetitor dan perilaku konsumen. Hal ini menjadi acuan dalam merancang strategi pengembangan bisnis Mujigae Dimsoem yang terfokus pada penggunaan bahan baku yang berkualitas, inovasi produk, variasi produk, serta penerapan strategi pemasaran yang kretif. Strategi pengembangan melalui perencanaan model bisnis ini menjadi acuan usaha Mujigae Dimsoem dalam meningkatkan value produk dan daya saing dipasar. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi dalam pengembangan stategi bisnis industri makanan dan dapat menjadi rujukan bagi pengusaha dimsum lainnya dalam menyusun strategi pengembangan bisnis kedepan secara efektif.

Abstract

Keripik pangsit merupakan makanan yang digemari masyarakat, namun persaingan dalam industri makanan semakin ketat. Pendekatan baru diperlukan dalam perencanaan model bisnis agar tetap kompetitif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui inovasi perencanaan model bisnis keripik pangsit dalam rangka untuk meningkatkan daya saing. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan metode wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa inovasi dalam perencanaan model bisnis keripik pangsit dapat dilakukan melalui penggunaan bahan baku yang berkualitas, pengembangan rasa dan variasi produk, serta penerapan strategi pemasaran yang kreatif. Inovasi perencanaan model bisnis ini memberikan kontribusi kepada, bisnis keripik pangsit agar dapat meningkatkan daya saing di pasar dan memperoleh keuntungan yang lebih besar. Penelitian ini dapat dijadikan referensi bagi para pengusaha keripik pangsit yang ingin meningkatkan kualitas produk dan daya saingnya.

Abstract

English language learning is undergoing a profound transformation with the advent of digital technology and Artificial Intelligence. This research, that conduct by narrative review method, will aim to address these gaps by synthesizing findings from the last decade of research and providing a comprehensive understanding of the current trends, challenges, and future directions in the use of AI for English language learning. Most existing studies focus on the efficacy of specific AI tools, with limited attention given to long-term effects on learners' language proficiency, retention, and socio-cultural competence. Additionally, much of the research to date has concentrated on English as a foreign language, with less emphasis on how AI can support multilingualism or the learning of English as a second language in diverse sociocultural contexts. Furthermore, there is a lack of studies that explore the ethical, cultural, and pedagogical implications of widespread AI adoption in language education, particularly in non-Western contexts. This study contributes valuable insights into the evolving landscape of the use of AI in English learning, highlighting both the promising potential and the challenges of integrating GenAI technologies. Suggestions for further research are to conduct empirical research on the concepts in this study.

Abstract

The purpose of this community service activity is to provide insight into how to start a business independently. This activity uses a counseling method to increase the understanding and awareness of participants, as well as examples of how to start a business independently. The provision of counseling materials is carried out for one day during working hours. Participants in the community service at the Tahfizh Qur'an Yatim Nurani Insani Yogyakarta Islamic Boarding School were attended by 58 participants. The pre-test showed that the audience who knew about how to start a business was 17.24% and those who did not know about technology adaptation were 82.76%. The results of the post-test showed that the audience who knew about how to start a business was 89.66% and those who knew about technology adaptation were 93.1%. After participating in the community service activity, all participants are expected to have knowledge about how to start a business independently in order to open up employment opportunities.

Abstract

Research Aims: In an organization, there are several factors that can affect business performance, including orientation, entrepreneurial orientation, utilization of social media and marketing capability. Based on the urgency above, this study focuses on exploring indicators that can effectively affect business performance and continuity in the current technological era in batik MSMEs. The purpose of this study is to provide an overview of the influence of antecedents on MSME performance so as to provide an overview of indicators that can effectively improve the performance of batik MSMEs in Yogyakarta. Design/methodology/approach: This research design uses a quantitative research method with an associative problem formulation. The type of research used is explanatory research. The number of respondent samples was 250 leaders or people in charge of various batik craft UMKM in Region of Yogyakarta Province. Data collection through the distribution of questionnaires with a face-to-face method between respondents and researchers. The analysis of this study uses the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method using AMOS. Research Findings: The results of this study are that market orientation, entrepreneurial Orientation, and use of social media have an effect on the marketing capability and business performance of Batik MSMEs in Yogyakarta. Theoretical Contribution/Originality: This study provides an overview of the importance of market orientation and entrepreneurial Orientation for improving a company's business performance. The novelty of this study's results is that it shows that the use of social media and marketing capability are also indicators that play a role in improving business performance.

Abstract

Mahasiswa belum memiliki pengetahuan yang memadai tentang bagaimana cara membuka usaha secara mandiri. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk memberikan wawasan tentang platform bisnis daring dan pemasaran kuliner. Kegiatan ini menggunakan metode penyuluhan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman serta kesadaran para peserta, juga contoh-contoh tentang platform bisnis daring dan pemasaran kuliner. Pemberian materi penyuluhan dilaksanakan selama satu hari saat jam kerja. Peserta pengabdian kepada masyarakat di Universitas Widya Mataram Yogyakarta ini diikuti oleh 22 peserta. Setelah mengikuti kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat, semua peserta diharapkan memiliki pengetahuan tentang platform bisnis daring dan pemasaran kuliner agar nantinya dapat menjalankan usaha dengan baik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh renewable energy consumption terhadap gross domestic product (GDP), khususnya di Middle East dan North Africa pada kurun waktu 1990-2015. Data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh dari World Bank. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan regresi linier sederhana. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh signifikan renewable energy consumption terhadap gross domestic product di Middle East dan North Africa pada periode 1990-2015.
