Abstract

North Sumatra is the center of oil palm plantations in Indonesia. Palm oil is one of the leading commodities in North Sumatra province. Based on BPPS, North Sumatra has a very large land area of 440,000 ha and production yields of 7,000,000 tons. This study focuses on grouping the area of plantations and oil palm production in the districts/cities of North Sumatra province using the K-Medoids clustering method. In this grouping, several forms of the number of clusters are used to obtain a more optimal grouping. Each form of the number of clusters in this grouping is evaluated based on the DBI value. The smallest DBI value is the best form of the number of clusters in grouping plant area and oil palm production using K-Medoids. The results of this study indicate that the form of the number of clusters 2 is the best form of the number of clusters with a DBI value of 0.099.Keywords: Data mining, Clustering, K-Medoids, Davies Bouldin Index.Sumatera Utara merupakan sentral perkebunan sawit di Indonesia. Kelapa sawit merupakan salah satu komoditas unggulan propinsi Sumatera Utara. Berdasarkan BPPS Sumatera Utara memiliki lahan yang sangat luas mencapai 440.000 ha dan hasil produksi mencapi 7.000.000 ton. Penelitian ini memfokuskan pada pengelompokkan luas tanaman dan produksi kelapa sawit di kabupaten/kota propinsi Sumatera Utara menggunakan metode K-Medoids clustering. Pada pengelompokkan ini menggunakan beberapa bentuk jumlah cluster untuk mendapatkan pengelompokkan yang lebih optimal. Masing-masing bentuk jumlah cluster pada pengelompokkan ini di evaluasi berdasarkan nilai DBI. Nilai DBI terkecil merupakan bentuk jumlah cluster terbaik pada pengelompokkkan luas tanaman dan produksi kepala sawit menggunakan K-Medoids. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bentuk  jumlah cluster 2 merupakan bentuk jumlah cluster terbaik dengan nilai DBI 0,099.Kata kunci: Data mining,  Clustering, K-Medoids, Davies Bouldin Index.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to design a monitoring system of PDAM customer water meter data using ATMEGA 16 microcontroller and to know the accuracy of the system that has been designed. The results of this research will be expected to help the PDAM (local water company) in overcoming the existing problems regarding the recording of water meter data is not accurate. In this research there are 5 sample of meter data which used by method used is demonstration application. In the research of monitoring system of customer water meter data there are 2 forms of testing conducted that is the testing of water flowmeter sensor and data transmission GSM SIM 800. From the test results accuracy of flowmeter water sensor reaches 100% while GSM SIM 800 data transmission only 95%.

Abstract

Adaline is a single-layer supervised learning algorithm where the input layer is directly related to the output layer. Adaline learning uses the delta rule, which adjusts the weights to reduce the difference between network inputs to the desired output and output units. The main problem of this study is to find an alternative to the Adaline algorithm for predicting stroke with seven symptom attributes. This study seeks the best Adaline algorithm performance by comparing four forms of input and output activation patterns. The test results show the results of the same accuracy that is equal to 100%; the same epoch, namely one epoch, and the average weight change is different. The Adaline algorithm can predict stroke well with 100% accuracy.

Abstract

Computer security is very important in data exchange, especially flight data. The data sent is confidential data. This data should not be known by irresponsible people. Data theft is a risk that can occur which can result in large losses. This data must be encrypted so that it is safe when sending. Good delivery does not need to exchange keys so that the key is not given to the recipient who will decrypt the data. Security needs to be improved by using the Three-pass Protocol scheme where this scheme will maintain that there is no exchange of keys between the sender and the recipient of the data. Each party will carry out the encryption and decryption process using their respective keys. This key does not need to be given to other parties. The concept of the Three-pass protocol uses the Vigenère and Beaufort Cipher algorithms. The sender will carry out the encryption and decryption process using the Vigenère Cipher algorithm while the recipient will carry out the encryption and decryption process using the BeaufortCipher algorithm. The encrypted data will automatically maintain the authenticity of the data when the data is decrypted again. The combination of the two algorithms with multiple keys makes the encryption results more difficult to decrypt by unauthorized parties. The result of the combination of these two methods is that the encryption quality is better than the Beaufort or Vigenère methods alone. By utilizing the Three-pass Protocol scheme, flight data will be kept confidential. Keywords—Beaufort; Vigenère; Three-pass; Protocol Keamanan komputer sangat penting diterapkan dalam pertukaran data, terutama data penerbangan. Data-data yang dikirim adalah data yang bersifat rahasia. Data ini tidak boleh diketahui oleh orang yang tidak bertanggung jawab. Pencurian data adalah resiko yang dapat terjadi sehingga dapat mengakibatkan kerugian besar. Data-data ini harus dienkripsi sehingga aman pada saat melakukanpengiriman. Pengiriman yang baik tidak perlu melakukan pertukaran kunci sehingga kunci tersebut tidak diberikan kepada penerima yang akan melakukan dekripsi data tersebut. Pengamanan perlu ditingkatkan dengan menggunakan skema Three-pass Protocol dimana skema ini akan mempertahankan agar tidak terjadi pertukaran kunci antara pengirim dan penerima data. Masing-masing pihak akan melakukan proses enkripsi dan dekripsi menggunakan kunci masing-masing. Kunci ini tidak perlu diberikan kepada pihaklain. Konsep Three-pass protocolmenggunakan algoritma Vigenère dan BeaufortCipher. Pengirim akan melakukan proses enkripsi dan dekripsi dengan menggunakan algoritma Vigenère Cipher sementara penerima akan melakukan proses enkripsi dan dekripsi menggunakan algoritma BeaufortCipher.Data yang terenkripsi secara otomatis akan menjaga keaslian data tersebut pada saat data tersebut kembali didekripsi. Kombinasi kedua algoritma dengan kunci ganda agar hasil enkripsi semakin sulit untuk didekripsi oleh pihak yang tidak berwenang. Hasil dari kombinasi kedua metode ini didapatkan kualitas enkripsi yang lebih baik dibandingkan dengan satu metode Beaufort atau Vigenère saja.Dengan memanfaatkanskema Three-pass Protocol dihasikan data penerbangan akan terjaga kerahasiaannya. Abstract

