Abstract

Kelurahan Kenjeran, yang terletak di pesisir Kota Surabaya, Jawa Timur, dikenal sebagai destinasi wisata pantai dan pusat produk pesisir, seperti ikan asap dan kerajinan kerang. Sentra ikan asap di daerah ini terkenal sebagai produsen ikan asap terbesar di Jawa Timur.   Permasalahan ikan asap yang dihadapi oleh mitra yaitu pengemasan produk ikan asap yang tidak baik sehingga berpengaruh terhadap umur simpan ikan asap. Selain itu permasalahan lainnya adalah ketersediaan bahan baku yang tidak menentu pada saat musim paceklik ikan. Pengolahan modern memerlukan persyaratan yang sulit dipenuhi oleh perikanan skala kecil, yaitu pasokan bahan baku yang bermutu tinggi dalam jenis dan ukuran yang seragam, dalam jumlah yang cukup banyak sesuai dengan kapasitas industri. Kegiatan “Pelatihan Manajemen Produksi Ikan Asap pada Kelompok Usaha Kecil Ikan Asap di Kejawan Lor Kelurahan Kenjeran Kota Surabaya” bertujuan membantu kelompok usaha kecil di Kenjeran menghasilkan ikan asap berkualitas dengan umur simpan lebih lama, serta mengatasi ketidakpastian ketersediaan bahan baku saat musim paceklik ikan. Program Kemitraan Masyarakat ini mencakup survei, penyuluhan, dan pelatihan bagi para pelaku usaha ikan asap. Pelatihan ini penting untuk memperkuat usaha kecil tersebut agar produk mereka tidak hanya dipasarkan secara lokal, tetapi juga dapat dijual di minimarket, supermarket, bahkan diekspor. Salah satu solusi yang ditawarkan adalah memberikan edukasi mengenai teknik pengemasan yang baik bagi para pelaku usaha.

Abstract

Gouramy has long been cultivated by fish breeders in Indonesia, but there are still many obstacles faced by these fish breeders, namely the very slow growth rate when compared to other freshwater fish. One effort to find out the factors that affect the slow growth rate of fish, among others, is to treat the stocking density of fish seeds. Not much is known about the optimal stocking density for gouramy seeds. This study aims to determine the effect of different stocking densities on survival and growth in absolute weight of gourami (O. gouramy) fry. The method used was using RAL (Completely Randomized Design), using 4 treatments, 6 replications. The results showed that the survival rate for treatment A gave the highest yield of 91.6% and the highest weight gain was found in treatment A with the highest yield of 3.87 grams. The water quality of all treatments during the study showed a decent and good enough range for the growth of gouramy, namely the pH ranged from 7.56 – 7.61, the temperature ranged from 26.1 – 26.2°C, and the DO ranged from 5.19 – 5.29 ppm.

Abstract

Beef cattle business development in Alitta Village, Mattiro Bulu Sub-district, Pinrang District, has great potential but also faces a number of challenges. In this context, this study aimed to assess resource accessibility in smallholder beef cattle farming based on the quality of farmers' human resources. Through qualitative methods and literature studies, primary data were obtained from interviews with farmers and business actors, while secondary data were obtained from relevant agencies. The results show that farmer characteristics, such as age, education, experience and training intensity, affect access to financial, technological and physical resources for beef cattle enterprises. Technology integration and innovation, smart marketing, and sustainable environmental maintenance are key strategies in developing this business. By implementing these strategies, Alitta Village can become a model for sustainable beef cattle enterprise development in the surrounding area, providing sustainable economic, social and environmental benefits to the community and surrounding environment

Abstract

The comet fish (Carassius auratus) is one type of freshwater ornamental fish that has many enthusiasts and maintains a relatively stable price in both domestic and international markets. The high demand for comet fish needs to be supported by excellent feed given to the fish, whether in the form of natural feed or commercial feed. Commercial feed has many advantages, including having a very complete and balanced nutritional composition as well as consistent availability throughout the year. In addition, one of the important elements in feed management is the feeding frequency. Feeding too infrequently can cause the fish to lack nutrients when needed, whereas feeding too often can reduce water quality. This study aims to determine the effect of commercial feed feeding frequency on the absolute length growth of comet fish. This study uses the Complete Randomized Design (CRD) experimental method with 3 treatments and 9 repetitions, where treatment A (frequency 2 times a day), B (frequency 3 times a day), and treatment C (frequency 4 times a day). The test animals were comet fish measuring 2-3 cm, totaling 81 individuals with a stocking density of 1 fish/L. The experimental medium used freshwater with a volume of 3 L per container. The results of the study showed that treatment B provided the best results for the absolute length growth of 2-3 cm comet fish at 2.2 cm per fish. Water quality data showed a water temperature ranging from 28.1 to 28.3 °C, a pH ranging from 7.16 to 7.19, and dissolved oxygen ranging from 5.39 to 5.57 ppm.

