Abstract

The importance of nutrients in vegetables for the human body to meet the needs of minerals and vitamins. Indonesians can meet their vegetable needs with various choices at varying prices. This study aims to determine the method of determining the selling price of vegetables and the effect of price determination on the number of sales of vegetable retailers at the Pulau Baai Market in Bengkulu City. The research methods used is qualitative and quantitative. The selection of respondents used the census method totaling 28 people. The analysis used in this study is descriptive analysis and simple linear regression. The results of the study showed that vegetable retailers at the Pulau Baai Market in Bengkulu City used the (mark pricing) method in determining prices, where the average markup value for cabbage was IDR 3,096 /kg, tomatoes IDR 2,378 /kg, carrots IDR 3,453 /kg, Chinese cabbage IDR 2,685 /kg, spinach IDR 721 /kg, and kale IDR 255 /kg and vegetables whose pricing affects the number of sales are Chinese cabbage and kale. Meanwhile, the determination of selling prices that do not affect the amount of sales are cabbage, tomatoes, carrots, and spinach.

Abstract

Cyber ​​extension is an innovative approach in agricultural counseling that utilizes information and communication technology (ICT) to increase access and dissemination of information to farmers. With the development of digital technology, cyber extension allows farmers to get the latest information about agricultural practices, resource management, and market trends quickly and efficiently. This article discusses the role of cyber extension in agricultural development, including benefits such as improving farmers' skills, community empowerment, and efficiency in the counseling process. In addition, the challenges faced in implementation include accessibility of technology and digital literacy. By identifying opportunities for integrating new technology, cyber extension is expected to contribute to increasing the productivity and sustainability of the agricultural sector in the future.

Abstract

Pentingnya nutrisi dalam sayuran bagi tubuh manusia untuk memenuhi kebutuhan mineral dan vitamin. Masyarakat Indonesia dapat memenuhi kebutuhan akan sayuran dengan berbagai pilihan sayuran dengan harga yang bervariasi pula. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui metode penetapan harga jual sayuran dan pengaruh penetapan harga terhadap jumlah penjualan pedagang pengecer sayuran di Pasar Pulau Baai Kota Bengkulu. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Pemilihan responden menggunakan metode sensus yang berjumlah 28 orang. Analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis deskriptif dan regresi linier sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Pedagang pengecer sayuran di Pasar Pulau Baai Kota Bengkulu menggunakan metode (mark up pricing) dalam penetapan harga, yang mana untuk nilai rata-rata mark up sayur kol sebesar Rp 3.096/Kg, tomat sebesar Rp 2.378/Kg, wortel sebesar Rp 3.453/Kg, sawi putih sebesar Rp 2.685/Kg, bayam sebesar Rp 721/Kg, dan kangkung sebesar Rp 255/Kg serta sayuran yang penetapan harganya berpengaruh terhadap jumlah penjualan yaitu sayuran sawi putih dan sayur kangkung. Abstract

