Abstract

The purposes of this study were to: (1) describe the analysis of the digital teaching materials needed in Tri-N teaching-based learning to develop English language proficiency in elementary schools; (2) describe the feasibility of digital teaching materials based on Tri-N teachings from experts and stakeholders; and (3) describe digital teaching materials based on Tri-N teachings that are efficient for improving elementary students' English competence. A new English learning tool and instructional materials were developed as part of this study. The development approach, often known as research and development (R&D), is being used in this qualitative and quantitative research. Interviews, questionnaires, and observation were the tools employed. Students in grades 5 at SDN Planjan II, SDN Planjan 1, and SDN Monggol served as the research subjects. The development model of Borg & Gall (2003: 775) served as the foundation for the research methods. The study's development process was divided into 10 stages, including research and data gathering, planning, development of the initial form of the product, initial field trials, product revision, field trials, operational product revisions, operational field trials, final product revisions, and dissemination. The results of this research show (1) an analysis of the need for digital teaching materials in Tri-N teaching-based learning to develop English language competence in elementary schools is very necessary. (2) RPP and digital supplementary teaching materials based on Tri-N teachings to be used as teaching materials for extracurricular English activities in elementary schools are feasible based on validation results by 1 expert and 2 stakeholders. The average score obtained was a percentage of 88.6% from expert validation which was categorized as "Very Eligible" and a percentage of 90.36% from stakeholder validation which was categorized as "Very Eligible". (3) The final product of digital teaching materials is declared suitable for use with a sig value. (2 tailed) is <0.05, then Ho1 is rejected and Ha1 is accepted so that there is a significant influence of the use of digital teaching materials on learning outcomes.

Abstract

Character is an important aspect that needs to be developed at this time, considering that various challenges and obstacles that come from outside are very dangerous for the character condition of Indonesian children. The aim of this research is to determine students' perceptions and implementation regarding the importance of character in strengthening digital literacy-based character education through internalizing the teachings of Tamansiswa Tri-Nga. Character education must be carried out well and continuously. The strengthening of character education carried out at SDN Klumpit through digital literacy-based character education through the internalization of Tri-Nga Tamansiswa teachings has gone well but needs to be carried out continuously so that students not only understand, but also have to achieve. action so that the value of love for one's country can be embedded among students.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini dilaksanakan dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi bahasa Inggris siswa SD. Kegiatan PkM dilaksanakan oleh Prodi Pendidikan Dasar dan PGSD bekerja sama dengan siswa SD 1 Sribitan  pada hari Kamis, 2 Februari s.d. 9 Februari 2023. Kegiatan dilaksanakan secara luring di SD 1 Sribitan, Bangun Jiwo, Kasihan. Adapun peserta kegiatan yaitu siswa SD 1 Sribitan, Bangun Jiwo, Kasihan. Pelaksanaan kegiatan diawali dengan pemaparan materi oleh masing-masing 2 narasumber, dilanjutkan sesi pembelajaran bahasa Inggris untuk siswa SD menggunakan Canva oleh mahasiswa Prodi Pendidikan Dasar, PGSD, dan PBI, kemudian diskusi dan tanya jawab, dan dilanjutkan dengan diskusi tanya jawab pembelajaran bahasa Inggris. Hasil dari kegiatan ini yaitu kegiatan berjalan lancar, cukup banyak manfaat yang diperoleh para peserta, diantaranya mendapatkan tambahan pengetahuan terkait pembelajaran bahasa Inggris untuk siswa SD. Community Service Activities (PkM) are carried out with the aim of increasing the English competence of elementary school students. PkM activities were carried out by the Primary Education Study Program and elementary school teacher education collaboration with SD 1 Sribitan students from Thursday, 2 February to 9 February 2023. The activity was carried out offline at SD 1 Sribitan, Bangun Jiwo, Kasihan. The activity participants were SD 1 Sribitan students, Bangun Jiwo, Kasihan. The implementation of the activity began with the presentation of material by each of the 2 speakers, followed by an English learning session for elementary students using Canva by students of the Primary Education Study Program, elementary school teacher education, and  English education then discussion and question and answer, and continued with a question and answer discussion on learning English. The result of this activity was that the activity ran smoothly, and the participants gained quite a lot of benefits, including getting additional knowledge related to learning English for elementary students.

Abstract

Students possess varying abilities in problem-solving, ranging from adeptness to struggles or even inability. This study employs a descriptive content analysis design to scrutinize official documents containing practice exam questions. Data collection involved documentation study, with subsequent analysis utilizing validated assessment sheets and rubrics endorsed by experts. The descriptive method facilitated the analysis and interpretation of data meaning, while quantitative analysis processed research data. The study focused on mathematics exam practice scores, revealing several problematic questions. Out of 25 questions, 11 were deemed acceptable, 8 required correction, and 6 were rejected, necessitating replacement. Questions requiring correction or replacement exhibited a low question discriminating power index, failing to effectively gauge students' proficiency in practice exams. Moreover, the majority of practice test questions posed considerable difficulty for students. Out of the 25 questions, students encountered 1 very difficult, 10 difficult, 10 moderates, and only 4 easy questions, which they struggled to solve adequately. Consequently, the findings underscore the importance of revising practice exam questions to ensure they accurately assess students' abilities and cater to a diverse range of skill levels.