Abstract

The Sangkuriang catfish (Clarias gariepinus var.) has the advantage of adapting quickly to new environments, has a relatively high nutritional content, is technically easier to cultivate, and has a short life cycle, allowing for quicker harvest. Furthermore, this fish offers a very profitable economic prospect. Seeds measuring 9-12 cm can minimize the risk of cultivation failure due to their more stable and uniform growth. In aquaculture, feed plays a vital role because it directly affects the growth rate and health of fish. Commercial feeds have a very complete and balanced nutritional composition. One important element in feeding management is feed dosage. If the feeding is overdosed, it can pollute the aquatic environment and vice versa if the deficiency can cause malnutrition. This study aims to determine the effect of commercial feed doses on the absolute weight growth of sangkuriang catfish measuring 9-12 cm in experimental tanks. This study used an experimental method with a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 5 treatments and 5 replications. The treatment in this study was the provision of commercial feed with different doses. Treatment A; dose 3% of the weight of the test animal biomass, treatment B; dose 5% of the weight of the test animal biomass, treatment C; dose 7% of the weight of the test animal biomass, treatment D; dose 9%, of the weight of the test animal biomass and treatment E; dose 11% of the weight of the test animal biomass. The test animals used sangkuriang catfish measuring 9-12 cm with an average weight of 5 g/individual. The stocking density was 1 individual/liter, the experimental media used fresh water with a volume of 7 liters/tank. The results showed that treatment C provided the best results for absolute weight growth of 9-12 cm Sangkuriang catfish, at 8,8 grams per fish. Water quality data showed a water temperature of 27.8-28.8°C, pH of 6.36-6.60, and dissolved oxygen of 5.60-5.75 ppm.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kelayakan finansial usaha produksi petis udang di UD. Samporna Kabupaten Sidoarjo, Jawa Timur. Penelitian dilaksanakan dengan metode studi kasus menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif. Data primer diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, sedangkan data sekunder diperoleh dari literatur dan referensi ilmiah terkait. Analisis dilakukan melalui perhitungan biaya tetap, biaya variabel, penerimaan, keuntungan, dan nilai R/C Ratio. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa total biaya produksi petis udang sebesar Rp112.140.165 per bulan, dengan total penerimaan sebesar Rp384.800.000. Nilai keuntungan bersih yang diperoleh mencapai Rp272.659.835, dan nilai R/C ratio sebesar 3,43 (>1), yang menandakan usaha ini layak dan menguntungkan secara finansial. Faktor-faktor yang mendukung kelayakan usaha meliputi ketersediaan bahan baku udang yang stabil, manajemen biaya yang efisien, serta permintaan pasar yang tinggi. Dengan demikian, usaha petis udang skala rumah tangga di UD. Samporna layak dikembangkan sebagai usaha berkelanjutan dan potensial dalam mendukung ekonomi lokal.

Abstract

UD Murni merupakan industri rumah tangga pengolah petis udang yang berlokasi di Kabupaten Sidoarjo dan telah beroperasi selama lebih dari lima dekade. Meskipun memiliki potensi ekonomi yang besar, usaha ini masih menghadapi kendala dalam manajemen biaya, pencatatan keuangan, efisiensi produksi, dan penetapan harga berbasis analisis. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kelayakan usaha melalui pendampingan manajemen bisnis, meliputi identifikasi biaya tetap dan biaya variabel, perhitungan penerimaan dan keuntungan, serta analisis kelayakan menggunakan R/C ratio. Metode yang digunakan mencakup observasi lapangan, wawancara mendalam, dokumentasi, dan pelatihan pencatatan keuangan sederhana. Hasil pendampingan menunjukkan bahwa usaha produksi petis udang di UD Murni layak secara finansial dengan nilai R/C ratio sebesar 3,34, pendapatan bulanan mencapai Rp 382.200.000, dan keuntungan bersih sebesar Rp 268.059.835. Pendampingan juga meningkatkan pemahaman pelaku usaha terhadap manajemen biaya, efisiensi proses produksi, dan penetapan harga yang lebih rasional. Kegiatan ini memberikan kontribusi positif dalam memperkuat kapasitas manajerial UMKM serta mendukung keberlanjutan usaha pengolahan hasil perikanan di tingkat rumah tangga.

