Abstract

This research aims to analyze the improvement of metacognitive strategies and students' self-directed learning in the implementation of blended learning assisted by E-LKPD Liveworksheets in 10th-grade classes at SMAN 2 Gedong Tataan during the second semester, focusing on environmental change topics. The research was conducted at SMAN 2 Gedong Tataan using a quasi-experimental method with a Pretest-Posttest Equivalent Control Groups Design. The research sample consisted of 64 students from 10th-grade Science 1 (X MIPA 1) and 10th-grade Science 2 (X MIPA 2) classes, selected through purposive sampling. Data were statistically analyzed using the Independent Samples T-test with a 5% confidence level, utilizing IBM SPSS Statistics 25. The research findings indicated that the implementation of blended learning assisted by E-LKPD Liveworksheets significantly improved students' metacognitive strategies, with a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05). The highest indicator for metacognitive strategies was procedural knowledge (75.78%) with a very good rating, while the lowest was debugging strategies (71.09%) with a good rating.Keywords: blended learning, E-LKPD, Liveworksheets, metacognitive strategies

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan menghasilkan instrument penilaian yang valid, praktis, dan efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir sistem peserta didik. Desain penelitian menggunakan model Borg and Gall. Tahap uji coba terbatas menggunakan desain penelitian eksperimen bentuk pre-post control group design, dengan jumlah 15 siswa kelas VII di SMPN 1 Terbanggi Besar dan 15 Siswa kelas VII di SMPN 2 Seputih Agung. Subjek uji coba produk menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan dua sekolah di Lampung Tengah. SMPN 1 Terbanggi Besar sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan SMPN 2 Seputih Agung sebagai kelompok kontrol. Kevalidan instrument penilaian hasil pengembangan diperoleh dari hasil validasi ahli pada aspek kesesuaian isi 99,6%, konstruksi 86,6% dan bahasa 84,6%. Kepraktisan instrument penilaian ditinjau dari penilaian keterlaksanaan pembelajaran dengan instrument penilaian, respon pendidik dan siswa. Keefektifan didasarkan pada nilai n-Gain dan effect size tes kemampuan berpikir sistem. Hasil penelitian respon pendidik menunjukkan bahwa Aspek kemenarikan 88%, kebermanfaatan 100% dan keterbacaan 91%. Hasil respon siswa menunjukkan bahwa: Aspek kemenarikan 87%, kebermanfaatan 87% dan keterbacaan 90%. Instrument penilaian untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir sistem dinyatakan valid ditinjau dari aspek isi, konstruksi dan bahasa dengan rata-rata persentase nilai sebesar 97%. Instrument penilaian praktis digunakan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir sistem siswa ditinjau dari keterlaksanaan pembelajaran dengan rata-rata persentase nilai sebesar 90,42% dengan interpretasi hampir seluruh aktivitas terlaksana serta rata-rata persentase nilai respon siswa dan pendidik sebesar 87% dan 89% yang keduanya berkategori sangat tinggi. Intrumen penilaian efektif meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir sistem dengan nilai rata-rata n-Gain sebesar 0,65 pada kelompok eksperimen dan 0,58 pada kelompok kontrol yang keduanya berkategori sedang. Nilai effect size kelas 0,99 yang menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan menggunakan instrument penilaian memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir sistem siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to apply the application through Flipped Classroom learning media assisted by Sevima Edlink application in improving students' critical thinking skills on excretory system material in class XI Senior High School. This study used a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental design using a pretest-posttest control group design. Data analysis showed a significant difference in improving critical thinking skills. The experimental group got an average score of 0.60 (Medium) while the control group got an average score of 0.24 (Low), which was shown by the results of the N-Gain and t-test statistical tests. Thus, the application of PBL (Problem Based Learning) model through Flipped Classroom assisted by Sevima Edlink can be an effective alternative in improving students' critical thinking skills, especially in learning biology. Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Pbl (Problem Based Learning) Melalui Flipped Classroom Berbantuan Sevima Edlink Untuk Meningkatkan Keterampilan Berpikir Kritis Siswa ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menerapkan penerapan melalui media pembelajaran Flipped Classroom berbantuan aplikasi Sevima Edlink dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa pada materi sistem ekskresi di kelas XI SMA. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain quasi-experimental menggunakan pretest-posttest control group design. Analisis data menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan dalam peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis. kelompok eksperimen mendapat rata-rata nilai 0.60 (Sedang) sedangkan kelompok kontrol mendapat rata rata nilai 0.24 (Rendah), yang ditunjukkan oleh hasil uji statistik N-Gain dan t-test. Dengan demikian, penerapan model PBL (Problem Based Learning) melalui Flipped Classroom berbantuan Sevima Edlink dapat menjadi alternatif yang efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa, khususnya dalam pembelajaran biologi.

Abstract

This study aims to develop differentiated electronic student worksheets (e-LKPD) integrated with Higher-Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) and multiple intelligences that are valid, practical, and effective in enhancing students’ systems thinking skills. The research follows the Borg and Gall R&D model. The study population comprised eighth-grade students from SMPN 1 Mesuji in the 2024/2025 academic year. A purposive sampling technique was employed to assign class VIIIA as the experimental group and class VIIIB as the control group. Data collection instruments included need analysis questionnaires, expert validation forms, student and teacher response questionnaires, pretest and posttest items, reflection sheets, and learning implementation observation sheets. Data analysis was conducted using independent sample t-tests on n-Gain scores. The findings revealed that: (1) the e-LKPD was rated as highly valid (95%) by expert reviewers; (2) it was considered highly practical by students (95%) and teachers (100%); (3) it was effective in improving systems thinking skills with a high n-Gain score (0.75) and a large effect size (0.95); and (4) it achieved a very high implementation level (87.19%). These results indicate that the developed e-LKPD is suitable for use in science learning, particularly on the topic of the digestive system, to enhance students' systems thinking skills.

