Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi kurang aktifnya siswa dalam pembelajaran karena penggunaan model pembelajaran kurang bervariasi menyebabkan hasil belajar dan keterampilan kolaborasi siswa menjadi rendah. Model PjBL terintegrasi STEM diterapkan untuk mengatasi hal tersebut. Metode kuasi-eksperimental dengan nonequivalent control group design digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Populasi penelitian mencakup seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMPN 34 Padang, terdapat dua kelas sebagai sampel yang diambil melalui teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen penelitian meliputi soal pre-test dan post-test, lembar observasi dan angket respon. Analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan inferensial melalui microsoft excel. Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan signifikan dari rata-rata kelas eksperimen dibanding kelas kontrol. Perbandingan dua rata-rata nilai post-test menunjukkan Thitung>Ttabel, yaitu thitung=5.645 dan Ttabel=1.999. Keterampilan kolaborasi siswa mencapai 80%, penerapan model PjBL terintegrasi STEM 98%, dan respon siswa sebesar 90%. Disimpulkan model PjBL terintegrasi STEM berpengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar dan keterampilan kolaborasi siswa kelas VIII SMP.

Abstract

Pembelajaran abad 21 menuntut peserta didik untuk mempunyai kemampuan literasi yang baik. Mengacu studi pendahuluan, literasi lingkungan peserta didik masih rendah. Satu di antara cara untuk menangani masalah ini yakni menyediakan bahan ajar inovatif pada pembelajaran. E-LKPD pencemaran lingkungan terintegrasi model PBL menjadi aspek penting untuk menstimulasi literasi lingkungan peserta didik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah untuk menghasilkan e-LKPD yang valid serta praktis. Jenis penelitian ini ialah Design Research (DR) memakai model pengembangan 4D yang mencakup tahap pendefenisian (define), tahap perancangan (design), tahap pengembangan (development), serta tahap penyebaran (disseminate). Objek penelitian yaitu E-LKPD pencemaran lingkungan terintegrasi model PBL untuk menstimulasi literasi lingkungan peserta didik. penelitian ini dibatasi sampai tahap development. Guru dan peserta didik berperan sebagai subjek yang dapat mengevaluasi kepraktisan produk. Instrumen yang dipakai untuk pengumpulan data yakni uji validitas serta praktikalitas. Teknik analisis data yang dipakai yakni teknik analisis statistik deskriprif. Dari hasil analisis data yang dilaksanakan, diraih dua hasil penelitian. Hasil penelitian pertama memperlihatkan terkait e-LKPD memiliki validitas sebesar 85,9 yang tergolong pada kategori sangat baik. Hasil penelitian kedua memperlihatkan terkait kepraktisan e-LKPD yang dinilai oleh guru serta peserta didik mempunyai nilai 85,7 serta 90,7 yang tergolong pada kategori sangat baik. Hasil penelitian ini memperlihatkan terkait e-LKPD pencemaran lingkungan terintegrasi model PBL valid dan praktis, sehingga masuk pada kategori sangat baik untuk dipakai pada pembelajaran fisika.

Abstract

Dominannya proses pembelajaran teacher-centered pada pembelajaran IPA di SMPN 1 Kinali membuat kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik tergolong rendah. Untuk mendorong kemampuan tersebut, digunakan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning (PjBL) terintegrasi STEAM. Penelitian dilakukan dengan pendekatan kuantitatif melalui metode quasi eksperimen, rancangan non-equivalent control group design. Populasi penelitian mencakup peserta didik kelas VII TA. 2024/2025. Melalui teknik purposive sampling didapatkan sampel penelitian yaitu kelas VII.4 selaku kelas eksperimen dan kelas VII.2 selaku kelas kontrol. Instrumen yang mencakup, soal berpikir kreatif, angket respons peserta didik, dan lembar observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran. Pengujian hipotesis melalui uji t menunjukkan thitung 8,04 dan ttabel 2,05, thitung > ttabel artinya H1 diterima dan H0 ditolak. Keterlaksanaan PjBL terintegrasi STEAM tergolong sangat baik dengan persentase 97,22%. Angket respons peserta didik mendapatkan respons positif sebesar 95%. Dengan demikian, pemberian perlakuan dengan pembelajaran PjBL terintegrasi STEAM memberikan pengaruh pada peserta didik kelas VII SMPN 1 Kinali dalam berpikir kreatif.

Abstract

Learning should be able to develop students' new literacy to answer challenges in the 4.0 industrial revolution. But science teachers still have difficulty creating learning that is relevant to this era. The solution to the problem is to train science teachers to develop thematic science learning material integrated with new literacy. The objective of the training is to investigate the results of training on the development of thematic science learning material integrated with new literacy. The method of training is demonstration and example by instructors. The training stages include assessing needs, setting goals, designing program, implementing activities, and evaluating training activities. Based on the implementation of the training, it can be stated that science teachers have been able to produce examples of new literacy integrated thematic science learning material in the form of student worksheet, the validity value of thematic science learning material can be classified into the good category, and generally they feel the benefits of training in the material aspects of developing learning  material, thematic learning material, integration of new literacy, and writing of thematic science learning  material. Thus, the training activity has been able to promote science teachers in planning and developing thematic science learning material.

