Abstract

This study investigates the influence of a language team's efforts on Maharah Kalam proficiency among female students at Al Fattah Buduran Islamic Boarding School in Indonesia. Employing a quantitative correlational approach, the research analyzes data using hypothesis and correlation testing via SPSS Windows 26. The results indicate a non-significant relationship (p = 0.120 > 0.05) between the language team intervention and Maharah Kalam proficiency, suggesting that the null hypothesis (Ho) is accepted. The observed negative correlation of 0.023 (2.3%) implies a minimal adverse effect. Thus, this study concludes that the Language Team variable holds no significant sway over the Maharah Kalam variable among female students at the boarding school, emphasizing the complex interplay of factors affecting Arabic language acquisition. Highlights: Limited Impact: The study reveals that the language team's initiatives did not significantly influence Arabic language proficiency among female students. Correlation Analysis: Quantitative analysis using SPSS 26 showed a non-significant negative correlation (2.3%) between the language team efforts and Maharah Kalam proficiency. Complex Language Acquisition: The findings underscore the intricate nature of Arabic language acquisition, indicating the need for comprehensive approaches beyond specific interventions. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine students’ responses to the implementation of Quizizz as an online evaluation media in Tarakib learning. This study employed a descriptive quantitative approach using a Likert scale-based closed questionnaire as an instrument, which was distributed to 74 students in grades VII, VIII, and IX. The data were analyzed using a percentage technique based on five indicators, namely fun and involvement, ease of access, understanding of the material, clarity of instructions, and speed of feedback. The result showed that students’ responses to the use of Quizizz were in the very positive category with an average percentage of 90,56%. This finding shows that Quizizz can increase student involvement, understanding, and motivation in learning tarakib. Therefore, the implementation of Quizizz can be used as an alternative evaluation media that is effective, interactive, and fun to improve the quality of Arabic language learning.

Abstract

The development of modern science, particularly in cosmology and evolutionary biology, raises questions about how Islamic theology can engage in dialogue with contemporary scientific theories such as the Big Bang theory, the multiverse concept, and the theory of evolution. The objective of this research is to explore Islamic theology and cosmology, focusing on the aspects of the Creation of the Universe according to the Qur'an, the Multiverse Concept, and the Relationship between Evolutionary Theory and Islamic Teachings from the perspective of modern science. The method used in this study is a Systematic Literature Review by analyzing previous relevant studies on Islamic theology and cosmology. The findings show a connection between Islamic theology and the science of the creation of the universe, the multiverse, and evolutionary theory. The Qur'an presents creation as the will of God, encompassing both physical and spiritual dimensions. The concept of the multiverse is acceptable as long as it does not contradict the oneness of God (tawhid), while the theory of evolution is understood as part of the divine plan. Dialogue between theology and science enriches our understanding of the cosmos and opens up opportunities for relevant interdisciplinary research.

Abstract

Paradigma pendidikan abad ke-21 mengalami pergeseran signifikan dengan menekankan keterampilan 4C (critical thinking, creativity, communication, dan collaboration) yang menuntut guru untuk beradaptasi terhadap perubahan kurikulum, meningkatnya beban administrasi, penegakan hak asasi manusia (HAM) di sekolah, serta percepatan transformasi digital dalam pembelajaran. Namun, realitas di lapangan menunjukkan bahwa guru masih menghadapi kendala berupa tekanan administratif, keterbatasan sarana, serta rendahnya dukungan terhadap penguatan literasi digital dan nilai kemanusiaan dalam praktik pendidikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif melalui teknik wawancara terhadap tiga guru dari berbagai lembaga pendidikan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tantangan profesi guru di abad 21 bersifat multidimensional, meliputi aspek kebijakan (kurikulum), struktural (administrasi), moral (HAM), dan teknologi (era digital). Guru dituntut memiliki kemampuan adaptif, reflektif, dan kreatif agar mampu menyesuaikan strategi pembelajaran dengan kebutuhan peserta didik dan perkembangan zaman. Artikel ini diharapkan memberikan pemahaman komprehensif mengenai dinamika profesi guru abad 21 serta menjadi rujukan bagi akademisi, praktisi pendidikan, dan pembuat kebijakan dalam merumuskan strategi pendidikan yang relevan, humanis, dan berkelanjutan guna memperkuat profesionalisme guru di era global.