Abstract

Students in pre-service teacher education have difficulty formulating questions, particularly HOTS questions. The purpose of this study was to describe the distribution of questions, the percentage of HOTS (Higher Order Thinking Skills) questions, and the obstacles faced by pre-service teachers in creating HOTS-based questions. The research method uses qualitative methods with descriptive data presentation. The research was conducted at the Biology Education Study Program with a sample of 2020 pre-service teachers, with 57 pre-service teachers selected by purposive sampling. The data source is multiple-choice questions made by pre-service teachers and tested on students in pilot schools in Lampung Province, Indonesia. The results of the study showed that 72.46% of the questions were in the valid category and 18.84% of the HOTS questions were in the low category. The obstacles found were difficulties in compiling questions, especially HOTS questions, difficulties in making homogeneous alternative answers, and distractors.

Abstract

Adanya peralihan proses kegiatan belajar mengajar dari sistem pembelajaran tatap muka menjadi sistem pembelajaran daring tentu memberikan perubahan yang cukup signifikan. Pembelajaran daring menuntut siswa untuk lebih aktif dalam kegiatan pembelajaran karena guru tidak bisa mengawasi proses belajar mereka secara langsung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi guru dan siswa, self-efficacy, penguasaan konsep, serta interelasi antara self-efficacy dengan penguasaan konsep siswa kelas X MIPA pada pembelajaran daring. Desain yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pendekatan korelasional. Sampel penelitian terdiri atas 3 guru biologi dan 118 siswa kelas X MIPA SMA Negeri 1 Seputih Surabaya yang dicuplik dari populasi dengan menggunakan teknik total sampling. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Juni semester genap tahun 2021. Data kuantitatif berupa penguasaan konsep siswa kelas X materi perubahan lingkungan diperoleh menggunakan soal, sedangkan data kualitatif berupa persepsi guru, persepsi siswa, dan self-efficacy siswa menggunakan angket dalam bentuk google form. Data persepsi, self-efficacy dan penguasaan konsep dianalisis deskriptif, sedangkan interelasi self-efficacy dengan penguasaan konsep dianalisis inferensial dengan Product Moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan persepsi guru berkategori baik (67,28%). Persepsi siswa berkategori baik (69,71%). Self-efficacy siswa berkategori tinggi (67,87%). Penguasaan konsep berkategori tinggi (39%). Terdapat hubungan yang positif antara self-efficacy dengan penguasaan konsep siswa kelas X MIPA SMA Negeri 1 Seputih Surabaya dengan derajat hubungan yang rendah.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe teacher's perception toward usage of interactive e-books based Problem Based Learning (PBL) to Envhance Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS). The research was conducted in 50 junior high school science teachers. The method used in this research is a mixed method with Sequential Explanatory Design. The method used in this study is a mixed method with Sequential Explanatory Design. Data is retrieved using questionnaire. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis. The survey results show that students have a positive perception of interactive e-books based PBL. The results of the analysis of e-books, most eachers have not used interactive e-books with a PBL approach to provide an understanding of science. E-books that have not trained students' HOTS are also included in the low category because teacher has not set strategies, methods, models and lack of knowledge about technology. Abstract

Disaster literacy needs to be introduced to provide understanding to students and minimize disaster risk. The purpose of this study was to determine the use of an interactive emodule based on Microsoft Sway which is valid and effective in increasing students’ literacy. The design of this study uses a 4D (four-D) Research dan Development (R&D) model. The research sample consisted of control and experimental classes with instruments in the form of test instruments, questionnaires, and interviews. Data analysis was based on n-gain data, effect size, and descriptive percentages of teacher and student responses. The percentages of construct, content, and language validation obtained were 84.68%,80.58%, and 86% respectively, with all valid criteria. Abstract

Scientific literacy about awareness and problem-solving skills related to environmental issues is one of the competencies that must be instilled in students in science learning in the future. However, teaching materials that have the potential to instill these competencies have not been easily accessed by students. The purpose of this study was to design and validate an integrated electronic module with a STEM approach on environmental pollution materials to improve problem-solving skills. This research uses Research and Development (R&D) method with ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The E-Module is designed for Project-Based learning (PJBL-STEM) with steps of Reflection, Research, Discovery, Application and Communication. The results of construct validation obtained a percentage of 89.4%, content validation yielded a percentage of 95% and language validation 91.7% with all very valid criteria. Based on the pre-test and post-test trials of the use of e-modules carried out on students, it was found that the N-gain was 0.40 with problem-solving criteria moderate for students. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of laboratory-based inquiry learning models with group discussion methods in improving student learning outcomes. The research subjects were students of the 2012/2013 biology education who took the vertebrate zoology course. The sample used in this study was taken using a cluster random sampling technique of 2 classes. The concept discovery observation data in the form of quantitative data obtained through cognitive test sheets consisting of 25 questions and tested using the t test with a real level α = 0.05.
