Abstract

Pendidikan sangat penting untuk mengembangkan potensi manusia serta dengan pendidikan pula akan menjadikan manusia lebih berkualitas. Menjadi tenaga kependidikan yang profesional tidak akan terwujud begitu saja tanpa adanya upaya untuk meningkatkannya, adapun salah satu cara untuk mewujudkannya adalah dengan mengembangkan profesionalisme sehingga sekolah merupakan suatu lembaga organisasi yang didalamnya mengatur kegiatan proses pembelajaran dan tergambar bahwa proses pelaksanaan pendidikan merupakan proses pendewasaan yang melibatkan kepala sekolah. Abstract

School as a place of learning should be a place to develop students' interests and talents. The important thing in developing students' interests and talents is to have an awareness of their interests and talents. This awareness will lead him to strategic choices in the future related to the chosen field of study, a conducive learning environment and the choice of profession according to his interests and talents. Knowledge of these interests and talents needs to be facilitated by schools, parents and the community. This study aims to determine the application of utilizing students' interests and talents in improving student learning outcomes. This type of research includes qualitative research and uses descriptive analysis techniques. The results of this study can be said that the implementation of the utilization of interests and talents is carried out when students register and choose the majors of interest. Students also choose intra and extracurricular activities to support their interests and talents. In addition, students are also asked to fill out a student needs questionnaire as a basis for counseling services. However, at the implementation level, the use of interest has not been accompanied by a special aptitude test to support student interest.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis strategi kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam manajemen branding sekolah Islam terpadu dalam meningkatkan citra dan daya tarik di era persaingan global. Penelitian dilakukan di SDIT Robbani Banjarbaru menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi yang dianalisis dengan teknik reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepala sekolah menerapkan strategi kepemimpinan partisipatif yang terintegrasi dalam manajemen branding melalui penguatan komunikasi publik, pengelolaan media sosial, kolaborasi dengan guru, orang tua, dan tim branding. Implementasi branding dilakukan secara konsisten melalui digitalisasi konten, pemanfaatan keunggulan karakter Qur’ani, serta pelibatan aktif warga sekolah. Dampak dari strategi tersebut terlihat dari peningkatan signifikan jumlah pendaftar setiap tahun, meningkatnya loyalitas orang tua dan guru, serta terbentuknya citra positif SDIT Robbani di masyarakat daerah setempat dan nasional.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui strategi guru bimbingan konseling dalam mencegah perilaku kekerasan verbal dan non-verbal di SMK Negeri 1 Martapura dan apa saja yang menjadikan hambatan ketika melaksanakan strategi tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, desain yang digunakan adalah studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi dari berbagai sumber data yang sudah ada. Keabsahan data penelitian ini menggunakan teknik triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi metode. Hasil penelitian menjawab 2 poin dari rumusan masalah, yaitu 1) Strategi guru bimbingan konseling untuk mencegah perilaku kekerasan verbal dan non- verbal terbagi menjadi 4 yang pertama strategi preventif melalui layanan bimbingan klasikal. Guru bimbingan konseling (BK) menyampaikan materi terkait kekerasan verbal dan non-verbal secara komunikatif dan melibatkan siswa dalam diskusi aktif. Kedua, strategi korektid juga diterapkan melalui layanan konseling individual dan kelompok yang ditujukan bagi siswa yang terlibat sebagai pelaku dan juga korban dari perilaku kekerasan. Layanan ini membantu siswa merefleksikan perilaku, memahami dampak dan tindakan atas perbuatan mereka, dan mengembangkan solusi sesuai pemikiran siswa. Ketiga, kolaborasi ini salah satu bagian penting dalam strategi pencegahan perilaku kekerasan di sekolah. Guru bimbingan konseling (BK) bekerja sama dengan guru mata pelajaran, wali kelas, orang tua, dan serta pihak sekolah lainnya dalam melakukan identifikasi terhadap pencegahan dan penanganan perilaku kekerasan. Keempat, strategi penegakkan tata tertib dan pembentukan budaya sekolah yang positif. 2) Hambatan yang dihadapi guru bimbingan konseling yaitu keterbatasan jumlah guru dan sarana prasarana, rendahnya partisipasi dan keterbukaan siswa, kurangnya dukungan dana dan program sekolah, koordinas yang belum optimal, pengaruh lingkungan di luar sekolah.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has had an impact on all sectors of life, including the education sector. The learning process, which is usually conducted in classrooms, has been shifted to home-based learning to prevent and reduce the spread of the COVID-19 virus in educational settings. Most parents in Kiram Village work as fish farmers, and their operations often involve their children, especially during the fish harvesting season. As a result, during the COVID-19 pandemic, children sometimes did not participate in the learning process or study at home. Consequently, they fell behind in their studies, which negatively affected their academic performance. The lack of awareness about the importance of parents' roles in their children's learning process also negatively impacted children's academic achievements. One effort to provide knowledge and understanding about the role of parents in educating their children was through counseling and training sessions on parental involvement in children's education at home, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. These sessions used a psycho-educational approach, employing methods such as lectures, Q&A sessions, discussions, skill training, and problem-solving. Media tools like problem cards and solution cards were utilized. he results of the counseling and training showed an increase in parents' knowledge and a change in their perceptions regarding their role in supporting their children's learning at home, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of teacher performance, commitment and professionalism on student learning outcomes at SMPN 14 Banjarmasin City. This type of research is quantitative research. The population used in this study were all teachers, namely 52 teachers. Sampling in this study is by saturation sampling. The data collection technique is using a questionnaire. Methods of data analysis using multiple linear regression with the IBM SPSS statistical 22 programs. The results showed that there is an effect of performance on student learning outcomes, there is an effect of commitment on student learning outcomes, there is a professional influence of teachers on student learning outcomes, there is a simultaneous effect on performance, teacher commitment and professionalism towards student learning outcomes at SMPN 14 Banjarmasin City.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze how the application of computational thinking can affect students' analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as change the mindset of teachers from conventional teachers to innovators in one of the Junior High Schools in Banjarmasin City. This study uses a qualitative case study approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data were analyzed using thematic analysis techniques, including coding, identifying important themes, and interpretation in the context of computational thinking theory. Data triangulation was carried out by comparing the results of observations, interviews, and document analysis to ensure the validity of the findings. The results of the study indicate that computational thinking plays a significant role in improving students' technical and analytical skills and encouraging the transformation of teachers' mindsets towards a more innovative and adaptive approach to technology. In addition, this study also found that the implementation of computational thinking successfully addressed the gap in technology skills among students, thereby increasing educational equality. The implications of this study indicate that the application of computational thinking in the school curriculum can be an effective strategy to improve the quality of education in Indonesia. However, this study is limited to one location. It does not consider gender factors and variations in student backgrounds, so further research is needed with a wider scope to obtain a more comprehensive picture.

