Abstract

The research aimed to examine the influence of leadership style, communication, and work discipline on employee performance at PT. Indostar Sukses Mandiri Medan. The population and sample in this study are all permanent employees. They were required to fill out a questionnaire. The analysis used in this study was multiple linear regression. The results showed that partially leadership style had a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Additionally, communication and work discipline had a positive and significant effect on the employee performance of PT Indostar Sukses Mandiri Medan. Simultaneously leadership style, communication and work discipline have a positive and significant effect on employee performance of PT. Indostar Sukses Mandiri Medan.

Abstract

The main objective of this study is to determine how promotion opportunities, salary levels, and workload affect the productivity of employees at the North Sumatra Provincial Social Service. This research will be conducted at the North Sumatra Provincial Social Service, located at Jl. Sampul No. 138, Sei Putih Barat, Medan Petisah District, Medan City, North Sumatra. The study population consists of seventy-eight individuals working at the North Sumatra Provincial Social Service as Civil Doctor Assistants (APN). This study used a saturated sample of 78 APN staff, selected using a non-probability sampling method. This study employed a Likert scale. The methods used to analyze the data included the coefficient of determination test, multiple linear regression, classical assumptions, and hypothesis testing. The results indicate that promotion opportunities, salary levels, and workload have a moderating effect on employee productivity at the North Sumatra Provincial Social Service. The North Sumatra Provincial Social Service considers promotion opportunities, salary levels, and workload in evaluating employee performance.

Abstract

Ameri Jasa Antares Andalan adalah perusahaan jasa keamanan yang tengah mengalami penurunan kinerja karyawan, ditandai dengan menurunnya kualitas, kuantitas, ketepatan waktu, dan kemampuan menyelesaikan tugas. Hal ini disebabkan oleh kurangnya ketelitian, keterlambatan, serta manajemen waktu dan keterampilan kerja yang tidak optimal. Penurunan kinerja diduga dipengaruhi oleh lingkungan kerja yang kurang mendukung (pencahayaan, suhu, hubungan antar karyawan), rendahnya disiplin (sering terlambat dan absen), serta stres kerja akibat tekanan dan tuntutan berlebih. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh lingkungan kerja, disiplin, dan stres terhadap kinerja karyawan. Seluruh populasi karyawan sebanyak 97 orang dijadikan sampel (sampel jenuh). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ketiga variabel tersebut, baik secara parsial maupun simultan, berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan di PT. Ameri Jasa Antares Andalan Medan.

Abstract

This investigation purposes to analyze the influence of competence, communication, and work ethic on employee effectiveness at the Governor’s Office of North Sumatra. The background of this research is based on the importance of human resource quality in achieving organizational goals, particularly in the public sector which requires effective and efficient public services. The study employed a quantitative approach by involving all administrative employees as respondents, and the data were analyzed utilizing multiple linear regression. The outcomes reveal that competence, communication, and work ethic each have a positive and significant impact on work effectiveness, both partially and simultaneously. This indicates that employee effectiveness is strongly affected by skills, knowledge, clear communication patterns, and a strong work ethic. These findings imply that management needs to prioritize competence development, establish effective communication, and foster a high work ethic to achieve optimal employee effectiveness
