Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui penggunaan media sosial di kalangan Mahasiswa Gen Z di era Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka di Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan dan Sastra. Jenis penelitian ini adalah purposive sampling. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh Mahasiswa Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan dan Sastra semester Gasal 2023/2024. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 125 responden. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui instrumen angket kemudian  diperdalam melalui wawancara. Dari data hasil penelitian ini diperoleh bahwa: 1) pengguna media sosial lebih cenderung digunakan oleh perempuan, 2) seluruh Mahasiswa mengenal dan tahu cara mengakses media sosial, 3) platform media sosial yang paling sering digunakan adalah WhatsApp, 4) lama penggunaan media sosial rata-rata 3-5 jam/hari, 5) dana yang digunakan oleh Mahasiswa dalam bermedia sosial adalah Rp50.000-Rp100.000 dalam sebulan, 6) media sosial paling sering digunakan untuk berkomunikasi. Media sosial bermanfaat juga untuk berjualan online, berbelanja, menjadi konten kreator, mencari pekerjaan, serta belajar bisnis untuk pemula.

Abstract

Sekolah dasar adalah tingkat pendidikan dasar yang dibutuhkan oleh siswa untuk mengikuti pendidikan lebih lanjut. Sekolah dasar bertujuan agar setiap siswa mampu mengembangkan aspek kognitif, psikomotorik, dan motoriknya. Berhitung merupakan aspek kognitif yang harus dimiliki siswa. Selain menulis dan membaca, siswa juga memiliki tugas belajar berhitung. Kemampuan berhitung siswa dapat dikembangkan dengan guru melaksanakan proses pembelajaran melalui kegiatan bermain. Dengan bermain, minat belajar anak dapat ditingkatkan. Ular Tangga merupakan salah satu permainan yang dimodifikasi menjadi sebuah media pembelajaran yang edukatif. Tujuan pembuatan media pembelajaran ular tangga, yaitu agar kemampuan berhitung siswa kelas III SD Inpres Bontobila dapat dikembangkan. Dalam pengabdian ini, digunakan 2 metode, yaitu metode deskriptif dan pendekatan kualitatif. Berdasarkan penggunaan media pembelajaran ular tangga dalam pembelajaran, dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa: 1) Kemampuan berhitung siswa dapat ditingkatkan melalui media ular tangga, 2) Media ular tangga memiliki kualitas yang layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran, 3) Media dapat menunjang peningkatan hasil belajar siswa 4) Media mampu meningkatkan semangat belajar siswa karena pembelajaran tidak membuat siswa jenuh

Abstract

The objective of this research aimed to find out the influence of using Voice of America (VOA) Learning English on students’ reading comprehension of the eleventh grade students at SMAN 18 Makassar. The design of this research was an experimental research. The population of this research were the eleventh grade students of SMAN 18 Makassar. The sample of this research was the students in XI science 1. The research instruments used by the researcher were test and questionnaires. The test was used to measure the students’ reading comprehension before and after treatment and the questionnaire was used to collect information about the students’ interest in learning reading by using VOA Learning English. The form of the test was multiple choices and consist of twenty items. The techniques used in collecting the data were pre-test and post-test. Pre-test was administered before the researcher began the teaching learning process and post-test was administered after treatment. In testing the hypothesis, t-test was employed. The calculation was done by using SPSS v.20 The findings of this research was T-test result revealed that sig. (tailed) was 0.000. The outcome indicated that the sig. (2-tailed) table was less significant than the level of significance. As a result, the alternative hypothesis (H1) was accepted, while the null hypothesis (H0) was rejected. It means that implementing Voice of America (VOA) Learning English in the eleventh grade of Science 1 at SMAN 18 Makassar in the academic year 2023/2024 can improve students' reading comprehension ability. Therefore, it can be concluded that teaching English reading comprehension by using VOA Learning English had a significant influence and it was more effective.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to know how to improve students’ vocabulary on Circle Game at the tenth grade of SMK Negeri 7 Bulukumba. The researcher applied pre experimental in one class pre-test and post-test. In this research the population was the Tenth-grade students of SMKN 7 Bulukumba in 2023/2024 academic year. The researcher used total sampling technique. The total sample was 20 students from class X TKJ. In analyzing the numerical data, the writer used SPSS version 24.0. Based on the results of data analysis, the writer concluded that the use of Circle Game can increase students’ vocabulary knowledge, it’s proved by the mean score of the students’ in pretest and post-test. The result of the research shows that Circle Game significantly increased students’ vocabulary knowledge after did treatment where the results shown in the paired sample test are 0.001 is smaller than 0.05. The mean score improved from 49.75 in pre-test to 68.75 in post-test. It indicated that the one hypothesis (H1) was accepted and of course, the null hypothesis (H0) was rejected. It means that Circle Game can improve the students’ vocabulary knowledge in learning English at SMK Negeri 7 Bulukumba. Key Words: Circle Game, Strategy, Vocabulary

Abstract

Gemini AI-based learning design training at SD Inpres Monginsidi Makassar City aims to improve teachers' competence in utilising artificial intelligence (AI) technology to create more innovative, adaptive, and effective learning. The training was attended by 30 teachers who were given materials on the introduction of Gemini AI, how to use the platform to design learning that suits students' needs, as well as hands-on practice in designing and implementing technology-based lesson plans. The Gemini AI-based learning design training at SD Inpres Monginsidi used a participatory and collaborative approach. The training method also applied in the service programme consists of several stages designed to maximise teachers' understanding and skills in using Gemini AI technology. The results of the training showed an increase in teachers' ability to design digital learning that is more interactive and personalised. Despite challenges in terms of infrastructure and mental readiness, the training succeeded in expanding teachers' understanding of artificial intelligence technology and its use in education. Thus, the results of this training contribute significantly to strengthening teachers' competencies and improving the quality of learning in primary schools.

