Abstract

The research examines how stakeholders in Garut Indonesia view Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications for inclusive education while filling the knowledge deficit about AI's contribution to fair learning environments. The research investigates how AI benefits, challenges, and ethical issues affect inclusive education from teacher and student and parental viewpoints. The research used a mixed-methods design to gather data through in-depth interviews and focus group discussions and surveys with 120 participants distributed among 40 teachers and 50 students and 30 parents for three months. The research shows AI provides three main advantages to inclusive education: personalized learning (students’ mean rating: 4.5), adaptability, and resource accessibility. The study identifies three major obstacles which include data privacy concerns (parents’ mean rating: 4.3) and technology dependency and reduced teacher-student communication. The educational staff views AI technology as an educational resource yet they prioritize the preservation of human relationships between teachers and students while parents focus on data protection and developmental threats. The study faces limitations because it focuses on Garut and has a short research duration which restricts the ability to generalize findings. The recommendations call for strong data protection measures and teacher training and parental education to solve ethical problems such as algorithmic bias. The research demonstrates how AI should coexist with human interaction to achieve educational equity while proposing future investigations into cognitive-socio-emotional effects and adaptive policy development.

Abstract

Objectives: This study aims to evaluate the Affordable Food Movement (Gerakan Pangan Murah, GPM) program in Bandung City, which seeks to stabilize food supply and prices by providing food at prices below the market rate, making it affordable for low- and middle-income communities despite their dependence on external food sources. Research Methodology: This research was conducted using a qualitative descriptive approach based on the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) evaluation model developed by Stufflebeam (1985). Data were gathered through document analysis, observations, and interviews with local government officials and community representatives Results: The findings reveal several challenges: uneven implementation across districts, limited execution in areas affected by stunting and low socioeconomic status, protracted coordination processes, inadequate budgeting, ineffective public communication, and flawed operational mechanisms. These constraints hinder the program’s objective of ensuring access to affordable food for vulnerable populations. Conclusion: The evaluation reveals that the Affordable Food Movement (Gerakan Pangan Murah, GPM) program in Bandung faces challenges in consistent implementation, coordination, and outreach, limiting its effectiveness in assisting vulnerable populations. Comprehensive improvements in program design and management are essential to enhance its impact on food supply stability and community welfare. Limitations: The study’s limitations include reliance on qualitative data from a single region, which may affect the generalizability of the findings to other cities. Contributions: This research provides strategic recommendations to enhance food security programs, supporting policymakers and stakeholders in improving urban food systems and poverty reduction. Implementing these can stabilize food prices and expand access for underserved communities in Bandung.

Abstract

In Indonesia and South Korea, stunting is still a serious nutritional problem. However, there is a significant difference in the prevalence of stunting where the incidence of stunting in Indonesia is still quite high even though there has been a decline, namely from 24.4% in 2021 to 21.6% in 2022. Meanwhile, the stunting rate in South Korea is very low, even the lowest in East Asia with only 2.5% of children under 5 years of age experiencing stunting. The purpose of this community service is to exchange information about the policies of the two countries in dealing with stunting and to study the good practices of the application of Indonesian government policies carried out by the PKK mothers of Taman Sari Village by creating the Cikalat (Love for Toddlers) innovation program. The community service method is carried out through lectures, panel discussions and questionnaire. Community service activities were carried out in Taman Sari Village, Bandung City on May 14, 2025. The target of the service was PKK mothers and the community of Taman Sari Village, Bandung City. The conclusion of this activity is that information related to policies between countries is conveyed well and ends with the signing of the Implementation Agreement from the three universities involved.ABSTRAKDi negara Indonesia dan Korea Selatan, stunting masih menjadi masalah gizi yang cukup serius.

Abstract

Social conflict prevention is a crucial aspect in maintaining social stability and harmony. This study aims to analyze the implementation of social conflict prevention policies carried out by the Bandung City Agency for National Unity and Politics (Bakesbangpol), with a focus on the early warning function. Referring to Law No. 7 of 2012 on the Handling of Social Conflicts, which regulates the government’s obligation to conduct early detection, prevention, and post-conflict recovery, this study employs a qualitative method using George C. Edwards III’s (1980) policy implementation model. The results show that although Bakesbangpol has made various efforts in preventing social conflict, challenges remain, such as limited human resources and budget constraints. The study recommends several strategic steps to improve policy implementation, including the development of an integrated information system for conflict monitoring, the use of technology for early detection, and community-based empowerment involving local leaders and organizations. These measures are expected to create a safer and more harmonious environment in Bandung City and maintain social stability amidst complex societal dynamics.   Keywords: ; Implementation; Public Policy; Social Conflict
