Abstract

Islamic Religious Education is accused of shackling the development of Science and Technology. The practice of dichotomy and secularization between General Sciences and Islamic Sciences resulted in the inability of Muslims to integrate knowledge integrally. There have actually been many attempts by practitioners of Islamic Religious Education to integrate them, but they have not yet found a final formulation (ongoing process), especially at the philosophical level. One of the Islamic Religious Education Institutions that has the spirit of integrating integral ideas is SDIT BIAS Indonesia which was born in 1994 and became the pioneer of Integrated Islamic Religious Education in Yogyakarta. On this basis, researchers are interested in formulating philosophical ideas in the form of a concept map based on the SDIT BIAS Indonesia Integrated Curriculum. The results of this study are a review and critical analysis of the philosophical concepts contained in the 2018 BIAS Indonesia SD curriculum.

Abstract

This research seeks to reveal a perspective initiative in responding to religious plurality in Indonesia with an integrated approach to Islamic epistemology so that a moderate understanding can be obtained that is neither extreme-left nor extreme-right. This research is based on cases of intolerance in Indonesia, such as the ban on Christian worship in Bangsal, Mojokerto, East Java (2020), the burning of churches in Singkil, Aceh (2015), and the ban on the establishment of Hindu places of worship in Bekasi (2019), which triggered a debate on Indonesian social media that led to hate speech between religious people. This research is a qualitative descriptive study with a phenomenological approach to these cases. This study will answer 1. Discourse on Religious moderation Education in Indonesia 2. The model of Islamic integrity epistemology in responding to religious plurality in Indonesia 3. Implications of the integration of Islamic epistemology on pluralism. Abstract

This study aims to describe the method of Islamic education in the elderly pesantren ahsanu 'amala. This type of research is field research with qualitative methods. The objects in the study are Islamic boarding school leaders, teachers or teachers, and elderly students. Data collection techniques by means of interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis techniques by means of data reduction, data display and conclusion drawing. To test the validity of the data, credibility, transferability, dependability and confirmability tests are carried out. The results of research on Islamic education methods in the ahsanu 'amala elderly boarding school were carried out with 4 methods, namely reading and memorization methods, lecture methods, discussion methods, and natural tadabbur.

Abstract

This article is motivated by the fact that educational innovation in Indonesia is still low, this is reflected in the competitiveness of Indonesian human resources which is still weak when compared to Southeast Asian countries. The presence of the theory of pragmatism is expected to be a theoretical alternative to the approach of Islamic education innovation. This article seeks to formulate the design and innovation process of Islamic Education based on qualitative research and literature studies. This article is a philosophical study as an effort to construct the process of Islamic Education innovation from the perspective of Islamic philosophy and pragmatism. This study concludes that the innovation process is a necessity. In the Islamic perspective, aqidah sohihah is the key and initial step in finding the purity of Islamic education innovation. Whereas pragmatism offers an innovative process of Islamic education based on systematic steps that begin with reflective criticism, diagnosis, inventory, reflection, testing of hypotheses, public analysis, and finally implementation.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the recruitment system of educators at SDIT Salsabila 3 Banguntapan Yogyakarta, and improve the quality of education through the recruitment system of educators. The study employed a qualitative descriptive methodology. Data was collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis from a selected group of school staff. The results showed that the recruitment system for educators at SDIT Salsabila 3 Banguntapan Yogyakarta was described in several stages, namely, administration, interview stages, and reading and writing the Qur'an and micro teaching. The school is looking for qualified educators according to the profile and has a teaching commitment to improve the quality of education at SDIT Salsabila 3 Banguntapan. The school's efforts in improving quality by conducting development programs for educators and evaluation activities every week. The school provides facilities in developing the talents and interests of students with extracurricular and simaan activities to increase memorization which is carried out twice a week. The implications of recruiting educators have loyalty and commitment in teaching. Before prospective educators officially become educators at SDIT Salsabila 3 Banguntapan make a work contract agreement first according to the applicable work agreement

