<![CDATA[Reading ability is an important skill that has to be acquired by students, especially in English. Regardless of that fact, we from Institut Pendidikan Nusantara Global team took initiative to conduct training that can assist students to overcome students reading ability by the theme Teaching Reading—Based Phonics Approach. This activity is carried out at the seventh graders (VII) of MTs NW Tanak Beak Barat. The methods we used in this community service are observation, socialization with the school stockholders, and doing the program. The result of this program is that there is an improvement in students’ reading ability at the seventh graders (VII) of MTs NW Tanak Beak Barat. In addition, there is an improvement in the students’ motivation after learning English through Phonics—Based Approach, so that students are not pressured and enjoy the learning activity.]]>

<![CDATA[Tridarma perguruan tinggi merupakan sebuah kewajiban bagi setiap perguruan tinggi di Indonesia. Tri darma perguruan tinggi yang dimaksud adalah pengajaran, penelitian dan pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Dua dari tiga tridarma yang dapat dikatakan wajib adalah penelitian dan pengabdian kepada mayarakat dimana hasil dari tridarma ini harus menghasilkan target luaran berupa sebuah artikel. Untuk memenuhi artikel dibutuhkan pemahaman tentang Oprations Journal System (OJS) untuk menunjang publikasi karya ilmiah yang dihasilkan. Pengabdian ini berjudul pelatihan oprations journal system (ojs) dalam meningkatkan publikasi jurnal ilmiah dosen di lingkungan institut pendidikan nusantara global. kegiatan Ini ditujukan untuk meningkatkan publikasi dosen di lingkungan kampus. Hasil dari kegiatan ini dapat dilihat bahwa terdapat peningkatan yang signifikan antara hasil sebelum melakukan pelatihan dan setelah pelatihan sebesar 71%. Hal ini dilihat dari pemahaman peserta tentang jurnal dan cara mengoprasikan oprasional jurnal system. Pada kegiatan ini juga peserta sangat antusias dalam melaksanakan kegiatan ini sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa pelatihan ini berhasil.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this study was to develop the English communication skill of the second class of the students of MTs Darul Aminin NW Aikmual Lombok Tengah NTB by using picture to determine the use ofpicture to develop the speaking skill and determine the students' speaking skill after using picture. The study is conducted at the second class of the students of MTs Darul Aminin NW Aikmual Lombok Tengah NTB. There were 40 Students consisting of 26 boys and 16 girls as the subject of the study.This study uses classroom action research (CAR). The results of this study are as follows. First, by applying the picture, it can develop the students' speaking skill. Students able to communicate communicatively, sequentially, well, and correctly, this can be seen after classroom action research has been carried out. Second, by applying the picture to the students in the teaching and the learning process in order to developthe students' English speaking skill, it can be seen through the increasing the results of the scores of English speaking skill.Therefore, it was suggested to the teachers especially the English teachers to used the picture as the teaching material to solve the students' problems not only in the picture but in other English skills too.]]>

<![CDATA[This research study investigates students’ perception of using the Scavenger Hunt game to understand the social context of second language acquisition. The participant of this research was 12 undergraduate students in the 5th semester. The data were collected from questionnaires, documentation, and interview. The data were analyzed using descriptive analysis. This study revealed that Scavenger Hunt is an exciting way to understand the social context of Second Language Acquisition because the students experienced directly and what they did were examples of some issues in learning the social context of Second Language Acquisition (SLA). Teachers and lecturers should consider the integration of Scavenger Hunt and specific topics with some adaptation to make the activity effective in the teaching and learning process.]]>

