Abstract

Interactive learning media can engage young learners to effectively absorb learning materials. Therefore, this developmental research was conducted to produce an interactive game that improves young learners' mastery of plural and singular nouns and enrich young learners' animal-related vocabulary. The researchers employed the ADDIE development model that began by analyzing problems related to the predetermined topic, analyzing the environment and work situation, designing the product, developing the product based on validation results from three expert validators, and conducting a product trial. The researchers investigated the product’s feasibility by performing a small-sccale trial and a large-scale trial. The research findings indicate that the developed interactive game was practical and useful. In short, the developed interactive game is feasible to assist young learners in learning plural and singular nouns and enrich their vocabulary.

Abstract

This paper presents a project focused on the development of school instruments within a school observation course, where students engaged in virtual collaboration and discussions across different classes utilizing the Trello application. Employing a narrative inquiry design, this study examines the experiences of a teacher over four months of teaching practice. Data were collected through teacher observation notes documenting the use of the Trello application during teaching practice, as well as interviews conducted with participants both in groups and individually within the school observation course. Subsequently, the data were analyzed using NVivo software. The narrative analysis evaluates the effectiveness and contribution of the Trello application as a reflective tool to enhance students’ active collaboration. The findings indicate that student collaboration using the Trello application over the four-month period demonstrated a high level of engagement. The application’s innovative and user-friendly features facilitated dynamic discussions. The students’ enthusiasm affirmed the teacher’s perception that the Trello application serves as an effective platform for fostering collaboration and virtual discussion to produce project outcomes. A significant conclusion from this research is that the Trello application has the potential to be employed as an online learning tool or as an instructional medium that supports interventions aimed at improving collaborative efforts in educational contexts

Abstract

In acquiring English, vocabulary is the fundamental element of language mastery.  Competence and expertise in English are defined by knowledge of language.  Consequently, vocabulary acquisition is crucial for enhancing students' English language proficiency as both a foreign and second language. Implementing instructional strategies that resonate with students' learning preferences is a means to enhance their English language acquisition. One effective technique is the card sort learning approach.  This study aimed to determine the substantial impact of the Card Sort learning method on the vocabulary of seventh-grade students’ at MTs Nurul Hidayah Al-amin.  This study used a quasi-experimental design. The research population comprised the seventh-grade students of MTs Nurul Hidayah Al-amin, totaling 185 individuals.  The sample comprised 62 students selected from two classes: VII A as the experimental group and VII B as the control group.  The data collection method employed pre-test and post-test assessments. The instrument employed a test concentrating on verbs, pronouns, and nouns.  The data analysis employed content validity, construct validity, item validity, and instrument reliability.  Following the hypothetical test, the data analysis conducted via SPSS revealed that the significance (P-value) was less than 0.001, indicating that the significance (P-value) was lower than the significance level α = 0.05.  The study concluded that the card sort learning approach significantly influenced vocabulary mastering among seventh-grade students at Mts Nurul Hidayah Al-Amin.

Abstract

Writing is an essential skill that requires students to articulate their thoughts and convey messages through written texts. This is considered an essential skill that students must develop for their academic achievement. Miming activities offer a varied strategy for learning that enhances students’ communication skills, encourages their creativity, and promote active participation. Student often struggle with writing because they are afraid of making mistake in grammar, vocabulary, and language use. The purpose of this research was to enhance students’ writing skills through the use of miming games, with a particular focus on procedural texts, which are intended to explain how to perform or create something through a series of steps. The design of this research was quasi experimental. The eighth grade of MTS Mathla’ul Anwar served as the study’s population. The research sample was chosen using a cluster random sampling technique. Data was collected by using a pre-test and post-test. The result showed that the Sig. (2 tailed) value was 0.001, which is lower than α=0.05. This indicate that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted and the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected, it can be concluded that miming games involve students through movement and action, creating a fun learning environment that helps them understand sequence, structure and vocabulary.

Abstract

Di zaman modern saat ini manusia tidak lepas dari yang namanya teknologi. Teknologi atau sering dikenal dengan istilah IT yakni merupakan singkatan ataupun akronim dari informasi Dan teknologi. Teknologi dapat Mempermudah manusia dalam melakukan berbagai hal. Website menyajikan informasi yang akurat mengenai suatu profile mengenai sebuah lembaga ataupun individu. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan dengan tujuan memberikan solusi digital bagi masyarakat Desa Tanjung Sari Kecamatan Natar dalam mengakses layanan surat-menyurat. Website sebagai media berbasis teknologi informasi memiliki peran penting dalam menyediakan informasi dan layanan secara cepat, mudah, dan dapat diakses kapan saja. Melalui sosialisasi dan edukasi pemanfaatan website Smart Village, masyarakat diperkenalkan dengan sistem layanan administrasi desa berbasis teknologi yang memungkinkan pembuatan surat dapat dilakukan dari rumah tanpa harus datang langsung ke kantor desa. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan meliputi sosialisasi, pelatihan penggunaan website, serta pendampingan teknis kepada perangkat desa dan masyarakat. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan meningkatnya pemahaman dan keterampilan masyarakat dalam menggunakan teknologi digital untuk kebutuhan administrasi, khususnya layanan surat-menyurat. Selain itu, perangkat desa juga mampu mengelola sistem dengan lebih efisien, sehingga pelayanan publik menjadi lebih transparan, efektif, dan sesuai dengan tuntutan era digital. Dengan demikian, program ini dapat menjadi langkah awal dalam mewujudkan tata kelola desa berbasis teknologi yang memudahkan masyarakat sekaligus mendukung implementasi Smart Village secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This study investigates the implementation of ethics and responsibility in utilizing technology for English language learning within senior high school classrooms. Employing a qualitative research design, the study utilizes descriptive and qualitative approaches to analyze data, facilitating comprehension and drawing conclusions. Thematic structure analysis is employed to interpret the data, collected through semi-structured interviews. Findings suggest that English teachers in senior high schools adhere to ethical and responsible guidelines in technology usage. This research contributes insights into the ethical considerations and responsible practices associated with integrating technology into English language learning within senior high school settings.

Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi di bidang pertanian telah membawa transformasi signifikan dalam cara kita berproduksi, mengelola, dan mengoptimalkan hasil pertanian. Pemanfaatan lahan dengan tanaman hidroponik adalah metode budidaya tanaman di mana tanaman tumbuh dalam larutan nutrisi yang disediakan secara khusus, tanpa menggunakan tanah sebagai media tanam. Pendekatan ini memungkinkan pemanfaatan lahan yang terbatas dengan cara yang efisien dan produktif. Pertumbuhan populasi dan terbatasnya lahan pertanian di wilayah pedesaan menuntut inovasi dalam bidang pertanian. Salah satu solusi yang tengah dikembangkan adalah metode budidaya tanaman hidroponik. penerapan hidroponik sebagai alternatif budidaya tanaman di Desa Batanghari Ogan, metode hidroponik, yang tidak memerlukan tanah sebagai media tanam, memiliki beberapa keuntungan dalam mengoptimalkan penggunaan lahan sempit. Hasil dari penerapan hidroponik menunjukkan peningkatan hasil panen dalam ruang terbatas, serta penghematan air yang signifikan. Potensi metode hidroponik sebagai solusi bagi pertanian dalam lahan terbatas di Desa Batanghari Ogan. Dengan dukungan yang tepat, penerapan teknik ini dapat meningkatkan hasil panen, mengurangi ketergantungan pada lahan luas, dan secara keseluruhan, memberikan kontribusi positif pada ketahanan pangan dan ekonomi lokal

Abstract

This study investigated the correlation between the use of translation technology and the translation skills of students in the English Education Study Program at UIN Raden Intan Lampung. Employing a quantitative correlational research design, the research focused on a sample of 40 students from a Translation and Interpretation course. Data collection involved a translation test to assess students' proficiency and a questionnaire to measure the frequency and reliance on translation tools. Analysis using SPSS revealed a moderate positive correlation of 0.35 between the use of translation technology and translation skills, indicating that while technology aids in improving translation performance, it is not the only factor influencing students' abilities. Other elements, such as individual learning strategies and language proficiency, also play critical roles. The findings suggest that although translation tools are beneficial in language learning, they should be used in conjunction with traditional methods to prevent over-reliance. Educators are encouraged to promote manual translation exercises to foster deeper comprehension and skill development. However, the study's limitations, including its small sample size and focus on a single institution, may limit the generalizability of the results. Future research should consider larger, more diverse samples and explore the long-term effects of translation technology on student proficiency, offering broader insights into its impact on language education.

Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi berkat internet telah membuka peluang bisnis baru. Pertumbuhan e-commerce adalah salah satunya. E-commerce adalah salah satu teknologi canggih yang paling mendorong kemajuan bisnis digital Indonesia saat ini yang dalam prakteknya dilakukan secara online melalui media elektronik. Permasalahan yang terjadi dalam upaya meningkatkan kemajuan UMKM Kopi Cap AAA adalah informasi mengenai jenis biji kopi yang sulit diketahui oleh customer, stok barang dan pencatatan alamat pengiriman masih dilakukan secara offline, sehingga pemesanan produk kopi belum ada kemajuan dalam kegiatan UMKM di era digital saat ini.Peneliti melakukan pendekatan masalah dengan metode wawancara, observasi, dan analisa sehingga, peneliti mengetahui data dan menganalisa proses bisnis produksi kopi yang menggunakan sistem offline tersebut. Tujuan dari penelitian yaitu untuk membantu pelaku usaha kegiatan UMKM Kopi dalam pemasaran produk meningkat dan pengelolaan barang lebih terstruktur. Dengan adanya E-commerce yang telah dibuat oleh peneliti pada produk kopi cap AAA dapat membantu memperluas informasi produk, adanya fitur packing slip dapat mengurangi kesalahan alamat pada pengiriman, laporan stock dapat mencegah data hilang, dan laporan orders membantu admin mengetahui pesanan.