Menu roti bakar masih menjadi salah satu menu yang digandrungi anak muda Indonesia. Roti bakar ini menjadi favorit anak muda diakibatkan oleh gaya hidup, dimana banyak anak muda  yang suka pergi bersama sahabat mereka untuk semata- mata hangout ataupun ngobrol santai (Aprilia, 2024). Roti Bakar Bandung Nukasep merupakan salah satu contoh usaha produksi roti tawar sebagai bahan baku utama roti bakar  berdasarkan pengamatan sebelumnya diketahui bahwa rumah produksi Roti Bakar Bandung Nukasep mengalami  grafik pemasaran yang naik turun (tidak stabil).  Sebagai upaya  dalam rangka  memenangkan pasar yang kompetitif,  rumah produksi Roti Bakar Bandung Nukasep wajib mengenal faktor pada lingkungan internal dan eksternal pemasarannya.  Tujuan penelitian ini ialah melakukan analisis mengenai faktor internal dan faktor eksternal yang mempengaruhi  sistem pemasaran  pada  rumah produksi Roti Bakar Bandung Nukasep.   Metode yang dilakukan berupa deskriptif kualitatif dengan  metode pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, serta kuesioner. Adapun data dianalisis menggunakan metode  pendekatan SWOT .  Dari hasil penelitian diketahu bahwa faktor internal yang mempengaruhi peasaran pada Pemasaran Roti Bakar Bandung Nukasep terdiri dari delapan (8) faktor meliputi : Kualitas Roti, Kecukupan produksi roti, Kemasan Roti, Kepemilikan izin & sertifikat, Harga jual yang terjangkau, Variasi Roti, Pelayanan, dan  Promosi.  Sementara pada faktor eksternal terdiri dari lima (5) faktor  meliputi : Tren bisnis digital, Daya beli masyarakat terhadap Roti Bakar, Menjadi tempat magang siswa SMK dan mahasiswa, Hubungan dengan pelanggan, Kemunculan usaha yang serupa.

Abstract

The success of yard land utilization activities intervened by government programs is inseparable from the participation of members of the Women Farmers Group (KWT). This study aims to analyze the level of participation of members of the Women Farmers Group (KWT) in the Working Area of the Selebar Agricultural Extension Center (BPP) in the utilization of yard land and to analyze what factors are associated with the participation of members of the Women Farmers Group (KWT) in the Working Area of Selebar Agricultural Extension Center (BPP) in the utilization of yard land. The research was conducted from July to August 2024. The population in this study was 116 people with a sample size of 90 people determined by proportional stratified random sampling method. Data were analyzed by Pearson product moment statistical test. The results showed that the level of participation of KWT members in utilizing the yard was in the high category. Factors that are significantly related to the level of participation of KWT members are formal education, motivation, time devotion, accuracy of counseling methods, suitability of materials, competence of extension workers, group goals, group cohesiveness and group atmosphere. While age is not significantly related.

Abstract

The Chili Planting Program in Berkas Village which was implemented in 2023 to increase national chili productivity. The purpose of this research was to determine the response of farmers to the chili planting movement program and to analyze the factors that influence farmers' responses to the chili planting program in the Kerapu Makmur Farmers Group, Berkas Village. This research was conducted from August 1 to August 30, 2024. The population in this research was 30 people and was analyzed using a Likert scale. This research method uses descriptive analysis and multiple linear analysis. The results of the research showed that the farmer's response to the chili planting program in the Kerapu Makmur Group, Berkas Village, Teluk Segara District, Bengkulu City was in the moderate category (39.3) Factors that influence farmers' responses to the chili planting . Are Number of Family Members, Frequency of attending counseling and Cohesiveness in the group. While those that do not have an effect are age, gender, education, farming experience, and household income of chili farmers in the Kerapu Makmur farmer group, Berkas Village, Teluk Segara District, Bengkulu City

Abstract

Air Putih Village is a village that has just expanded from its main village on September 15 2011. Therefore Air Putih Village is still in the process of learning to become a more advanced and superior village in various sectors. The agricultural sector is very important in supporting the local, national and international economy. Of course, the agricultural sector is also expected to be able to become a supporting sector for Air Putih Village to become a village that is more independent in the economy and food. The problem that is often faced is the increase in the price of basic commodities which continues to soar, this of course contributes to the economic difficulties of the people who live in poverty, while vegetable crops support basic commodities. In order to meet the needs and convenience of food for the people of Air Putih Village, the Dehasen University Faculty of Agriculture Community Service team and partners agreed to hold a socialization for the use of yards. The yard of the house can be used as a planting medium for various vegetables to support people's daily food needs. This makes it easier for people to meet their needs for minerals and vitamins. Besides that, it can help the community's economy by reducing expenses for vegetable needs. So counseling and training was carried out on the use of home yards by planting various vegetables. The benefits of using yard land economically are able to reduce family expenses and even if it is occupied can provide additional family income.

