Abstract

This research aims to determine the effectiveness and impact of distributing zakat, infaq, and alms (ZIS) funds for educational programs at Wahdah Inspirasi Zakat, Southeast Sulawesi. This research uses descriptive qualitative research with field research methods. The approach used is a case study with data collection methods through observation, interviews, and documentation. From the research results, it was found that the distribution of ZIS funds to the education program at Wahdah Inspirasi Zakat, Southeast Sulawesi has not been effective, because the Zakat funds collected from 2020 to 2022 have not been distributed as a priority to the education program. However, Wahdah Inspiration Zakat Sultra has distributed these funds for routine education every year in a scholarship program. Apart from that, the zakat, infaq, and alms (ZIS) distribution program at Wahdah Inspirasi Zakat Southeast Sulawesi has had a positive impact on zakat, infaq, and alms (ZIS) mustahik, including students with assistance with education costs.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze how to plan, implement and supervise economic empowerment at the Darul Qur'an At-Taqwa DDI Jampue Islamic boarding school, Pinrang Regency. The type of research used is qualitative using a phenomenological approach. The sources of research data are boarding school leaders and Islamic boarding school business managers. Furthermore, the data collection methods used were observation, interviews and documentation. Then there are three stages of data management and analysis techniques: data collection, data processing, and drawing conclusions. The results of this research indicate that currently the Darul Qur'an At-Taqwa Ddi Jampue Islamic boarding school, Pinrang Regency, is not yet effective in carrying out its economic empowerment management. Planning for economic empowerment has not been well structured, including in terms of determining tasks and responsibilities, as well as clarity of vision and mission, however at the implementation stage economic activities in Islamic boarding schools have gone well, although the funds obtained are still not able to fully support Islamic boarding school empowerment. Supervision at this cottage has been carried out quite well, they have formed a supervisory team and hold regular meetings. The implications of this research are: a) For the Islamic boarding school and business managers of the Darul Qur'an At-Taqwa DDI Jampue Islamic boarding school, Pinrang Regency, they can explore further the business potential that can be developed in their area to provide opportunities for all students in the Islamic boarding school. . For santri and female students to be more active and enthusiastic in the economic empowerment process, because financial skills training is an added value that can be obtained from Islamic boarding schools.

Abstract

A country's economic development can grow if its business sector is doing well. To maintain the existence of business growth, a source of financing capital is needed. This research aims to critically examine the murabahah bil wakalah financing contract in Islamic banking and provide solutions to these problems. This research uses a qualitative method. This study is descriptive analytic in which data collection is carried out by reviewing the literature then analyzing and interpreting the content to produce conclusions and recommendations. The results of the study suggest that there are several problems that occur in the murabahah bil wakalah contract, including goods that are not fully owned by the bank, moral hazard in customers, and an explanation of the cost and profit. The solution is that banks are expected to form a special unit to purchase goods for customers, the need to emphasize the contract at the beginning of the transaction to prevent moral hazard, and the activeness of the sharia supervisory board in overseeing all transactions carried out at Islamic banks.

Abstract

One of the arrangements for equal wages for muslims is trough zakat. Zakat is an obligation for muslims to give to thoses in need. This research aims to determine the empowered food court program carried out by Baiyulmaal Muamalat South Sulawesi Selatan the welfare of mustahik. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. Based on the research results, the analysis regarding the effectiveness of the empowere food court program in improving in the welfare of mustahik is said to be ineffective. This can be seen from the efectiveness indicator used, there are 2 indicators that are not yet effective while the other 2 indicator are effective. It is said that the empowered foodcourt program has not been effective in improving the welfare of mustahik.

Abstract

This research aims to explain how the practice of paroan cooperation is implemented among rice farmers in Cialam Jaya Village, Konda District, how it is adapted from the perspective of cultural and Islamic traditions, and how it is adapted to the muzara'ah contract. This type of qualitative research uses several techniques, namely observation and interviews. The data analysis method used is data reduction; the results of the research show that in Cialam Jaya Village, Konda District, many people carry out cooperation agreements or what they call Paroan cooperation agreements, which are almost similar to the Muzara'ah agreement in Islam to carry out profit sharing cooperation in rice farming, but this does not mean that the people of Cialam Jaya village, Konda District, carry out the Paroan cooperation agreement in a haphazard manner but rather with the principles of transactions contained in Islam. The majority of Muslim communities make Paroan and muzara'ah cooperation contracts commensurate with fulfilling three elements in implementing the muzara'ah contract: (1) the existence of a contract or agreement between the land owner and the cultivator, (2) there is a profit-sharing system with a specific ratio, (3) the land owner provides all needs (seeds, fertilizer).