<![CDATA[Word cards are exactly the right media for students to enrich students’ vocabulary mastery. To prove this argumentation this study was focus on using word cards on students’ achievement in learning vocabulary in classroom. This study used an experimental design and to collect the data, the present researcher used multiple choices instrument (vocabulary test) to get students’ score in learning vocabulary. In analyzing data, the present researcher used t-test to find out the effectiveness of the word card in teaching vocabulary. The result of analysis data that the t-test was 0.74 and t-table was 0.44 with level of significance (95%) from the total of sample was twenty students. It means t-test was higher than t-table (0.74 0.44). Thus, mean alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted, and the null hypothesis (Ho) was rejected. This founding means that there was a significantly effective of using word cards on students’ achievement in learning vocabulary for the tenth grade of MA NW Sikur in the school year 2021-2022.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aimed to know the extent effect of the shadowing technique in developing students' abilities at Institut Pendidikan Nusantara Global. The method used in this study is quasi-experiment, involving two classes as the experiment class. The sample consists of 78 students in the third (3rd) semester. The data collection techniques used are observation sheets and audio tests that must be followed by students. The result of this study then calculates utilizing SPSS to know the difference between the Pre-Test and Post-Test. The result of this study shows that there is an effect of the shadowing technique on students' speaking ability at Institut Pendidikan Nusantara Global. It can be proved by the result of the hypothesis test, which showed a significant level of 0.000, which means <0.05. Thus, it can be concluded that Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected.]]>

<![CDATA[Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini berjudul Pelatihan Bahasa Inggris Dengan Metode Integrated Skill Bagi Santri Pondok Pesantren Raudatuttholibin NW Paokmotong Kecamatan Masbagik. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah membantu para siswa yang kesulitan dalam berbahasa inggris dengan menggunakan metode Integrated Skill. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan ini dengancara memberikan pelatihan kepada para santri dalam mengintegrasikan kemampuan bahasa inggris. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah para santri pondok pesantren menunjukan adanya peningkatan kemampuan berbahasa Inggris yang cukup signifikan setelah mendapatkan pelatihan dan pendampingan. Peningkatan ketrampilan tersebut meliputi, membaca, membuat kalimat sederhana, dan berbicarapara selain itu para siswa sedikit demi sedikit lebih berani untuk mencoba berbicara di depan kelas. Hal ini menjadi pemicu peserta yang lain untuk melakukan hal serupa. Sehingga suasana kelas menjadi lebih interaktif dan aktif.]]>

<![CDATA[This Community Service activity is entitled Training on Making Interactive Learning Media with the Powerpoint Program for Teachers of Integrated Islamic Middle School NW Teko. The aim of this activity is to develop multimedia learning media by utilizing the Powerpoint program which will be developed and implemented for SMP teachers with the hope that it will provide new insights in making learning media, considering the ability of this program in terms of making animations for interesting multimedia learning media in a relatively easy way. The method of implementing this activity is by providing training to teachers by providing training materials and followed by practice. The result of this activity is that the training participants have been able to apply this Powerpoint program to create learning media such as Entering Text and Images, Entering Sound and Video, Creating backgrounds, Setting effects, orders and timings, Creating Hyperlinks between slides, Creating Hyperlinks to URLs.]]>

<![CDATA[The aim of this Community Service activity is to help English teachers at the PAUD level in West Sikur village to find, create and apply materials for English teaching and learning activities interactively and according to the children's ages. To achieve this goal, the training method is through training and theoretical deepening. The results of this activity can be described in general as follows: participants were able to understand the theoretical basis for teaching English in kindergarten or PAUD, participants were able to recognize several English songs that could be used for teaching. participants are able to combine songs and movements to help teach English, participants know and try to read simple English stories, participants are able to create simple media to help teach English, participants are able to plan learning activities with fun activities, and participants know and practice several types of games to help with teaching.]]>

<![CDATA[SIKOMING is the official website of LLDIKTI region VIII which is used for applications for functional lecturer positions in its work area. In its application, many problems arise, such as (a) lecturers do not understand Sikoming; (b) difficulty in filling out the form; (c) difficulty in producing documents as evidence. Of course, this is a concern so training needs to be held. In carrying out this community service, it is carried out through presentations, questions and answers, discussions and practice in filling out application forms via the SIKOMING website. The result of this training activity was that the participants successfully completed the functional position application form via the SIKOMING website. Apart from that, the participants also felt enthusiastic about taking part in the training.]]>