Abstract

Pengembangkan media e-book Sigil yang dimanfaatkan dalam pembelajaran bahasa pada siswa kelas IV SD diharapkan dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan keterampilan berbahasa. Pada artikel ini akan menjelaskan beberapa penemuan studi pendahuluan yang dilakukan untuk pengembangan media e-book Sigil yang digunakan dalam pembelajaran bahasa pada siswa kelas IV SD. Model penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (R&D). Studi lapangan yang dilakukan adalah mencari informasi tentang kebutuhan pengembangan sumber belajar Bahasa Indonesia. Hasil dari penelitian ini diharapkan menjadi dasar pengembangan media e-book Sigil yang digunakan dalam pembelajaran bahasa pada siswa kelas IV SD untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan keterampilan berbahasa pada siswa. E-book lebih dipilih daripada buku cetak dengan alasan lebih praktis dan ekonomis sehingga dapat menarik minat siswa terhadap bacaan serta dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai media yang digunakan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berbahasa. Nilai-nilai karakter dapat disisipkan dalam media e-book Sigil tersebut.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas pembelajaran berdiferensiasi yang diterapkan pada pembelajaran IPS di kelas V dalam meningkatkan kreativitas dan rasa percaya diri peserta didik. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Penelitian ini menggambarkan proses perencanaan, kegiatan pembelajaran, evaluasi sampai hasil dalam pembelajaran yang menerapkan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan tes diagnostik, observasi, unjuk kerja, dan tes akhir. Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas V SD Negeri Kiyaran 2 Kapanewon Cangkringan Tahun Pelajaran 2022/2023 sejumlah 14 peserta didik yang terdiri dari 8 laki-laki dan 6 perempuan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran berdiferensiasi memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap kreativitas dan percaya diri peserta didik. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan meningkatnya nilai rata-rata kreativitas peserta didik dari kondisi awal 56,43 meningkat pada siklus I menjadi 67,86 dan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 79,29. Tingkat percaya diri peserta didik juga mengalami peningkatan yang semula 60,77 meningkat pada siklus I menjadi 73,85 dan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 80. Selain itu, pembelajaran berdiferensiasi juga dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik dengan ditunjukkan nilai ulangan rata-rata yang semula 59,71 mampu meningkat pada siklus I menjadi 80,21 dan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 84,14.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas V SD Negeri Kepuharjo, Cangkringan Tahun Ajaran 2022/2023 dengan menggunakan model Quantum Teaching. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini menggunakan model Kemmis&Mc Taggart. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Sekolah Dasar Negeri Kepuharjo, Cangkringan, Sleman. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas V SD Negeri Kepuharjo yang berjumlah 23 siswa terdiri dari 15 siswa laki-laki dan 8 siswa perempuan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes dan observasi. Instrumen penelitian adalah soal tes dan lembar observasi. Data penelitian ini dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif dan deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian dengan menerapkan model Quantum Teaching dengan sintaks TANDUR yang menggunakan teknik pembelajaran bervariasi dan memfokuskan pada keterlibatan siswa dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas V SD Negeri Kepuharjo. Berdasarkan tes pada siklus I setelah menggunakan model Quantum Teaching, nilai rata-rata meningkat dari 65 menjadi 79 dengan ketuntasan belajar juga meningkat dari 21% menjadi 91%. Pada siklus II, dengan adanya perbaikan pada siklus I, diperoleh nilai rata-rata 86 dengan ketuntasan belajar menjadi 100%.

Abstract

Pembelajaran konvensional dan rendahnya kemandirian belajar menyebabkan siswa bergantung pada guru sehingga kreativitas, berpikir kritis, dan daya saing sulit berkembang. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh media pembelajaran berbasis website terhadap peningkatan kemandirian belajar siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah campuran kuantitatif dan kualitatif dengan 29 siswa kelas I sebagai responden. Data diperoleh melalui survei, wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi, lalu dianalisis melalui tahapan pengumpulan, reduksi, pengkodean, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil menunjukkan kemandirian belajar terdiri atas kemampuan, keinginan, dan kebebasan belajar. Mayoritas siswa berada pada kategori “sangat mampu” dan “cukup mampu” memahami materi Pancasila Bab 3. Kesimpulannya, media berbasis website efektif meningkatkan kemandirian belajar siswa kelas I. Penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya kolaborasi guru, sekolah, dan pihak terkait untuk memperkuat kemandirian belajar di lingkungan sekolah.

Abstract

Limited technological infrastructure, suboptimal teacher skills, and the dominance of conventional learning methods continue to hamper the implementation of interactive educational resources in elementary schools. This study aims to analyze the effect of interactive media on student learning motivation. The method is a qualitative case study of two teachers in grades 4 and 5. Data were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed using the Miles & Huberman model, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results show that interactive media can increase student engagement, enthusiasm, and understanding of the material, while also facilitating teachers in delivering learning and creating a more enjoyable and collaborative classroom atmosphere. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of improving teachers' competence and the availability of technological facilities so that the use of interactive media can operate optimally to enhance the quality of learning in elementary schools.

Abstract

General Background: Scientific literacy in elementary education is increasingly essential in response to technological development and digital learning environments. Specific Background: Science learning in elementary schools remains dominated by teacher-centered methods, resulting in abstract conceptual understanding that does not align with students’ concrete cognitive development stages, particularly in Earth and Moon motion topics. Knowledge Gap: Although Android-based learning media have been widely developed for science education, differentiated science media specifically designed for Earth and Moon movement materials at the elementary level remain limited. Aims: This study aimed to develop, validate, and test Android-based differentiated science learning media designed to support elementary students’ literacy skills. Results: The developed media demonstrated high feasibility, with material validity reaching 87%, media feasibility 75%, and practitioner practicality between 95–96%. Trial results showed significant improvements between pretest and posttest scores, supported by moderate N-Gain values ranging from 0.64 to 0.67 and statistically significant paired sample test results. Novelty: This study presents differentiated Android-based science media integrating visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learning modes for abstract Earth and Moon motion concepts. Implications: The findings indicate that differentiated digital science media can support concrete understanding, promote independent learning, and provide practical instructional alternatives for elementary science classrooms.