Abstract

National coffee consumption by Indonesians has consistently increased over the past five years, while exports of raw coffee beans have declined. On the other hand, exports of ground coffee, coffee beverages, and instant coffee have grown, except for a sudden drop in instant coffee exports in 2019. Research on entrepreneurial competencies reveals that eleven indicators range from low to moderate levels, with the weakest being the ability to seize business opportunities. Analyzing internal and external factors is crucial to addressing the moderate-to-low entrepreneurial competencies of coffee farmers in Kepahiang Regency, followed by formulating strategies using the SWOT approach. The study recommends a conservative WO (Weaknesses-Opportunities) strategy to overcome internal weaknesses and optimize opportunities by enhancing technical training and education in coffee cultivation, leveraging natural resources, and improving decision-making and creativity to manage microenterprises diversity effectively. This research has broader relevance to agribusiness development by providing strategic insights that can enhance the competitiveness and sustainability of the coffee sector in the global market.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis keuntungan dan Break Even Point (BEP) usahatani melon di Agroeduwisata Toboponik, Kota Bengkulu, yang dilaksanakan pada Desember 2024. Meskipun hortikultura menghadapi tantangan seperti risiko tinggi dan fluktuasi harga, melon sebagai komoditas agribisnis menunjukkan potensi ekonomi yang besar. Dengan adopsi sistem hidroponik, masalah seperti ketergantungan cuaca dan hama dapat diatasi, meningkatkan produktivitas dan efisiensi.  Metode penelitian melibatkan wawancara dan studi literatur, dengan analisis data kuantitatif untuk menghitung biaya, penerimaan, keuntungan, serta BEP. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan total biaya produksi sebesar Rp 105.408.500 dan total penerimaan sebesar Rp 201.600.000, menghasilkan keuntungan bersih Rp 96.191.500.  Analisis BEP per unit menunjukkan 1.327,05 kg untuk melon jenis Snow dan Golden, serta 1.516,51 kg untuk Rock dan Hamigua. BEP dalam rupiah adalah Rp 60.699.285,7 untuk Snow dan Golden, serta Rp 63.417.164,2 untuk Rock dan Hamigua. Angka-angka ini menunjukkan bahwa produksi dan penerimaan aktual jauh melampaui titik impas, mengindikasikan bahwa usahatani melon ini sangat menguntungkan dan layak secara ekonomis. Penelitian ini menegaskan potensi melon sebagai komoditas unggulan dalam agribisnis modern.

Abstract

Oil palm farmers in Central Bengkulu Regency in their farming activities require capital. The capital used is credit from Bank Mandiri. Purpose: The purpose of this study is (1) to determine the attitude of oil palm farmers toward the People's Business Credit (KUR) and (2) to determine the behavior of oil palm farmers toward the People's Business Credit (KUR) in Pagar Dewa Village, Central Bengkulu Regency. Methodology: The research method used is a descriptive quantitative method and the Fishbein model to determine the attitude of farmers toward the overall product attributes including: quality, features, and services. Results: The results show that the attitude of farmers toward the People's Business Credit at Bank Mandiri in Pagar Dewa Village, Central Bengkulu Regency, is positive. Findings: The total attitude score is 4.5, which means (Ao > 0), indicating that the farmers' attitude is positive for each attribute (quality, features, and services). Farmers' behavior (B) is influenced by two factors, namely the attitude of the farmer (Ao) and subjective norm (SN) with a value of 5.73. The result obtained for farmers' behavior toward the People's Business Credit at Bank Mandiri in Pagar Dewa Village, Central Bengkulu Regency, is 5.24 (B > 0). Novelty: The study shows that the behavior of farmers is good. Conclusion: This means that farmers may repeat their KUR borrowing at Bank Mandiri in the future. Type of Paper: Research Paper.