Abstract

Guru memiliki peran strategis dalam menentukan kualitas pembelajaran dan keberhasilan pendidikan. Namun dalam praktiknya, guru masih menghadapi berbagai kendala mulai dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, hingga evaluasi pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kepustakaan dengan menelaah berbagai literatur terkait permasalahan guru dalam pembelajaran. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa pada tahap perencanaan, guru kerap kesulitan menyesuaikan perangkat pembelajaran dengan tuntutan kurikulum yang terus berubah, termasuk Kurikulum Merdeka yang menuntut kemandirian dalam penyusunan modul ajar. Pada tahap pelaksanaan, kendala mencakup pemilihan metode, pengelolaan kelas, serta keterbatasan penggunaan media berbasis teknologi akibat kurangnya pelatihan dan fasilitas pendukung. Sementara itu, pada tahap evaluasi, guru kesulitan merancang instrumen yang komprehensif dan melaksanakan penilaian secara optimal karena keterbatasan waktu dan variasi kemampuan peserta didik. Alternatif solusi meliputi kolaborasi profesional antar guru, pelatihan berkelanjutan, pemanfaatan teknologi pendidikan, serta penguatan komunitas belajar. Penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya dukungan sistematis untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru sehingga proses pembelajaran berjalan efektif dan tujuan pendidikan dapat tercapai.

Abstract

The learning process in many schools remains dominated by the lecture method, causing students to become passive and less motivated to learn. An effective alternative is the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model, which promotes active engagement through meaningful project activities. This study aimed to examine the implementation of the PjBL model in Arabic language learning and to evaluate its effectiveness in increasing the learning interest of Grade VIII students at MTs Al Ihsan Sungai Rumbai, Bengkulu. The research used a participatory Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach following the Kurt Lewin model, consisting of four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The study involved 28 Grade VIII students as participants. Data were collected through observation, questionnaires, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed using percentage calculations based on the Likert scale to measure changes in learning interest. The results indicated a significant improvement in students’ interest, increasing from 62% in the pre-cycle (low) to 78% in Cycle I (moderate) and 89% in Cycle II (good). These findings demonstrate that the PjBL model fosters a more active, collaborative, and meaningful learning environment. Therefore, Project-Based Learning is considered an effective and applicable strategy to enhance students’ interest in learning Arabic at the madrasah tsanawiyah level.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mencoba mengeksplorasi kontribusi penghargaan dan kesejahteraan terhadap peningkatan mutu pendidikan, khususnya dalam hal mendorong motivasi, performa, serta loyalitas para pendidik, dengan mempertimbangkan realitas di Indonesia di mana kesejahteraan guru sering kali belum memadai dan mekanisme penghargaan yang adil serta berkelanjutan masih kurang optimal. Melalui pendekatan studi pustaka, kajian ini menggali berbagai sumhber literatur, artikel jurnal, dan temuan penelitian terdahulu yang berkaitan erat dengan isu penghargaan, kesejahteraan, serta kualitas pendidikan secara umum. Dari analisis tersebut, terlihat bahwa penghargaan berupa dalam bentuk materi atau non materi berperan penting untuk membangkitkan semangat dan meningkatkan kerja guru saat mengajar, sedangkan kesejahteraan yang cukup memberikan mereka rasa aman dan stabilitas emosional agar bisa bekerja dengan lebih profesional dan inovatif. Kedua peran kesejahteraan maupun penghargaan saling mendukung dan memperkuat, sehingg menciptakan sebuah lingkaran positif yang langsung memengaruhi proses serta hasil pembelajaran siswa. Dengan demikian, kebijakan pendidikan harus secara konsisten menekankan keseimbangan antara pemberian penghargaan dan perbaikan kesejahteraanguru, demi membangun sistem pendidikan yang tidak hanya bermutu tinggi, tetapi juga adil dan dapat bertahan dalam jangka panjang.

