Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of economic variables on Indonesia's economic growth in the short and long term. In this analysis, four main economic variables are evaluated: Goods Expenditures, Taxes, Subsidies, and Human Capital. The research results show that goods spending has a positive but not significant influence on economic growth, both in the short and long term. Meanwhile, taxes show a positive and significant influence on economic growth in both periods. However, subsidies are proven to have a negative and significant effect, indicating that providing subsidies may affect economic growth negatively in the short and long term. Apart from that, Human Capital also shows a negative and significant influence, highlighting the importance of investment in human resources to support sustainable economic growth in Indonesia. These findings provide valuable insights for economic policy that can be used to design more effective strategies for increasing Indonesia's economic growth.

Abstract

The study analyzes the influence of P2P lending, e-commerce, e-payment, and digital literacy on the performance of MSMEs in Medan City, mediated by financial literacy. Data were obtained through questionnaires and interviews with 95 assisted MSMEs, then processed using SEM-PLS with SmartPLS 4. This analysis found that directly, P2P lending, e-commerce, and digital literacy did not have a significant impact, while e-payment had a positive and significant impact on MSME performance. Indirectly, financial literacy only mediated the positive relationship between digital literacy and MSME performance, but did not mediate the relationship between P2P lending, e-commerce, and e-payment on MSME performance. This finding emphasizes the importance of strengthening digital and financial literacy as a strategy to improve MSME performance through digitalization.

Abstract

Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) remains a major public health challenge in Indonesia, particularly in densely populated environments such as Islamic boarding schools (pesantren). Crowded dormitories, shared sanitation facilities, and numerous water containers create favorable conditions for mosquito breeding, resulting in recurrent dengue cases and low larva-free indices in several pesantren in East Java. This community-based program was implemented to strengthen dengue prevention through the integration of structured health education, simple ovitrap technology, and a digital larva-monitoring website as a digital engagement model for Santri Jumantik. The program employed a pre-experimental one-group pretest–posttest design conducted over three months (September–November 2025) at a pesantren in Probolinggo, involving 30 students. Interventions included dengue and PHBS education, hands-on training in constructing low-cost ovitraps from recycled materials, and weekly larval surveillance reported through a web-based monitoring system. Data were collected using knowledge questionnaires, ovitrap observations, larva-free index (ABJ) measurements, and website activity logs, and analyzed descriptively and using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. The results demonstrated a significant improvement in students’ knowledge (Z = –3.996; p < 0.001), with high-level knowledge increasing from 26.7% to 86.7%. Ecological indicators also improved, as the ABJ increased from 72% to 80% and ovitrap positivity declined over time. Digital reporting compliance reached 92%, indicating strong student engagement. This integrated approach effectively strengthened dengue prevention practices and offers a scalable model for transforming pesantren into healthier learning environments.

Abstract

Revelation and prophethood are two fundamental concepts in Islam that serve as the main pillars in shaping the Islamic worldview, functioning not only as theological foundations but also as epistemological, ontological, axiological, and anthropological points of reference that structure how Muslims understand reality, knowledge, values, and life’s ultimate purpose. This article aims to examine the concepts of revelation and prophethood from an Islamic perspective and to explain their implications for the formation of the Islamic worldview amid the challenges of modern thought. The study employs a qualitative approach with a library research design, using conceptual, thematic, and critical-synthetic analysis of primary sources in the form of the Al-Qur’an and Sunnah, as well as secondary sources including classical and contemporary scholarly works and relevant journal articles. The findings show that revelation is understood as a transcendent source of knowledge that is absolute and authoritative, while prophethood functions as the channel for conveying revelation in an authentic and final manner. Epistemologically, revelation serves as the standard of truth for reason and empirical experience; ontologically, it shapes a view of reality that encompasses both physical and metaphysical dimensions; axiologically, revelation and prophethood establish universal and immutable moral and value standards; and anthropologically, they provide direction for human life as servants and vicegerents (khalifah) on earth. This article affirms that the concepts of revelation and prophethood remain relevant as foundational bases for shaping an integral Islamic worldview that offers constructive answers to crises of meaning, value relativism, and secularization in the modern era.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of government spending on education and health on the Human Development Index (HDI) in Indonesia by including population size, open unemployment rate, and gender ratio as control variables. The analysis method used is Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) using time series data for the period 1990–2023 obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) and the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia. The results show that in the short term, education expenditure has a positive and significant effect on the HDI, while health expenditure and population size have a negative and significant effect. Meanwhile, the open unemployment rate and gender ratio have a negative but insignificant effect. In the long term, education expenditure has a positive but insignificant effect, while health expenditure, population size, and gender ratio have a negative and significant effect on HDI. These findings indicate that HDI improvement is not solely determined by the amount of government spending, but rather by the effectiveness of budget management, population growth control, expansion of employment opportunities, and improvement of gender equality as prerequisites for sustainable human development.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors influencing open unemployment in North Sumatra Province from 2012 to 2024. It investigates the effects of macroeconomic variables, including economic growth, inflation, provincial minimum wage (UMP), investment, and population growth, on open unemployment, with the moderating role of the Human Development Index (IPM). The research employs a quantitative approach using panel data analysis, encompassing data from 33 districts/cities in North Sumatra. The findings suggest that economic growth, inflation, and provincial minimum wage significantly affect open unemployment, while investment and population growth play a less significant role. Furthermore, the moderating effect of IPM is crucial in enhancing or reducing the impacts of these variables. The study provides valuable insights for policymakers and the private sector in formulating strategies to reduce unemployment and improve human capital development in the region.

Abstract

The increasing exposure of the financial system to climate-related risks has encouraged the evolution of macroprudential policy toward sustainability-oriented frameworks. This study develops the Green Macroprudential Banking Stability Framework (GMBSF) as an integrated analytical model explaining how sustainable finance instruments influence banking system resilience. Unlike conventional approaches that treat green finance as a complementary policy, this research positions it as a core macroprudential transmission channel affecting systemic stability. The study employs a panel dynamic approach using multi-institution banking data over the 2015–2024 period to examine both short-run adjustments and long-run equilibrium relationships between green financing, Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) performance, and banking stability. Stability is proxied by the Z-Score, while capital adequacy, profitability, credit risk, and institutional size are incorporated as control variables. The empirical findings indicate that sustainable finance exposure and stronger ESG governance significantly enhance banking stability by improving risk absorption capacity, strengthening capital buffers, and reducing credit volatility. Conversely, higher non-performing loans weaken systemic resilience. The results support the argument that green finance functions as a macroprudential shock absorber within climate-sensitive financial systems. This study contributes theoretically by introducing a globally applicable green macroprudential framework that integrates sustainability indicators into systemic risk management architecture. The proposed GMBSF provides strategic implications for central banks and financial regulators in designing climate-responsive macroprudential policies to maintain financial stability during the transition toward a low-carbon economy.
