Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to analyze the contribution of Generation Z in enhancing national integration by leveraging digital technology in the city of Pematangsiantar. Using a descriptive quantitative method, this research involved 60 participants consisting of students aged between 12 and 24 years old. Data was collected through a questionnaire using a Likert scale to measure two main variables: the frequency of digital technology use and awareness of national values. The findings indicate that Generation Z actively uses digital media not only for entertainment and communication but also to express social aspirations and build constructive national narratives. Most respondents demonstrated good digital literacy, engagement in online activities related to nationalism, and positive attitudes toward ethnic, religious, and cultural diversity. Social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube are used to reinforce pride in national identity and enhance social solidarity. However, challenges such as the spread of false information, verbal hatred, and unequal access to technology remain significant obstacles. This study emphasizes the importance of digital literacy training and the creation of positive content that reinforces the values of national unity. These findings provide significant evidence that Generation Z possesses the strategic ability to serve as agents of national unity through creative, inclusive, and critical digital approaches. Keywords: Generation Z; National Integration; Digital Technology; Digital Literacy; Social Media. Abstract

Abstract

Throughout the history of the Indonesian government, various dynamics and changes have occurred, resulting in various regulations and laws in response to the diverse problems and challenges facing the country. These issues include: inconsistencies or overlaps between regulations and laws, conflicts between the central and regional governments, and conflicts over the division of authority between state ministries and state institutions. However, throughout the history of the Indonesian government, numerous studies on the obstacles to investment in Indonesia have identified several major obstacles. Another issue related to investment in Indonesia is the management of the State Budget (APBN) for investment activities undertaken by the Indonesian government. Several examples of problematic Indonesian government investments have been cited, most of which are suspected of experiencing problems in the form of alleged corruption involving large amounts , errors in governance, poor transparency or openness, inadequate planning, and other issues. Therefore, optimizing state investment governance is crucial. based on meaningful participation can be offered as a solution in order to create an investment climate that is in accordance with the general principles of good governance (AAUPB) and the realization of Indonesia as a state of law

Abstract

Abstract

Abstract

As a country with a constitution as the highest fundamental law, Indonesia regulates and distributes state functions to state power organs, which are then referred to as State Institutions. One of the state institutions regulated in the constitution is the State Ministry Institution, which is governed by Article 17 paragraph (1) of the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia, stating that the President is assisted by State Ministers. Article 17 paragraph (4) regulates that the establishment, amendment, and dissolution of state ministries are governed by law. This then became a polemic, because the People's Consultative Assembly (MPR) of the Republic of Indonesia had agreed to the Revision of Law Number 39 of 2008 on State Ministries, with one of the important points of change being the absence of a limit on the number of ministries, so that the number of ministries formed and established by the President is in accordance with the needs of state administration. The issues raised in this scientific article are: First, How to Critically Review and Analyze the Revision of Law Number 39 of 2008 on State Ministries from the Perspective or Doctrine of the Indonesian Rule of Law and the Principles of Pancasila Democracy, and Second, Whether the Revision of Law Number 39 of 2008 on State Ministries is in accordance with the Perspective or Doctrine of the Indonesian Rule of Law and the Principles of Pancasila Democracy. The research method used to address the issues in this scientific article is the normative legal research method with a conceptual approach. The conclusion drawn from the problem-solving answers is: First, that the Perspective or Doctrine of the Indonesian Rule of Law and the Principles of Pancasila were not used as guidelines and were ignored by the State in the process of Revising Law Number 39 of 2008 on State Ministries, and Second, that the Revision of Law Number 39 of 2008 on State Ministries does not yet align with the Perspective or Doctrine of the Indonesian Rule of Law and the Principles of Pancasila Democracy.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the influence of the Student Teams-Achievement Divisions (STAD) cooperative learning model on the mathematical problem-solving abilities of Grade VIII A students at SMP Taman Siswa Pematangsiantar, specifically on the subject of Linear Inequalities in One Variable. A quantitative approach was employed using a quasi-experimental one-group pretest-posttest design involving 30 students selected through total sampling. Data were collected via essay-based problem-solving tests, covering indicators of understanding the problem, devising a plan, carrying out the plan, and looking back to interpret the solution. The data were subsequently analyzed using descriptive statistics, paired t-tests, and normalized N-Gain calculations. The results demonstrate a significant increase in posttest scores compared to pretest scores, with the percentage of learning mastery rising from approximately 30% to 80%. The N-Gain value fell within the moderate category, with the most prominent improvements observed in the indicators of understanding the problem and devising a plan. The paired t-test yielded a significance value of < 0,05, indicating a statistically significant difference in problem-solving abilities before and after the implementation of STAD. Furthermore, observations revealed an enhancement in student activity, social interaction, and learning responsibility within group work. It is concluded that the STAD cooperative learning model contributes positively to improving students' mathematical problem-solving skills in linear inequalities and serves as a viable alternative for mathematics instruction in junior high schools.