Abstract

This research aimed to find out whether or not the used performing drama had effect on students pronunciation. The writer used quasy experimental method which involved one class as the subject of the research. The population was VII grade students at SMP Kristen YHS Makassar. Sample in this research was class VII C which consists of 27 students. In this research the writer gathering data by given oral test in pre-test and post-test consist of 10 words to be pronounce by the students. All of the words the writer took from the script of Cinderella. Pre-test is given to find out how far the students ability before they were given treatment by performing drama. The writer gave the post test to know the students improvement after they were given treatment. The writer analyzed data to find the mean score, the different between pre-test and post-test used statistic formula. The result of the research showed that there was a significant different which gained by the students in pre-test and post-test. it can be concluded that performing drama in teaching speaking has significant effect on students’ pronunciation at SMP Kristen YHS Makassar. It can be seen from the students’ mean score of posttest which was 77 and the t-test of the students’ pronunciation achievement in posttest was higher than α (23.085 > 0.05).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menunjukkan bagaimana pembuatan logo dan eduwisata dapat membantu memperkuat ekonomi masyarakat melalui UMKM. Studi ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan melibatkan wawancara dan observasi terhadap UMKM yang telah mengaplikasikan pembuatan logo dan eduwisata dalam bisnis mereka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembuatan logo yang kuat dapat membantu UMKM meningkatkan pengakuan merek dan kesadaran, yang pada gilirannya dapat membantu mereka memperluas pangsa pasar dan meningkatkan pendapatan. Kegiatan eduwisata yang dikembangkan oleh UMKM juga dapat membantu memperkuat diversifikasi ekonomi dan membantu menciptakan lapangan kerja. Secara keseluruhan, hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pemberdayaan ekonomi masyarakat melalui pembuatan logo dan eduwisata untuk UMKM dapat membantu memperkuat ekonomi lokal dan nasional.

Abstract

Abstrak. Kemajuan teknologi digital menuntut pendidik untuk mengintegrasikan media digital dalam pembelajaran. Salah satu platform yang mendukung pembelajaran interaktif adalah Canva, aplikasi desain daring yang memungkinkan penyusunan materi ajar secara visual dan menarik. Penelitian ini menggambarkan pelaksanaan dan dampak pelatihan penggunaan Canva yang dilaksanakan oleh tim Kampus Mengajar Angkatan 8 di SMP Negeri 2 Bajeng Barat, sebagai bagian dari pengabdian kepada masyarakat untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru. Pelatihan dirancang secara kontekstual sesuai tantangan wilayah semi-urban, seperti keterbatasan teknologi dan literasi digital. Menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, pelatihan melibatkan observasi, praktik, dan evaluasi. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas guru sebelumnya belum mengenal Canva dan masih mengandalkan metode ceramah. Namun, setelah pelatihan dua hari, sebagian besar peserta berhasil membuat media ajar visual seperti poster, presentasi, dan kuis interaktif. Media ini terbukti meningkatkan partisipasi dan pemahaman siswa, serta menumbuhkan rasa percaya diri guru dalam pemanfaatan teknologi. Pelatihan ini juga memicu terbentuknya komunitas berbagi antar guru, menunjukkan potensi Canva sebagai sarana pengembangan profesional berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This study explores the challenges and adaptive strategies employed by lecturers in implementing hybrid learning for English for Business (EfB) instruction within an Indonesian higher education context. Grounded in Connectivism, Sociocultural Theory, and Bloom’s revised taxonomy, the study employs a qualitative descriptive design involving semi-structured interviews with four experienced EfB lecturers, classroom observations, and document analysis. Thematic analysis revealed four interrelated domains: (1) disparities in access to technology and digital fluency, (2) limited interactional engagement in online settings, (3) underdeveloped information-management skills among students, and (4) lecturer readiness and workload concerns in hybrid environments. Findings indicate that infrastructural limitations and the digital divide significantly constrain equitable participation and pragmatic language use in hybrid classrooms. However, proactive instructional strategies such as the provision of offline materials, structured micro-tasks, and embedded digital literacy training can mitigate these challenges. The study underscores the centrality of technological, pedagogical, and institutional connectivity in shaping hybrid learning outcomes. It contributes to the growing body of HyFlex and ESP scholarship by offering context-rich insights from the Global South and provides implications for educators, institutional leaders, and policymakers seeking to design inclusive and resilient hybrid learning systems.
