Abstract

The prevalence of stunting in Indonesia is still high at 30,8%. Low protein intake is one of the causes of stunting. The purpose of this study was to determine the nutritional analysis and organoleptic quality in cork fish sausages. This study used a completely randomized design with 3 repetitions. Nutrient analysis was obtained from the Luff schroll test for carbohydrates, fat test with shoxlet and protein test with micro kjedhall. Organoleptic quality with acceptance of taste, texture, color and aroma by descriptive. Research results with univariate analisis were the highest nutrient content of protein and carbohydrate in formula F1 (100%) is protein (16.71%) and carbohydrate (20.14%) and the highest fat content in formula F3 (60%) is as much as (18.52%). The most preferred organoleptic quality for aroma and taste is in formula F1 (100%), texture is in formula F2(80%) and the most preferred color is in formula F3 (60%). The recommendation for prevent stunting can be used F1 formula.

Abstract

Stunting in Indonesia is a very serious problem because the percentage is above form cut off point of World Health Organization is only 20%. The results of South East Asia Nutritions Surveys (SEANUTS), around 24.1% of boys and 24.3% of girls in Indonesia are stunted. Based on Basic Health Research (2018), the incidence of stunting among children under five in South Sulawesi is still high, which is above 30% and South Sulawesi is the fourth highest in Indonesia. One of the preventive efforts to reduce stunting from an early age by nutrition health education through developing an electronic module about stunting as a method of nutrition health education which contains information about stunting. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of nutrion health education on students' knowledge and attitudes through the development of the E-Module "Against Stunting" at SMU Negeri 1 Makassar City. The research method used is a Quasi Experiment, with a total sample of 64 students based on inclusion and exclusion criteria and then divided into the intervention group and the control group. Before the intervention, a pre-test was carried out on the two groups, then students in the intervention group were given nutrition education through an e-module containing knowledge about stunting, its causes and prevention continuously every week and at the end, a post test was carried out on the intervention group and the control group. The data collected were analyzed using the Man Whitney test. The results showed that there was an effect of nutrition heath education on increasing the knowledge and attitudes of students at SMU Negeri 1 Makassar City.

Abstract

Vegetables and fruits consumption in adolescents is very important and contains many nutrients such as vitamins, minerals and fiber in achieving a healthy lifestyle with balanced nutrition. Some vitamins and minerals contained in vegetables and fruits have antioxidant functions that can reduce the incidence of non-communicable diseases associated with nutrition, as a result of overweight or malnutrition. Vegetables and fruits are also rich in vitamins and minerals that play a role in the metabolic system in the body including energy metabolism. The aim of this study is to analysis the relationship vegetable and fruit consumption with the incidence of obesity in SMA Negeri 1 Mamuju 2016. Design of this study is analytic research with cros sectional approach. Samples are 280 students of SMU Negeri 1 Kabupaten Mamuju with sampling method by systematic random sampling. The results of the research for the consumption of vegetable category is quite as many as 114 people (40.7%) and less vegetable consumption of 166 people (59.3%). Chi-square test results obtained p > ​​0.05, there is no relationship between vegetable consumption with the incidence of obesity. For the consumption of enough fruits as many as 92 people (32.9%) and less fruit consumption of 188 people (67.1%). Chi-square test results obtained p value > 0.05 , there is no relationship between fruit consumption with the incidence of obesity. Suggestions in this study is the need for intensive information about the importance of healthy lifestyles and balanced nutrition for adolescents to achieve the ideal body weight.

Abstract

Nutritional knowledge about the selection of good snack foods affects the intake of snack foods for school children, the final result of food intake will affect nutritional status. This study aims to determine the relationship of knowledge about street food to the nutritional status of Inpres Borong Jambu I Elementary School students, Makassar City. This research is an analytical research with a cross sectional study design. The samples were elementary school students in grades III, IV, V, and VI, totaling 82 students. Knowledge about street food was collected by filling out a questionnaire. Nutritional status is known through anthropometric measurements, namely height for age and then processed using the WHO Antro application. To find out the relationship between knowledge about street food and nutritional status, a Chi-Square statistical test was carried out using the SPSS program. Data is presented in the form of frequency distribution tables and narratives. The results showed that elementary school students' knowledge of snack foods was generally good, namely 93.9%, and normal nutritional status, namely 78.0%. Statistical analysis revealed that there was no relationship between knowledge about snack foods and nutritional status with a value of p = 0.913 (p <0.05). It is suggested that in order to develop research related to the relationship between knowledge about snack food and the nutritional status of elementary school students, the school pays more attention to the snack food sold at school and parents pay more attention to children's food consumption.Keywords : Knowledge, Nutritional status, Snacks.

