Abstract

The type of mother's delivery is one of the factors that influence lolustrum expenditure. Normal delivery and caesarean section (SC) result in psychological changes in the mother of pain, and are related to the administration of drugs to the mother which can affect colostrum excretion immediately after delivery. Percentage of SC deliveries in Hospitals and Midwives' Independent Practices in Palembang City Region. As many as 17.5%, this figure is the highest proportion of cesarean section in South Sumatra Province. While the coverage of exclusive breastfeeding in Hospitals and Independent Midwives Practices in the Palembang City Region, itself is the lowest in South Sumatra Province, which is 24.5%. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the type of delivery and the time of expulsion of colostrum in mothers in the fourth stage of labor at the Hospital and Independent Practice of Midwives in the City of Palembang in 2023. This type of research was analytic observational with a prospective cohort design. The research sample consisted of 35 respondents in the group without risk factors and 35 respondents with risk factors. This research began in November 2022 until April 2023. Data collection was carried out by means of interviews and observations. Data analysis using Chi-Square. Characteristics of mothers in this study were age, parity, nutritional status, and mother's education. The results of bivariate analysis showed that the type of CS delivery slowed colostrum excretion up to > 120 minutes by 1.75 (p=0.031; 95% CI; 1.028-2.981). The conclusion of this type of SC delivery can slow colostrum expulsion time by > 120 minutes.

Abstract

Proses perawatan yang dilakukan tidak berjalan secara berkesinambungan menyebabkan kematian ibu dan bayi. Continuity of care (CoC) merupakan layanan kebidanan melalui model pelayanan berkelanjutan pada perempuan sepanjang masa kehamilan, persalinan, nifas dan keluarga berencana. Berdasarkan data World Health Organization (WHO) Tahun 2018 mengatakan bahwa mencatat prevalensi postpartum blues secara umum pada penduduk dunia adalah 3-8 % dengan 50% kasus terjadi pada usia produktif yaitu 20-50 tahun. Sedangkan angka kejadian di Indonesia menurut USAID (United Stase Agency for Internasional Development) tahun 2019, terdapat 31 kelahiran per 1000 populasi. Indonesia menduduki peringkat ke empat tertinggi di ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations). Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui is hubungan pola tidur dan dukungan suami terhadap post partum blues dengan pelaksanan cintiuety of care di rumah sakit umum daerah sungai lilin. Teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu total sampling dengan total sampel 30 orang ibu postpartum. Analisa data menggunakan uji Chi-Square. Hasil penelitian adalah Hasil uji person chi-square diperoleh nilai p (0,002) < ? (0,05), hal ini berarti ada hubungan antara pola tidur dengan postpartum blues, berarti ada hubungan antara dukungan suami dengan postpartum blues, ada hubungan kejadian post partum blues dengan pelaksanaan continuity  of care

Abstract

According to WHO, 75% of neonatal deaths in the first week of life and 1 million neonatal deaths in the first 24 hours of life are caused by prematurity, asphyxia, infection, birth defects. IMR in 2020 has reached 21 deaths per 100 thousand births, however with a slow downward trend it is estimated that it will not reach the SDGs target in 2030 of 12 infant deaths per 100 thousand births. The number of maternal deaths in South Sumatra Province in 2021 was 131 people (with an MMR of 85 people per 100,000 live births), an increase from 84 people in 2020. The highest cause of death in mothers was other causes, namely 52 people (40%). This research method uses descriptive reports aimed at seeing a picture of phenomena that occur in a certain population. The target of taking this case study was Mrs "S" G2P1A0 Pregnant 38 Weeks 5 Days Normally at the Independent Practice of Midwife Kasih Bunda, Plakat Tinggi District, Musi Banyuasin Regency in 2024. Comprehensive midwifery care for Mrs "S" carried out data studies, namely subjective data and objective data, establishing a diagnosis and evaluating the care provided according to midwifery care measures, comparing the suitability and differences between theory and practice. In providing pregnancy care, 6 visits were carried out, childbirth care starting from stage I to IV, newborns at 1 hour of age, neonates and the postpartum period at 6 hours and 6 days of age, where the results were that there were no abnormalities.

Abstract

Lack of maternal knowledge about Chronic Energy Deficiency is one of the indirect causes of maternal and infant mortality. Comprehensive Midwifery Care is one way to reduce MMR and IMR, especially those that occur in PMB Hj.SRI NIRMALA. The purpose of this Final Assignment Report is to provide comprehensive care for pregnant women, childbirth, newborns, postpartum period, and family planning with the SOAP method. Comprehensive midwifery care is carried out at PMB Hj.Sri Nirmala starting from the third trimester of pregnancy, childbirth, BBL, postpartum period and family planning. Care began on February 8 to April 6, 2024. This comprehensive midwifery care was carried out on Mrs. R, 26 years old G2P1A0 at 36 weeks of pregnancy at PMB Hj.Sri Nirmala. There were 2 pregnancy visits, 1 delivery, 4 postpartum visits, 3 BBL visits, and 1 family planning visit. During pregnancy, the mother did not have any complaints and the examination results were normal. On February 25, 2024, the mother reported signs of labor at 40 weeks and 2 days gestation. The labor process proceeded normally at PMB Hj. Sri Nirmala, with the first stage lasting 6 hours, the second stage lasting 20 minutes, the third stage lasting 10 minutes, and the fourth stage lasting 2 hours. Postpartum and newborn visits showed normal maternal and infant health. At the 6-week visit, the mother had received a 3-month contraceptive injection. With comprehensive midwifery care and IEC, it is hoped that the client will implement it so that the mother and baby remain healthy, thereby reducing maternal and infant mortality