Abstract

Islamic education in Indonesia is faced with inadequate quality and quantity of teachers, as well as very low educational effectiveness. This can hinder the achievement of educational goals. Leadership is one of the factors that determine the success of educational programs. A leader's leadership style refers to his traits, knowledge, skills, and problem-solving abilities. This research is qualitative, with a library research method, which aims to find out the characteristics of Abu Bakar Ash-Shiddiq's charismatic leadership listed in the book Al-Bidayah wan Nihayah and find out whether these characteristics have relevance to leadership in Islamic higher education. The subject of this research is the head of the Islamic Education Management  study program (MPI) at STAI Terpadu Yogyakarta. Data were collected using interview and documentation techniques, and the validity of the data was tested using triangulation techniques. The results of the study state that the book Al-Bidayah wan Nihayah explains the leadership characteristics of Abu Bakar Ash-Shiddiq which are shown through wise, fair and not favoritism, determined and firm, as well as caring and compassion. These characteristics are relevant to the leadership style of the head of MPI STAI Terpadu Yogyakarta.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk meneliti sistem pendidikan pada masa dinasti umayah dan dinasi bani abbasiyah dengan kajian analisis komparatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualititatif perspektif kajian historis, sumber data diperoleh dari studi pustaka, Teknik analisis menggunakan konten analisis. Kesimpulan pada penelitian ini mebuktikan bahwa keadan sistem pendidikan pada masa dinasti abbasiyah lebih maju, lengkap dan kokoh di bandingkan pada masa dinasti ummayah hal itu sejalan dengan peran pendidikan dalam mewujudkan kejayan pada masa dinasti abbasiyah. Kemajuan sistem pendidikan pada zaman dinasti abbasiyah di dukung oleh keadaan ekonomi, sosial, politik dan keagaman yang stabil sehingga menciptakan atmosfir akademik yang kondusif dan baik.

Abstract

Work culture is a crucial issue in the world of education, considering the still rampant cases of teachers resigning (turnover) due to a less than ideal work environment. This condition can have serious impacts, such as a shortage of teaching staff, an increase in the ratio of students to teachers, and a decrease in the quality of learning. This study aims to map Gen Z's perceptions of the ideal work culture in the school environment. The subjects of the study were students of the Islamic Education Management Study Program (MPI) of STAI Terpadu Yogyakarta who had participated in educational internships at Islamic educational institutions. The approach used was phenomenology, data collection techniques through open surveys based on Google Form. Data analysis was carried out using NVivo 12 software, data validity testing through peer debriefing techniques. The results of the study showed that Gen Z's main priorities in an ideal work culture are comfort including clear communication, a collaborative environment, flexibility, life balance (mental) and rejecting the hierarchy of superiors and subordinates (embracing each other). Gen Z also wants career development through various self-development and technology adaptations. In addition, the aspect of appreciation is also important, both in the form of verbal appreciation and real incentives. Modern facilities are an attraction for Gen Z, while salary is also important for Gen Z but is not the main priority in showing loyalty and performance to the institution. This finding is important as a reference for curriculum development in universities and educational institutions' strategies in creating a work culture that suits the characteristics of Gen Z.

Abstract

The need for learning facilities and infrastructure in inclusive PAUD (Early Childhood Education) is still limited. This study aims to contribute to every manager of inclusive and regular PAUD institutions in providing learning infrastructure needs for all students based on applicable standards or provisions. The research method uses a qualitative method of literature study. Miles and Huberman's interactive analysis carried out the data analysis technique, which consisted of data collection, reduction, presentation, and conclusion. Data was collected from reading references such as articles, books, and inclusive PAUD POS issued by the Indonesian Ministry of Education and Culture. The study's results found that each characteristic of children with special needs has different needs for facilities and infrastructure. In addition, it was found that several infrastructure facilities could be designated for other different types of children with special needs characteristics, such as rooms, equipment, media, and student learning resources. The conclusion is that inclusive PAUD institutions need to provide modified infrastructure based on each characteristic of children with special needs so that they can be used inclusively.