Abstract

Dyspepsia syndrome is one of the many digestive tract disorders which is often a complaint and is a public health problem. The incidence of dyspepsia in 2021 is expected to increase from 10 million to 28 million people, accounting for 11.3% of the total population in Indonesia. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between stress factors, eating regularity, and consumption of irritative food or drinks on the incidence of dyspepsia syndrome in final year students of D.IV Study Program, Poltekkes Kemenkes Makassar.This research is an analytical research with a cross sectional approach. The research was conducted online at the Department of Physiotherapy, Dental Nursing, partly for the Department of Environmental Health, Medical Laboratory Technology, Pharmacy and Nutrition and offline partly for the Department of Environmental Health, Nutrition, Pharmacy and Medical Laboratory Technology. The research was conducted in November 2022 - February 2023. The research sample was final year students of the Makassar Ministry of Health Poltekkes with a total of 198 people using a random sampling system. Data on stress factors, eating regularity, consumption of irritative food or drinks and dyspepsia syndrome were obtained using a questionnaire. Data from the results of this study were processed by statistical tests using the chi-square test.The results showed that there was a relationship between stress level and the incidence of dyspepsia syndrome (P = 0.00), there was no relationship between eating regularity and the incidence of dyspepsia syndrome (P = 0.257), there was no relationship between consumption of irritative food or drink with the incidence of dyspepsia syndrome (P = 0.440).Suggestions for students to motivate themselves to consume food regularly, reduce consumption of irritating foods or drinks, and habits that can cause stress in order to avoid dyspepsia syndrome.Keywords        : irritative , stress, dyspepsia syndrome.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Stunting merupakan suatu keadaan tinggi badan (TB) balita yang tidak sesuai dengan umur, yang dilakukan melalui perhitungan z-score Tinggi Badan menurut Umur (TB/U). Menurut Data Riskesdas tahun 2018, provinsi Sulawesi Selatan adalah provinsi dengan prevalensi stunting tertinggi keempat di Indonesia (35,7%). Proses tumbuh kembang yang terganggu  disebabkan oleh penyebab langsung maupun tidak langsung seperti riwayat kunjungan Antenatal Care (ANC). Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kunjungan Antenatal Care (ANC), kelengkapan pelayanan 10T, dan panjang badan lahir dengan kejadian stunting pada bayi usia 6-23 bulan di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Lau Kabupaten Maros. Metode: Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah jenis penelitian observasional analitik dengan desain Cross Sectional. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Desa Bonto Marannu pada bulan juni 2021. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh bayi usia 6-23 bulan di Desa Bonto Marannu berjumlah 84 bayi. Penentuan jumlah sampel ditentukan menggunakan rumus slovin dan diperoleh sampel sebanyak 70 bayi usia 6-23 bulan. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik accidental sampling yang dilakukan di 3 posyandu yang berada di Desa Bonto Marannu. Analisis data meliputi analisis univariat dan bivariat menggunakan uji Chi-Square. Hasil: Analisis bivariat menunjukkan terdapat hubungan antara kunjungan Antenatal Care (ANC) dengan kejadian stunting (p value = 0,000). Terdapat hubungan kelengkapan pelayanan 10T dengan kejadian stunting (p value = 0,001). Terdapat hubungan panjang badan lahir dengan kejadian stunting (p badan lahir dengan kejadian stunting (p value = 0,011). Kesimpulan: terdapat hubungan kunjungan Antenatal Care, kelengkapan pelayanan 10T, dan panjang badan lahir dengan kejadian stunting.Kata Kunci  : Baduta, Kunjungan Antenatal Care, Stunting

Abstract

Stunting is a nutritional problem faced in various parts of the world, especially in poor countries and developing countries. Prevalence of Stunting in Indonesia based on the results of the Indonesian Nutrition Status Study (SSGI) in 2019 was 27.7% and in 2021 it was 24.4%.  In South Sulawesi, the prevalence of Stunting based on SSGI results in 2021 is 27% while the prevalence of Stunting in Gowa Regency is 33%. The Objectives of this study to Investigating the correlation between stunting and parenting, nutrient intake, infectious diseases, and environmental sanitation.  This research method is observational and analytical with a case-control research design. The number of samples was 38 consisting of 19 working toddler mothers who had Stunting toddlers as a case group and 19 working toddler mothers who had non-Stunting toddlers as a control group. Research results show a foster-pattern connection with Stunting (p= 0,012), there is a connection between protein nutrient intake and stunting (p= 0,020), there is a connection between fat nutrient intake and stunting (p= 0,017), there is a connection between carbohydrate nutrient intake and stunting (p= 0,007). It was concluded that the Stunting incident in toddlers aged 24 to 59 months was related to foster patterns and nutritional substance intake but was not related to infectious diseases and environmental sanitation.

Abstract

Dimasa pandemi covid-19, pemenuhan kebutuhan gizi bisa dimulai dengan pola makan yang baik dan juga pengetahuan yang baik tentang gizi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan pengetahuan gizi dan pola makan yang baik selama pandemi covid-19 pada mahasiswa Jurusan Fisioterapi Poltekkes Kemenkes Makassar.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif. Sampel adalah mahasiswa Jurusan Fisioterapi Poltekkes Kemenkes Makassar yang berjumlah 71 orang dan dipilih secara random sampling. Data pengetahuan gizi diperoleh dengan pengisian form kuesioner, data pola makan diperoleh dengan pengisian food frequency dan data status gizi diperoleh dengan pengukuran antropometri Berat Badan dan Tinggi Badan. Untuk mengetahui hubungan antara variabel pengetahuan gizi dan pola makan terhadap status gizi dilakukan uji chi-square dengan menggunakan program spss.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada hubungan antara pengetahuan gizi terhadap status gizi dengan nilai hitung p-value 0,396 > 0,05 dan terdapat hubungan antara pola makan terhadap status gizi dengan nilai p-value 0,038 < 0,05.Saran pada penelitian ini adalah perlu dipertahankan pada tingkat pengetahuan gizi dan perlu dilakukan penelitian lanjutan pada faktor lain seperti aktifitas fisik, ekonomi dan faktor lainnya.

Abstract

The Medical Record Information System (SIRM) will simplify the patient health examination process with integrated access to medical record data, thereby reducing the error rate in the examination process. Research objectives: To find out how the electronic medical record system is implemented in nursing in the outpatient unit of RSUD Haji Makassar. This research is a type of quantitative research that uses a cross-sectional study design approach. The sample for this study consisted of 80 nurses who worked in the outpatient unit of RSUD Haji Makassar. the implementation of an electronic medical record system is seen from work expectations, business expectations, social influence and facility conditions.
