Before the practice began, students received materials covering the definition of compost, its benefits for greening, and the steps in the manufacturing process. This activity was carried out on August 6, 2024, attended by students in grades IV to VI with high enthusiasm, even though the weather was less than supportive. The students were actively involved in every stage, from preparing materials to mixing and packaging. As a result, this activity succeeded in increasing students' awareness of the importance of managing organic waste and how waste can be turned into useful compost

Abstract

This study aims to enhance the skills of PKK mothers in Suka Damai Village, Kutai Kartanegara, in processing butterfly pea flowers (Clitoria ternatea) into an economically valuable product, namely syrup. Butterfly pea flowers, known for their potential as natural colorants and antioxidant sources, are processed into a safe and consumable syrup that can be marketed as a local product. Through training and mentoring activities, PKK mothers were taught how to harvest, process, and package the butterfly pea syrup hygienically. The results showed an improvement in the mothers' skills in transforming raw materials into marketable products, with the potential for increased income through the sale of the syrup. The produced syrup has a unique flavor and appealing color, which could become a flagship product of the village. This training also fostered entrepreneurship among the PKK mothers, which is expected to strengthen both family and village economies.

Abstract

The practice of conditional capital that occurs in Empagae Village is an economic activity that involves two parties, namely: the lender and the borrower. This conditional capital loan started from a borrower who needed capital to purchase seeds and farm fertilizers, who then borrowed a sum of money by offering conditions for the loan that had been given, namely "if the borrower lends one million, he will give one pikul of rice as long as the loan has not been paid. returned". The purpose of this study is to analyze the conditional capital system that occurs in Empagae Village from the perspective of Islamic Economic Law. The research method used in this study uses descriptive qualitative research methods. In collecting data, the methods of field observation, interviews, and documentation were used. The results of this study indicate that 1) The form of conditional capital practice in Empagae Village has two parties, Wa'Tati as the borrower makes a loan by providing conditions in the form of giving one pikul of rice for each loan with a value of one million he does. The existence of additions in debts according to Islamic economic law is not allowed if there is an addition that exceeds the principal loan or the addition is a condition of the loan. 2) Judging from the number of additions in this conditional lending practice, it can contain an additional element or usury, due to the benefits that are almost equivalent to the amount of the loan that has been borrowed, of course this is not in accordance with Islamic law.

Abstract

The poor population in Indonesia is unevenly distributed across districts and cities. This research aims to measure the impact of regional fiscal policy on reducing poverty levels. Regional financial transfers (TKD) serve as an instrument for central government intervention. The study also focuses on the classification of regional government spending and its relationship to poverty levels. Data were collected from 2016 to 2022 across Indonesian districts and cities, excluding regions with divergent data trends. The hypothesis posits that the impact of expenditure allocation across sectors varies in its effectiveness in alleviating poverty. To test this, the study employs a panel ARDL analysis to capture potential lag effects in the predictors. The main finding reveals the consistent influence of regional income on poverty reduction in both the short and long term. Meanwhile, TKD has a positive impact, as part of its fiscal gap component targets assistance to areas with high poverty levels. However, regional spending from various sources also shows a positive correlation with poverty rates, although with relatively low coefficient values. This suggests that poverty reduction is not yet a central focus of regional government spending

Abstract

This study aims to examine the legal positivization of the Indonesian Council of Ulama’s (MUI) Fatwa No. 2 of 2022 and to explore its potential as a foundation for formal regulation. Employing a descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach, data were collected through document analysis, Islamic legal literature, and interviews with MUI figures and local communities. The findings demonstrate that the fatwa reflects Qur’anic principles of justice, public interest (maṣlaḥah), and equality, while simultaneously affirming the legal status of fatwas as normative products with potential for positivization or legalization into valid written regulations, at least in the form of local bylaws (Perda). The fatwa thus functions as a normative bridge connecting Islamic law, customary norms, and state law. The study recommends synergy between MUI, local government, and traditional leaders to advance the transformation of fatwas into contextual and equitable regulations