Abstract

Perilaku menunda-nunda dalam dunia akademis adalah salah satu masalah yang kerap ditemui oleh siswa dan mahasiswa, di mana individu dengan sadar menangguhkan penyelesaian tugas akademik walaupun terdapat waktu serta keterampilan yang memadai untuk menyelesaikannya. Dalam konteks ini, peran guru Bimbingan dan Konseling (BK) menjadi sangat krusial dalam membantu siswa mengatasi kebiasaan menunda-nunda tugas atau kewajiban akademik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis peran guru BK dalam menangani perilaku prokrastinasi akademik siswa di sekolah. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kualitatif, dengan menggunakan metode pengumpulan data yang meliputi wawancara dan dokumentasi yang komprehensif. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari Guru BK dan sejumlah siswa yang terkait kebiasaan menunda-nunda pekerjaan. Temuan penelitian menunjukan bahwa guru BK memiliki peran penting dalam mengatasi penundaan akademis melalui layanan konseling individu, bimbingan kelompok, serta pendekatan preventif dan kuratif lainnya. Setelah mendapatkan penanganan dari guru BK, siswa menunjukkan perubahan positif dalam perilaku akademiknya, seperti meningkatnya kesadaran akan tanggung jawab belajar, manajemen waktu yang lebih baik, serta berkurangnya kecenderungan untuk menunda-nunda tugas. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa intervensi yang dilakukan oleh guru BK efektif dalam membantu siswa mengatasi prokrastinasi akademik, serta mempertegas pentingnya keberadaan layanan bimbingan dan konseling di sekolah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui hubungan Self Awareness dengan Disiplin Waktu Siswa Kelas X MAN 3 banjarmasin. Permasalahan yang ditemukan meliputi keterlambatan hadir dan keterlambatan mengumpulkan tugas. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain deskriptif korelasional. Populasi berjumlah 205 siswa seluruh kelas X Di MAN 3 banjarmasin, teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan rumus slovin tingkat kesalahan 5 persen yaitu sampel berjumlah 134 siswa. Pengumpulan data menggunakan Instrumen Skala Self Awareness dab Skala Disiplin Waktu. Analisis Data menggunakan rumus pearson product moment.Hasil menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif signifikan ( r = 0,652 ) , yang berarti semakin tinggi Self Awareness, semakin tinggi pula Disiplin Waktu siswa. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya pengembangan Self Awareness sebagai upaya membentuk disiplin dan tanggung jawab siswa dalam mengelola waktu secara efektif