Abstract

Sharia economic and financial literacy plays a crucial role in shaping the mindset and financial decision-making of the younger generation, especially in Indonesia as a country with a Muslim majority population. However, the level of sharia financial literacy among the younger generation is still relatively low, which can have an impact on their understanding and participation in the sharia-based financial system. This study highlights efforts to improve sharia financial literacy through socialization activities at SMKN 1 Kalosi Enrekang, which involve lectures, interactive discussions, and educational approaches. This program aims to equip students with a comprehensive understanding of sharia financial principles and products, so that they can make financial decisions that are in accordance with Islamic values. In addition, the integration of sharia financial literacy in the education curriculum and the use of digital technology are expected to strengthen sharia financial inclusion and support sharia-based economic growth.

Abstract

Waste management in Makassar City is an increasingly pressing issue along with rapid population growth and urbanization. In this context, the main challenges faced are low public awareness, limited waste management infrastructure, and weak enforcement of regulations related to waste processing. This study aims to provide a better understanding to the public about the importance of sustainable waste management and to study waste management policies and practices in Indonesia and Malaysia. Through community service activities including field observations, interviews with stakeholders, counseling, and preparation of recommendations, it is hoped that applicable solutions can be found to overcome waste management problems. One of the proposed solutions is the development of a Waste Bank which functions as a means to manage and recycle waste more effectively. The results of the study indicate that active community participation, government support, and collaboration between various parties are essential to create a sustainable waste management system. The recommendations produced include increasing public awareness, utilizing technology in waste management, and strengthening policies that support community initiatives.

Abstract

Dalam praktik Kerjasama bagi hasil di bidang peternakan di Desa Tubbi Kecamatan Tubbi Taramanu, seseorang yang memiliki jumlah sapi yang lumayan banyak terkadang memberikan sebagian sapinya kepada orang lain untuk dipelihara, dalam kerjasama antara pemodal/pemilik sapi dan pemelihara ini menjadikan tradisi secara turun temurun menjadi landasan utama dalam praktek kerjasama hewan ternak sapi, Dalam prakteknya pada saat perjanjian kerjasama hanya dilakukan secara lisan dan batas waktu kerjasama yang tidak ditentukan. Penelitian ini Bertujuan untuk mengetahui Bagaimana Implementasi kerjasama antara pemodal dan pemelihara ternak sapi di Desa Tubbi Kecamatan Tutar dan Untuk mengetahui bagaimana sistem kerjasama bagi hasil antara Pa Ambi (Pemelihara) dan pemodal di Desa Tubbi Kecamatan Tubbi Taramanu dalam perspektif Ekonomi Islam. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, Praktik kerjasama bagi hasil Ternak Sapi di Desa Tubbi telah memenuhi rukun yang terdapat dalam akad mudharabah yaitu pemilik modal, modal yang diserahkan, ijab dan qabul, dimana antar individu terjalin ikatan ijab qabul yang menimbulkan akibat hukum dari kegiatannya. Kata Kunci: Kerjasama, bagi hasil, pemodal dan pemelihara

Abstract

The pattern of waqf property management in Indonesia still tends to be in the management traditional pattern. Waqf in Indonesia still has narrowed of its meaning and purpose, the mosques and prayer rooms that were built have not been able to act as a center for driving community activities, and are only used as places of worship. In the city of Makassar, Jami Islahuddin Mosque is one of the Mosque that has been built on waqf land. Therefore, it is deemed necessary to conduct a study of how the management of waqf assets at the Jami Islahuddin mosque. This study uses a qualitative method with field research to describe the existing facts related to the management of waqf land at the Jami Islahuddin Mosque. The data collection technique used is through literature review, observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the study are: The management of the Jami Islahuddin Mosque Waqf Land has been carried out productively. This can be seen from the mosque which is not only used as a place of worship but is also used as an Al-Qur'an Education Center (TPA), Baitul Maal Wa Tamwil (BMT), and the Mosque Business Entity (BUM) Jami Islahuddin Mosque.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh literasi zakat pertanian terhadap kepatuhan petani dalam membayar zakat di Desa Kampung Beru, Polongbangkeng Timur, Kabupaten Takalar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat pemahaman petani tentang zakat pertanian masih rendah, sehingga banyak yang tidak mengetahui aturan seperti perhitungan nishab dan cara distribusinya. Selain itu, faktor ekonomi dan ketidakpastian hasil panen juga menjadi kendala dalam membayar zakat. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kurangnya pemahaman tentang zakat pertanian berpengaruh terhadap kepatuhan petani dalam menunaikan kewajibannya. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan edukasi dan sosialisasi yang lebih intensif dari pihak terkait agar kesadaran dan pemahaman petani tentang zakat pertanian meningkat
