Abstract

This research aims to examines the influence of the role of Islamic Religious Counsellors (PAI) on the level of understanding of the Sakinah Family concept among prospective brides and grooms (catin) at the Office of Religious Affairs (KUA) in Banyuwangi District. The Sakinah family is the fundamental goal of Islamic marriage, but achieving it often requires proper guidance due to prevalent pre-marital and spousal misunderstanding issues. PAIs are essential for equipping couples with the necessary knowledge on faith, piety, and noble character (akhlakul karimah). The study utilizes a quantitative correlational method involving 15 prospective couples or 30 persons from the KUA of Banyuwangi District. Data was efficiently collected using a QR-code converted from Google Form administered after the couples attended Marriage Guidance. Analysis was conducted using simple linear regression. The PAI's multifaceted role is defined as Educator (teaching rights and duties), Counselor (addressing concerns and conflicts), and Facilitator (empowering practical skills). The results demonstrate that the role of PAI has a strong and significant influence on the couples' level of understanding of the Sakinah family. The PAI's contribution accounts for 65.9% of the variance in understanding ($Sig. = 0.000$). The positive coefficient ($B = 1.931$) confirms a direct relationship: increased quality or presence of PAI guidance significantly raises the level of Sakinah family understanding among prospective couples. This underscores the critical importance of PAI in marriage preparation.

Abstract

The growth of the hotel industry in Indonesia is driven by increasing mobility for business and tourism purposes. However, this growth presents new challenges in hotel management, particularly in analyzing customer behavior, optimizing room availability, and making strategic decisions. Manual management of reservations and customer data is considered ineffective. This study implements Business Intelligence (BI) for analyzing hotel reservation data from 2022–2024 using OLAP and data mining techniques. BI enables the analysis of room popularity, active customer identification, payment method trends, and customer profiles. Additionally, this study applies clustering for room segmentation and forecasting methods to predict future income and reservation trends. Data is processed using ETL into a star schema-based data warehouse, visualized through Power BI dashboards. Results show that BI provides valuable insights into customer behavior, room occupancy trends, and financial performance, supporting management in improving operational efficiency and revenue.

Abstract

Price fluctuations of basic commodities are a classic issue in the regional economy that can affect people's purchasing power. This study aims to analyze the role of the Cooperatives, Industry, and Trade Office (Diskoperindag) of Bondowoso Regency in maintaining price stability of basic commodities in the market, as well as to identify supporting and inhibiting factors. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results show that Diskoperindag acts as a facilitator for the distribution of basic commodities, an operator of market operations, and a trade supervisor, but does not have the authority in price setting, taxes, and subsidies. In the perspective of Islamic economics, the role of Diskoperindag is similar to the function of al-ḥisbah, which is to ensure price affordability and fairness in market transactions. This research recommends strengthening the synergy between the Department of Cooperatives, Industry and Trade and central agencies to optimize price stabilization comprehensively and sustainably.

Abstract

The growing prevalence of adolescent sexual misconduct, including promiscuity, sexual harassment, and exposure to pornography, highlights the urgent role of Islamic Religious Education in fostering moral awareness and character formation among Muslim youth. This study aims to examine the Al-Qur'an and Hadith perspectives on sex education, analyze the core values of Islamic sex education, and explore how these values can be integrated into the teaching of Islamic Religious Education. This research uses a literature-based qualitative approach using thematic analysis of Al-Qur'an verses and Prophetic traditions related to sexuality, supported by relevant scientific literature in Islamic education and ethics. Findings show that the core values of Islamic sex education include personal purity (iffah), control of desires, moral responsibility, preservation of dignity, and ethical social behavior. These values can be systematically integrated into the teaching of Islamic religious education through the domains of aqidah, morals, fiqh, and date, especially through contextual learning strategies and teacher moral examples. This study concludes that sex education based on the Qur'an and Hadith not only serves as a framework for preventing moral deviations but also as a foundation for building strong character among Muslim youth.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has brought about major changes in the information consumption patterns of elementary school-aged children. Platforms such as TikTok, YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels provide short-form video content that is dense with visual and audio stimuli, but have the effect of decreasing children's attention span in the learning process. This short attention span phenomenon is a serious challenge in the world of basic education. This study aims to examine psychopedagogical strategies that can be applied to overcome concentration disorders in children due to the consumption of short digital content. This research uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method, which examines a number of scientific articles from various national and international databases. The results of the study show that children who habitually consume instant videos show decreased focus, difficulty completing long-term tasks, and decreased learning perseverance. In response, psychopedagogical strategies identified include mindfulness-based learning, reflective learning, project-based learning, and integration of local and spiritual values. These strategies not only stimulate concentration, but also shape children's character to be resilient in the face of instant culture. This research recommends the need for collaboration between teachers and parents, as well as the development of contextual learning modules to answer this challenge. Psychopedagogical strategies can be an applicable integrative solution in shaping a healthy learning culture in the digital era

Abstract

Edamame merupakan komoditas unggulan Kabupaten Jember, khususnya PT Mitra Tani 27 yang telah memiliki citra baik dengan kualitas olah produk berkelas internasional. Penelitian bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh kualitas produk dan citra merek terhadap kepusasan pelanggan dan loyalitas konsumen. Metode yang digunakan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan menggunakan analisis statistik berupa analisis jalur (Path Analysis). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh kualitas produk dan citra merek terhadap loyalitas pelanggan secara tidak langsung lebih besar jika dibandingkan pengaruh kualitas produk dan citra merek terhadap loyalitas secara langsung melalui variabel kepuasan pelanggan. Implikasi dari temuan ini adalah bahwa perusahaan perlu memprioritaskan strategi peningkatan kepuasan pelanggan sebagai variabel mediasi yang memperkuat hubungan antara kualitas produk dan citra merek terhadap loyalitas konsumen. Selain itu, hasil penelitian menegaskan pentingnya investasi berkelanjutan dalam menjaga kualitas produk dan membangun citra merek yang konsisten, karena keduanya akan lebih efektif dalam menciptakan loyalitas jangka panjang apabila disertai dengan pengalaman kepuasan pelanggan yang optimal.
