Abstract

Profit and loss distribution in Islamic banking financing is based on the principles of fairness and risk sharing between banks and customers. Islamic banking activities channel financing are an effort to move the economic sector. This study intends to examine the short- and long-term link between monetary policy and Mudharabah contract finance, as well as the shocks caused by changes in monetary policy and the contribution of each variable during shocks. The research makes use of a vector error correction model, which is applied to monthly data spanning the years 2004 to 2022. The sample population for the study is comprised of a number of Islamic commercial banks and business units. The findings of the research on interest rates have an effect on financing through Mudharabah contracts in both the short and long terms, but solely on inflation in the long term. However, the exchange rate does not affect the short or long term. Islamic banks must implement a portfolio of Mudharabah contracts and prepare reserve funds when a shock occurs. In Mudharabah contracts, financing Mudharabah is affected by interest rates, both short-term and long-term, but only long-term financing is affected by inflation. The most important change is the change in interest rates. If a change in a financial indicator causes a shock, Islamic banks need to set up reserve funds so they can handle it. To make Islamic banking more competitive, the government needs to keep taking it as seriously as setting interest rates.

Abstract

The scientific reasoning ability of students in Indonesia was relatively low due to a lack of understanding of the material and learning concepts. Therefore, an interesting learning system was needed and supported by effective media in conveying messages and learning objectives, which facilitated teachers in the teaching process, such as the use of interactive e-modules. This study aimed to develop interactive e-modules to improve scientific reasoning abilities in junior high school science learning. This interactive e-module was developed using the ADDIE model. The results of the study showed a validity percentage of 92.62% (very valid), practicality of 89.51% (practical), and N-gain of 0.59 (medium), while student responses reached 87.18% (very good). Interactive e-modules met the criteria for validity, practicality, and effectiveness because they were arranged systematically and covered all indicators of scientific reasoning abilities. Thus, interactive e-modules were feasible to be implemented as learning media to improve junior high school students' scientific reasoning abilities.

Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model on junior high school students’ science process skills in science learning. The research was motivated by students’ low science process skills, as indicated by their limited ability to observe, classify, predict, measure, communicate, and draw conclusions during learning activities. This study employed a quasi-experimental approach using a Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. The sample consisted of 46 eighth-grade students at SMPN 2 Maesan, comprising an experimental class (23 students) taught using the PjBL model and a control class (23 students) taught using conventional learning. Data were collected using a validated science process skills test, supported by observations and interviews. The results showed that the average posttest score of science process skills in the experimental class (78.98) was higher than that of the control class (70.28). The independent sample t-test indicated a significance value of 0.001 (p < 0.05), confirming a significant difference between the experimental and control classes. These findings indicate that the Project-Based Learning model effectively enhances students’ science process skills through contextual, collaborative, and investigative project activities and contributes to improving the quality of science learning at the junior high school level
