Abstract

Sampel berjumlah 22 pemain putra Bacici yang dibagi menjadi kelompok four square in the air (n=11) dan kelompok overlap and pass (n=11). Kata kunci: four square in the air; overlap and pass; passing; sepak bola; latihan Teknik.

Abstract

in 2022. This research employed a quantitative method, with a population consisting of all 20 players of the Dertien Mataram basketball club, using a total sampling technique. To measure VO₂ max endurance and passing skills, the instruments used were the bleep test and a passing accuracy test. The results showed that VO₂ max endurance in the pretest had a maximum score of 41.5 and a minimum of 27.2, while in the posttest the maximum score increased to 42.0 and the minimum to 27.8. Meanwhile, passing skills in the pretest had a maximum score of 12 and a minimum of 7, and in the posttest the maximum score increased to 14 and the minimum to 10. Based on the t-test calculation, the result for VO₂ max endurance was 7.225, and for passing skills was 12.650.

Abstract

Basketball shooting performance frequently declines under fatigue conditions, yet evidence regarding training approaches specifically designed to improve shooting accuracy in fatigue-related situations remains limited. While previous studies have examined the acute effects of fatigue on shooting performance, fewer studies have investigated training interventions that repeatedly expose players to game-like fatigue during shooting execution. This study aimed to determine the effect of full court skill and drill training on basketball players’ shooting accuracy under fatigue conditions. The study used a pre-experimental one-group pretest–posttest design involving 15 players from Momentum Basketball Club selected through total sampling. The intervention was conducted for three weeks with a frequency of three sessions per week. Each session integrated dribbling, passing, transition movement, sprinting, and shooting drills across the full court to simulate game-like fatigue. Shooting accuracy was measured before and after the intervention using a shooting test performed after an intensive activity protocol. Data were analyzed using IBM SPSS Statistics through descriptive statistics, the Shapiro–Wilk normality test, paired-samples t-test, Wilcoxon signed-rank test, 95% confidence interval estimation, and Cohen’s dz effect size. The results showed that the mean pretest score increased from 3.33 to 6.67 in the posttest, with a mean gain of 3.33 points. The paired-samples t-test indicated a significant improvement, t(14) = 20.92, p < 0.001, with a very large effect size (Cohen’s dz = 5.40). The Wilcoxon signed-rank test confirmed the same conclusion, W = 0.00, p < 0.001. These findings indicate that full court skill and drill training is effective for improving shooting accuracy when players perform under fatigue. The study contributes practically to the design of basketball training programs that combine technical execution, physical load, and match-specific pressure

Abstract

Instrumen yang digunakan meliputi sit and reach, vertical jump, side step test, push-up, back-up, sit-up, dan bleep test.

Abstract

The main problem addressed in this study is the low level of ground passing skills among 14–16-year-old students at the Boxi Lombok Ku Soccer School, which is caused by monotonous and conventional training methods. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of one-touch small-sided games training on improving ground passing skills and to measure the extent of the improvement. The method used was a pre-experimental study with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The population consisted of 30 players, all of whom were included in the sample using total sampling. The instrument used was Bobby Charlton’s stop-passing test. Training was conducted three times a week for six weeks. Data analysis employed a paired t-test with a significance level of 0.05. The results showed an average score increase from 12.5 on the pretest to 18.9 on the posttest. The t-test yielded a calculated t-value of 15.782 with a Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.000 (< 0.05), indicating a significant difference. Cohen’s d effect size of 4.16 (very large effect) and an N-gain of 0.67 (moderate category) further support these findings. In conclusion, one-touch small-sided games have a significant effect on improving ground passing skills and can serve as an effective alternative training variation for young soccer players.