Abstract

Background: The transition toward Society 5.0 demands accessible technology for all, including people with disabilities. Specific Background: Despite technological progress, digital access for individuals with disabilities remains limited due to low digital literacy and inadequate infrastructure. Gap: Few studies integrate theological concepts with technological innovation to support digital inclusion, especially through sign-language digitalization. Aim: This paper aims to reinterpret the Qur’anic term ar-ramz as a foundation for developing a digital sign-language model using AR and audiobooks. Results: The findings highlight the potential of AR for deaf users through visual optimization and audiobooks for blind users through auditory enhancement. The study also identifies major barriers, including social stigma, digital inequality, and infrastructural limitations. Novelty: This research combines theological interpretation with technological design to propose an inclusive digital model grounded in symbolic interaction. Implications: Policymakers and educators should strengthen digital culture, provide training, and promote accessible technologies to support disabled communities in the era of Society 5.0. Abstract

Penilaian kinerja guru atau pendidik merupakan poin penting dalam meningkatkan mutu dan kualitas pendidikan, karena kinerja guru menentukan efektivitas proses belajar-mengajar, pengembangan karakter siswa, dan terciptanya lingkungan belajar yang menyeluruh.Riset ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan studi kepustakaan untuk menganalisis konsep, tujuan, indikator, serta tantangan dan solusi dalam penilaian kinerja guru. Data dikumpulkan dari literatur, regulasi, jurnal, dan publikasi resmi Ditjen GTK Kemendikbud. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa kinerja guru dipengaruhi oleh motivasi, kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, lingkungan kerja, pelatihan berkelanjutan, dan beban dalam pekerjaan. Indikator Kinerja Kunci (KPI) seperti keteraturan kelas, disiplin positif, pemberian respon atau hubungan timbal balik, perhatian terhadap siswa, aktivitas interaktif atau komunikasi dua arah, dan kemampuan instruksi adaptif atau pengarahan yang sesuai berfungsi sebagai alat evaluasi sekaligus sarana refleksi untuk peningkatan profesionalisme guru. Kendala utama dalam implementasi penilaian kinerja mencakup resistensi guru, sikap penilai, kurangnya tindak lanjut pelatihan, dan keterbatasan sistem penilaian. Oleh karena itu, perlu penyempurnaan sistem evaluasi yang transparan, objektif, dan didukung teknologi agar hasilnya menjadi nyata dan mewujudkan peningkatan kualitas pendidikan yang berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This article aims to determine the learning process of Adab al Arabi at Ma'had Umar Bin al Khattab Putri Sidoarjo. The research approach used by the researcher is a case study study whose data are obtained from a detailed study of a single background, single subject, or a particular event. The results showed that, 1) The online learning method for the Adab Arabi course at Ma'had Umar Bin al-Khattab Putri Sidoarjo during the Covid-19 pandemic was a historical method and in the learning process Ma'had Umar Bin al-Khattab Putri Sidoarjo used several various applications, such as whatsapp, google drive, telegram and youtube. 2) The inhibiting factor in the online learning process for the Adab Arabi course at Ma'had Umar Bin al-Khattab Putri Sidoarjo, namely Mahasisiwi is constrained by signals, cellphone memory is full, internet quota and the lack of enthusiasm of students in participating in online learning for the Adab al Arabi course. 3) Supporting factors for online learning maddah Adab Arabiy, namely, students get time slack in completing assignments, there is no limit on the use of one application in collecting assignments, and students can repeat audio explanations from the ustadzah when they do not understand the material well