Abstract

The study aims to analyze the student's misconception profile and determine the percentage of misconceptions of class VIII students on vibration, wave, and sound material. The research subjects were 159 students in three accredited A secondary schools during the full 2022–2023 semester. This research method is descriptive quantitative. Data collection method using a diagnostic test with a three-tier test. The three-tier test of 16 questions developed by Muhammad Ainal Yaqin and Linda Rahayuningsih was then modified by researchers with a reliability of 0.94 (very high). The three-tier test instrument consists of three tiers the first level is multiple choice, the second level is a choice of reasons for the first level, and the third level is a question of the level of confidence in the first and second levels. The result of the study was a student's misunderstanding of the vibration indicator being in the low category, whereas the wave magnitude indicator, wave movement, rapid wave retardation, medium sound retardance, and sound wave are in the medium category. The study concluded that the percentage of high school students in Koto Tangah district who suffered from misconceptions of vibration, wave, and sound material was 44% in the medium category.

Abstract

The purpose to analyse the student’s misconception profile and determine the percentage of misconceptions of class VIII students on vibration, wave, and sound material. The reseacrh subjects 78 students in two acceredited A secondary schools during the full 2023-2024 semester. The research method is descritive quantitative. Data collection method using a diagnostic test with a four tier test of 21 questions developed by Merry Christiani and Vindy Utami Karomah was the modified by researchers with reliability of 0,86 (very high). The four tier test instrument consists of four levels. At the first level, there are multiple choice questions with four answer choices. The second level includes students' confidence in answering the first level questions. The third level is related to the reasons behind the answers students choose at the first level. Finally, the fourth level includes students' beliefs regarding the reasons for the answers at the third level. The results of the research show that the profile of students' misconceptions is on the indicators of the concept of vibration, the concept of amplitude and deviation, the concept of period, the concept of vibration frequency, the relationship between frequency and period, the basic concept of waves, the concept of sound and frequency, the sound propagation medium and the relationship between periods, frequency and wavelength. speed, is in the medium category while the creepage concept indicator is high. The conclusion of the research results is that the misconception of junior high school students in Lareh Sago Halaban District regarding vibration, wave and sound material using the Four Tier Test instrument is 55% in the medium category

Abstract

Scientific literacy is a very important competency to pay attention to so that students can use science in their lives. The results of teacher interviews stated that scientific literacy learning at SMP Negeri 10 Payakumbuh was still not being implemented optimally. There needs to be a learning model that supports students' scientific literacy, one of which is the Reading to Learn (R2L) model. This research aims to determine the effect of the Reading to Learn learning model on the scientific literacy of students at SMP Negeri 10 Payakumbuh on Ecology and Biodiversity material. The type of research used in this research is quasi-experimental with a quantitative approach. The research design used was Posttest Only Control Group Design. This research design involves two groups, namely the experimental group which will receive treatment applying the R2L model in learning and the control group which will receive conventional learning. The data obtained were analyzed using normality tests, homogeneity tests, and hypothesis tests.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the influence of the Integrated Project Based Learning learning model of the Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) approach on the understanding of physics concepts of grade X students of SMAN 1 X Koto Tanah Datar. This study was carried out using a quantitative method with the Quasy Experiment type. The research instrument is in the form of a multiple-choice test with 5 choices. Before the test is given, the instrument will be tested for validity, reliability, difficulty, and differentiation. A total of 67 students of Class X Phase E became the study sample, namely 32 students from the experimental group and 35 students from the control group. The methods used to analyze the data include homogeneity tests, normality tests, and hypothesis tests. The findings of the study in the hypothesis test showed a significance value of < 0.05 which means that the use of the STEM integrated PjBL learning model affects the understanding of physics concepts of grade X students of SMAN 1 X Koto Tanah Datar.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of the creative problem solving (CPS) learning model on students' understanding of physics concepts in physics learning in class XI phase F at SMA N 1 Ampek Angkek. This study utilizes a quantitative approach with the type of Quasi Experiment Design. The research instrument is in the form of multiple-choice questions with five possible answers. Before the test is given, the instrument will be tested for validity, reliability, difficulty level and differentiation first. A total of 72 physics students of eleventh grade phase F participated in this study; 32 from the experimental group and 36 from the control group. The data analysis techniques used are normality tests, homogeneity, and mean difference tests. The findings of the study show that the application of the CPS learning model affects students' understanding of concepts. Both groups of students who use the direct learning model and those who use the CPS model have a significance value of <0.05 in the statistical analysis carried out using the t-test.

Abstract

E-Modul adalah bahan belajar yang disusun secara sistematis menggunakan kalimat yang mudah dimengerti oleh peserta didik sesuai dengan tingkat pemahaman dan usianya sehingga peserta didik bisa belajar secara mandiri. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan E-Modul IPA Terpadu Model Problem Based Learning pada Materi Klasifikasi Makhluk Hidup yang valid dan praktis untuk digunakan oleh siswa kelas VII SMP. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan atau Research and Development (R&D). Model pengembangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah model 4-D. Penelitian ini terdiri dari beberapa tahapan yaitu (1) Pendefinisian (Define), (2) Perancangan (Desain), (3) Pengembangan (Develop) dan (4) Penyebaran (Disseminate). Pada penelitian ini peneliti hanya melakukan tiga tahapan yaitu tahap define, desain, dan develop. E-modul divalidasi oleh tiga orang validator yang merupakan dosen jurusan Pendidikan IPA FMIPA UNP. Lembar instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah angket validasi dan praktikalitas. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan, telah dihasilkan e-modul IPA Terpadu model Problem Based Learning pada materi klasifikasi makhluk hidup di kelas VII SMP yang valid dan praktis. Hasil uji validitas memperoleh nilai 95% dengan kategori sangat valid. Hasil uji praktikalitas oleh guru memperoleh nilai 96% dengan kategori sangat praktis, dan hasil uji praktikalitas oleh peserta didik memperoleh nilai 90% dengan kategori sangat praktis.
