Abstract

This Community Service (PkM) activity was carried out in Tanjung Sari Village, Pengandonan District, Ogan Komering Ulu Regency (OKU), to improve the knowledge and skills of farmers/breeders in utilizing goat urine waste as raw material for liquid organic fertilizer (POC). The main problem of the community is the dependence on chemical fertilizers and the lack of optimal use of livestock waste that has the potential to pollute the environment. The implementation method is carried out through counseling, training, and demonstrations of making POC using local ingredients (goat urine, ginger-turmeric-galangal rhizomes, EM4, dolomite, shrimp paste, and molasses). POC is fermented for two weeks and applied to corn and vegetable crops at a dose of 200 ml/L of water. Field observations showed that plants that were given POC had greener leaves, stronger stems, and more uniform growth compared to controls without POC. This activity improves farmers' practical skills in producing organic fertilizers independently and encourages productive livestock waste management.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the influence of supply volume, demand, prices of other oranges, farm-gate prices, transportation costs, fruit quality, and harvest season on the price of local Siamese oranges at the retailer level in Baturaja City, Ogan Komering Ulu Regency. A quantitative approach was applied using a survey method with 30 randomly selected orange retailers. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results showed that all independent variables simultaneously had a significant effect on the retail price of Siamese oranges, with a significance value of 0.000 (< 0.05) and a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.831. Partially, each variable—supply volume, demand, other orange prices, farm-gate prices, transportation, quality, and harvest season—had a statistically significant effect at the 5% or 10% confidence level. These findings indicated that these factors played an essential role in determining the retail price of Siamese oranges and should be considered in price management strategies. This study provided practical insights for retailers, farmers, and policymakers in developing more efficient pricing and distribution strategies for local citrus products. Keywords: orange price, retailers, supply, demand, quality, multiple regression

Abstract

This study aims to analyze marketing strategies and factors that affect the success of marketing at Tengkiang Coffee Shop located in Pulau Panggung Village, Semende Darat Laut District, Muara Enim Regency. The research uses a qualitative descriptive approach with survey, interview, observation, and documentation methods. The data is analyzed using the marketing mix concept (7P) as well as a SWOT matrix to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats in marketing management. The results of the study show that the marketing strategy implemented is still conventional, relying on word-of-mouth promotion, without the use of digital media. The main strength of the business lies in the distinctive quality of local coffee, affordable prices, and a friendly and comfortable shop atmosphere. The suggested development strategy is horizontal integration by increasing product innovation, expanding distribution networks, and utilizing digital promotion. This research provides strategic recommendations for MSME actors in the rural culinary sector to strengthen competitiveness through local and digital-based marketing approaches. Keywords: Marketing Strategy, MSMEs, Coffee Shops, 7P Marketing Mix, SWOT

Abstract

The formation of a strong agribusiness ecosystem was a key driver of sustainable economic development in rural areas. This paper aims to examine the factors that support opportunities for strengthening the agribusiness ecosystem and its impact on rural economic performance. This paper used a survey to obtain responses from 200 respondents in various underdeveloped areas in Papua. Statistical evaluation of the collected data used PLS-SEM. The results showed that the correlations of all tested relationships were statistically significant (p < 0.05). Institutional support had a positive and significant effect on the agribusiness ecosystem (β = 0.312, t = 4.865, p = 0.000) and economic impact (β = 0.215, t = 3.457, p = 0.001). Market access also significantly influences the agribusiness ecosystem (β = 0.287, t = 4.236, p = 0.000) and economic impact (β = 0.198, t = 3.015, p = 0.003). Similarly, human resource quality shows a positive influence on the agribusiness ecosystem (β = 0.225, t = 3.278, p = 0.001) and economic impact (β = 0.176, t = 2.865, p = 0.004). Technology access significantly strengthens the agribusiness ecosystem (β = 0.298, t = 4.574, p = 0.000) and improves economic outcomes (β = 0.203, t = 3.186, p = 0.002). In addition, the agribusiness ecosystem itself has a significant and very high influence on economic outcomes (β = 0.352, β = 5.012, β = 0.000). The agribusiness ecosystem moderates the impact of institutional, technological, market, and human factors on economic performance.