Abstract

Green hotel merupakan konsep pengelolaan hotel yang menekankan pada efisiensi energi, pengurangan limbah, dan penggunaan bahan ramah lingkungan guna mendukung keberlanjutan pariwisata. Konsep ini lahir sebagai respon industri perhotelan terhadap isu lingkungan global serta meningkatnya kesadaran wisatawan akan pentingnya praktik berkelanjutan. Tujuannya adalah menganalisis penerapan konsp green hotel di Hotel Aryaduta Kuta Bali, khususnya pada departemen front office dan housekeeping. Dari penelitian menunjukan bahwa efisiensi energi diterapkan melalui pengaturan AC, pemanfaatan cahaya alami, serta penggunaan key card untuk listrik kamar. Upaya pengurangan limbah dilakukan dengan digitalisasi layanan, program reuse linen, serta penggunaan amenities isi ulang. Selain itu, hotel juga berupaya menggunakan bahan pembersih alami, tisu daur ulang, dan peralatan hemat energi, meskipun masih terdapat kendala keterbatasan sarana, biaya investasi, dan konsistensi staf, dan kesimpulannya adalah bahwa Hotel Aryaduta Kuta Bali telah menerapkan prinsip green hotel namun belum optimal, sehingga diperlukan penguatan standar operasional, sosialisasi berkelanjutan, serta alokasi anggaran khusus untuk mendukung investasi ramah lingkungan.

Abstract

ABSTRAKKomoditas perikanan khususnya benur tidak terlepas dari proses transportasi, akan tetapi pada proses ini sering ditemukan kendala mortalitas benur yang salah satu permasalahanya terkait dengan kepadatan yang berdampak pada persaingan ruang gerak konsumsi oksigen. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui jumlah kepadatan optimal untuk benur udang vannamei (Litopenaeus vannamei) ukuran pl 7 pada pengangkutan sistem tertutup selama kurang lebih 7 jam pengangkutan. Rancangan yang dilakukan adalah rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) dengan 6 perlakuan dan 4 kali ulangan. Perlakuan a: kepadatan 2000 ekor/ liter, perlakuan b : 2500 ekor/L, perlakuan c : 3000 ekor/L, perlakuan d : 3500 ekor/L, perlakuan e : 4000 ekor/L, perlakuan f : 4500 ekor/L. Sampel penelitian ini menggunakan benur vaname pl-7 diperoleh dari upbl situbondo yang kemudian dilakukan proses transportasi menuju ibap prigi dengan durasi waktu 7 jam. Berdasarkan hasil dari penelitian yang telah dilakukan dan dianalisis dengan statistik didapati bahwa kepadatan yang berbeda berpengaruh nyata terhadap tingkat kelangsungan hidup benur vaname pl-7 pada pengangkutan dengan sistem basah tertutup dan perlakuan (a) memberi hasil tertinggi dengan nilai kelangsungan hidup sebesar 97,55%. Parameter kualitas air berada dalam kisaran normal yaitu suhu air berkisar antara 23-26 0C, salinitas 31 ppm, ph 7,1 -7,8 dan oksigen terlarut 4-6 ppmKata Kunci: benur, Kepadatan, Kelangsungan Hidup, Transportasi, vanameABSTRACTFishery commodities, especially fry, are inseparable from the transportation process, however, in this process, mortality problems of fry are often found, one of which is related to density which impacts competition for space for oxygen consumption. The purpose of this study was to determine the optimal density for vannamei shrimp fry (Litopenaeus vannamei) size pl 7 in a closed system transportation for approximately 7 hours of transportation. The design used was a completely randomized design (CRD) with 6 treatments and 4 replications. Treatment a: density of 2000 individuals/liter, treatment b: 2500 individuals/liter, treatment c: 3000 individuals/liter, treatment d: 3500 individuals/liter, treatment e: 4000 individuals/liter, treatment f: 4500 individuals/liter. The sample of this study used vaname fry pl-7 obtained from UPBL Situbondo which was then transported to Ibap Prigi with a duration of 7 hours. Based on the results of the research that has been conducted and analyzed statistically, it was found that different desities significantly affected the survival rate of vaname pl-7 fry in transportation using a closed wet system and treatment (a) gave the highest results with a survival rate of 97.55%. Water quality parameters were within the normal range, namely water temperature ranging from 23-26 0C, salinity 31 ppm, pH 7.1-7.8 and dissolved oxygen 4-6 ppm.Keywords: Fry, Density, Survival, Transportation, Vaname

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine which dose of turmeric (Curcuma longa linn) extract had the greatest impact on the growth rate of tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) fry. The approach used was experimental, with direct observation used to collect data. Four levels of turmeric extract treatment were used in a completely randomized design (CRD): treatment (A) commercial feed (control), treatment (B) turmeric extract 20 ml/kg feed, treatment (C) turmeric extract 50 ml/kg feed, and treatment (D) turmeric extract 80 ml/kg feed. The results showed that the best treatment was treatment D (80 ml/kg feed) with an average specific growth rate of 19.83%. Water quality observations indicate that overall water quality remains at optimal levels to support the life of saline tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) fry, with temperatures ranging from 27.2 to 31.1ºC, salinity ranging from 0.16 to 3.5 ppt, pH ranging from 4.7 to 8.63, and dissolved oxygen ranging from 9.4 to 15.08 mg/L.
