Abstract

Pelatihan pembuatan aplikasi Smart Home berbasis Android di SMKS Plus Nurul Hakim Kediri bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman dan keterampilan kepada siswa dalam mengembangkan aplikasi rumah pintar berbasis Internet of Things (IoT). Kegiatan ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pesatnya perkembangan teknologi IoT yang semakin banyak diterapkan dalam sistem otomatisasi rumah. Tujuan utama dari pelatihan ini adalah untuk membekali peserta dengan pengetahuan tentang komponen perangkat Smart Home, pengenalan aplikasi MIT App Inventor, serta pelatihan pengembangan dan uji coba aplikasi Smart Home yang dapat digunakan untuk mengontrol perangkat elektronik secara nirkabel. Metode kegiatan dilakukan dalam beberapa tahap, yaitu pengenalan komponen perangkat Smart Home, pengenalan MIT App Inventor, pelatihan pembuatan aplikasi, serta uji coba aplikasi Smart Home dengan perangkat IoT menggunakan modul ESP32. Pelatihan ini bersifat praktis dan aplikatif, di mana peserta diberikan kesempatan langsung untuk merancang dan menguji aplikasi peserta. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa peserta mampu memahami konsep dasar Smart Home dan mengembangkan aplikasi kontrol berbasis Android menggunakan MIT App Inventor. Selain itu, uji coba aplikasi yang dilakukan membuktikan bahwa sistem Smart Home yang dikembangkan dapat berfungsi dengan baik dalam mengontrol perangkat rumah tangga berbasis IoT, meskipun terdapat beberapa kendala teknis yang berhasil diidentifikasi dan diperbaiki. pelatihan ini berhasil meningkatkan kompetensi peserta dalam pengembangan aplikasi berbasis IoT, serta memberikan pengalaman langsung dalam penerapan teknologi Smart Home. Dengan demikian, peserta diharapkan dapat mengembangkan keterampilan lebih lanjut dalam bidang IoT dan otomasi rumah.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the use of GPT Chat at Senior High School 1 Lembah Melintang, to assess students' learning creativity, and to determine the effect of GPT Chat on students' learning creativity at Senior High School 1 Lembah Melintang. This research is motivated by the rapid development of artificial intelligence (AI) technology in education, particularly through the use of GPT Chat as a learning tool. Although GPT Chat offers many benefits in accelerating information access and supporting students' independent learning, there are concerns that this technology may reduce students' critical and independent thinking skills. This is a quantitative study with a randomly selected sample of 50 students. Data processing was performed using SPSS 24.0 software to test validity, reliability, descriptive statistics, simple regression, and hypothesis testing. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the use of GPT Chat at Senior High School 1 Lembah Melintang has a positive impact on students' learning creativity, with the majority of students experiencing improvements in material understanding and creative thinking. However, the effect of GPT Chat on student learning creativity was not statistically significant, with a low R-square value (0.023) and an insignificant t-test result. Nevertheless, this technology can still enrich students' learning experiences, as long as it is used judiciously and does not replace the important role of social interaction and teacher guidance in the learning process.

Abstract

This pre-experimental study explores the effectiveness of integrating modified English songs in enhancing vocabulary retention among seventh-grade EFL learners in Indonesia. The research was conducted with 25 students at SMPN 3 Minasatene using a one-group pre-test–post-test design. The intervention consisted of five instructional sessions incorporating songs whose lyrics were deliberately adapted to match thematic vocabulary categories (objects, body parts, shapes, and vegetables). Each session combined listening, singing, contextual vocabulary practice, and short individual performances to reinforce lexical recall. Quantitative results revealed a significant improvement in learners’ vocabulary mastery, with the mean pre-test score (M = 69.64, SD = 5.95) increasing to the post-test mean (M = 89.12, SD = 6.31). The normalized gain (<g> = 0.64) indicates a high level of effectiveness based on Hake’s criteria. Qualitative observations further suggest that using modified songs enhanced learner motivation, enjoyment, and confidence in using English vocabulary. The findings demonstrate that purposeful integration of contextualized and culturally relevant songs can serve as an engaging medium for vocabulary development in early secondary EFL contexts. Pedagogical implications and recommendations for future experimental research designs are also discussed.

Abstract

This descriptive qualitative study explores seventh-grade students’ perceptions of using modified English songs to enhance vocabulary learning at SMPN 3 Minasatene, Indonesia. The research was conducted over four weeks, during which data were collected through semi-structured interviews with three students selected via purposive sampling. The interviews were analyzed thematically following the procedures of data reduction, display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that students viewed modified songs as engaging and helpful tools for learning vocabulary. Adapting song lyrics to match students’ proficiency levels helped them understand word meanings more easily, improve pronunciation, and apply new vocabulary in appropriate contexts. Moreover, the use of songs created a more enjoyable and motivating classroom environment, enhancing students’ confidence in learning English. These results suggest that integrating modified songs into vocabulary instruction can strengthen both linguistic and affective aspects of learning by providing meaningful, memorable, and student-centered language experiences. The study highlights the importance of creative instructional media for young learners and encourages teachers to incorporate modified songs as a practical approach to vocabulary development in English language classrooms.

Abstract

Penelitian pada artikel ini bertujuan untuk memaparkan analisis praktik pungutan liar di Desa Keden dalam persepektif hukum dan hak asasi manusia (HAM). Penelitian ini berfokus pada dua pokok permasalahan, yaitu: bagaimana bentuk dan faktor yang menyebabkan terjadinya pungutan liar, dan bagaimana dampak yang terjadi terhadap masyarakat dalam mendapatkan perlindungan. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian yuridis normatif, dengan sumber perundang-undangan dan konseptual, dilengkapi dengan data wawancara serta studi kepustakaan. Hasil dari penelitian yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa praktik pungutan liar yang terjadi di Desa Keden bertentangan dengan prinsip negara hukum. terkhusus pada asas kepastian hukum serta perlindungan hak warga negara. Pungutan liar bukan hanya sekedar merugikan ekonomi masyarakat, akan tetapi juga menyebabkan rasa ketidakadilan serta pelanggaran atas hak aman dan keadilan sosial. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini untuk meyakinkan perlu adanya pengawasan yang lebih ketat oleh pemerintah daerah serta aparat penegak hukum, dan pendampingan masyarakat supaya berani menolak serta malaporkan kasus praktek pungutan liar.

Abstract

In this study, various problems that occur in the convection lie are, The current obstacles are that recording is still done manually using note paper/books. Then for outgoing stock there is no accurate report on every e-commerce purchase or outside e-commerce. In addition, the current stock is uncertain in number so it is often recalculated to ensure the amount of stock available. Then there is no stocktaking for stock monitoring, there is no data for returned or refunded items, and there is no report for outgoing stock reports. Items that are in demand are often out of stock because there is no stock monitoring. The purpose of the study is to improve the efficiency of the stock recording process by designing a system that can reduce discrepancies, in addition to minimizing errors in recording stock data that often occurs due to human error factors, then to consider production on products that are in high demand and those that are less in demand. The method used is Agile Development as a reference for creating a system in this study, with the addition of several tools such as MySql as database storage and so on, here the author also uses UML (Unified Modeling Language) as documentation in creating this application and ERD (Entity Relationship Diagram) as a structure. The expected result is that this application can function properly as it should in the convection lie, with this inventory application it can facilitate employees in managing product stock, help in terms of work time efficiency, reduce human error, and support the right decision making in product management.
