Abstract

The formation of students' character and self-confidence based on noble cultural values can be formed from the education and culture around students. Culturally responsive teaching makes people aware of respecting and recognizing the reality of different tribes, religions, languages and ethnicities, and exploring the special aspects or uniqueness of students' culture and using them in planning and implementing learning. Development efforts are still very necessary, because: 1) Education is not enough to develop teacher professionalism. Many teachers take distance education/study outside the city. 2) Community Service Activities as an effort to organize education. 3) Cultural fusion as a border area. 4) Learning with a cultural background so that it can be introduced in learning. The solutions to partner problems that are addressed are: 1) The mixing of Javanese and Sundanese cultures as areas on the border is no longer considered a problem with the existence of acculturation (mixing of cultures) through the marriage process which has been carried out for a long time and produces Javanese and Sundanese descendants 2) Cultural conflict is not an obstacle because cultural acculturation has occurred in various activity sectors including religious and school activities using the language of instruction in both regions, so that it can be accepted by both parties in its delivery. 3) Community Service Activities are expected to be an implementation that can minimize inequality in technological progress and cultural inequality. 4) Culturally Responsive Teaching in daily learning is introduced by teachers through the Project Based Learning teaching module.

Abstract

Universities must carry out digital transformation in the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 and Society 5.0. The application of infor-mation technology brings the hope of increasing lecturer performance and ultimately improving student quality. The use of information technology and lecturer technological competence will help achieve optimal performance. The demands of the application of information technology are thought to cause a new phenomenon known as "tech-nostress", which is the negative effects and stress triggers that arise from the use of technology in various areas of life, including the work-place. This study offers lecturer technological competence variables because they have an impact on the effectiveness of the use of infor-mation technology, so that the model built combines three important variables (use of information technology, technological competence, and technostress) to explain lecturer performance in the digital era. The study will use a quantitative survey approach to solve the prob-lem. Data were analyzed using the structural equation modeling (SEM) method to test the hypothesized relationship. The results showed that there was an influence of the use of digital technology on technostress, while digital competence had a negative influence on technostress. The technostress variable had a negative influence on lecturer performance. This study is expected to provide a better un-derstanding of how the use of information technology, technological competence, and technostress affect lecturer performance in the digi-tal era. Based on existing findings to reduce the impact of tech-nostress due to the use of digital technology, lecturers' ability to mas-ter technology must be improved. The model built can be a basis for further, more specific research, for example investigating the influ-ence of certain technologies on technostress or the moderating role of other supporting factors.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the development process of a mathematics e-module integrated with Islamic values using Canva. The research employs a research and development (R&D) approach. The research design follows the ADDIE model, which comprises five stages: (1) Analysis, (2) Design, (3) Development, (4) Implementation, and (5) Evaluation. The data analysis technique utilized in this study is quantitative descriptive analysis. The development process begins with the analysis stage, which involves selecting the e-module as the instructional material based on problem identification and learning objectives to be included in the e-module. The design stage produces an e-module layout that includes an introduction, main content, and conclusion. Subsequently, the development stage encompasses the feasibility testing of the e-module through validation by subject matter experts in mathematics, Islamic studies, and media, all of whom rated it as "Highly Appropriate." A limited-scale trial also yielded "Highly Positive" responses from students. During the implementation stage, a broader scale trial was conducted, and the developed e-module received "Highly Positive" feedback from students, with a satisfaction rate of 89.02%. Lastly, the evaluation stage was carried out throughout the research process, from analysis to implementation. The outcome of this research is a Canva-developed e-module integrated with Islamic values.