Smart card merupakan kartu cerdas yang didalamnya terdapat mikroprosesor dan memori elektronik untuk menyimpan informasi. Smart card memerlukan reader untuk membaca informasi. Salah satu type dari smart card adalah contact less dimana kartu ini menggunakan teknologi Near Field Communication (NFC). Teknologi Near Field Communication (NFC) adalah teknologi komunikasi nirkabel yang menggunakan induksi magnet berbasis teknologi Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) dalam jarak beberapa centimeter saja. Manfaat dari smart card memberikan kemudahan dalam mengakses informasi. Politeknik Penerbangan (Poltekbang) Medan merupakan salah satu institusi pendidikan vokasi bidang penerbangan yang saat ini sudah memiliki sistem informasi dalam pelayanannya kepada stakeholder. Sistem informasi yang ada antara lain : Sistem Pendaftaran Taruna Baru (Sipencatar), Sistem Informasi Akademik (SIAKAD), Sistem Informasi Keuagan (SIMKEU). Dengan pembaharuan teknologi diharapkan smart card mampu mengakomodir penyampaian informasi yang cepat serta memberikan layanan akses yang sangat aman.  Teknologi NFC yang berintegrasi dalam sebuah smart card dengan beberapa keunggulan antara lain tidak mudah rusak dan dapat dimanfaatkan pada perangkat mobile khususnya android yang memiliki harga murah. smart card diharapakan sebagai kartu yang akan menggantikan kartu identitas taruna, yang akan dijadikan sebagai kartu multifungsi untuk akses beberapa fasilitas yang ada di Politeknik Penerbangan Medan.

Abstract

Robot bergerak merupakan salah satu solusi untuk mengatasi gagal panen yang disebabkan oleh hama cabai. Mobile robot yang dibahas dalam makalah ini digunakan untuk menyemprotkan cairan pestisida ke batang tanaman cabai untuk mencegah serangan hama pada tanaman. Makalah ini membahas tentang perancangan gerak robot penyemprot pestisida dengan aplikasi Fuzzy Logic Controller. Penggunaan robot ini diharapkan dapat mengurangi beban kerja petani dan membantu menghasilkan panen yang baik. Gerak robot dibagi menjadi dua kondisi, yaitu dapat dikendalikan dengan remote control sebagai pengontrol (manual) dan dengan menggunakan sensor (otomatis). Pergerakan mobile robot memiliki dampak yang signifikan terhadap navigasi dan desain sistem penggerak. Pengatur kecepatan robot dilakukan dengan mengatur Pulse Width Modulation dari motor DC yang terpasang pada roda robot, yaitu 90 untuk kecepatan lambat dan 220 untuk kecepatan tinggi. Fuzzy Logic Controller pada mobile robot ini berfungsi sebagai penggerak pengambilan keputusan secara otonom untuk mendeteksi rintangan di depan mobile robot dan batang yang dituju. Abstract

A Blind people with visual impairments, tools to carry out activities are needed. If they do not use assistive devices, blind people will experience difficulties when carrying out daily activities such as reaching obstacles that are near them. As for those who use tools that are still classified as manual, such as sticks made of stainless steel. However, the stick is considered less effective because the reach of the stick is not so wide and long, it is also less efficient when used in the midst of the activities of people nearby. On the basis of these problems this research was conducted to help blind people be aware of the obstacles around. In this paper discussed an use of the HC-SR04 sensor functions as a detector for objects or holes in front that block the blind while walking. While the use of the buzzer on the blind aids is used as a sound output. The output sound produced is when the critical distance is less than 100 cm, the buzzer will sound and the blind must be aware that there is an object or hole in front. But it will be different if the distance is more than 100 cm then the road ahead is safe in the sense that the blind can continue walking.

Abstract

Objects can be interpreted as all inanimate and living things that have various shapes and sizes. For humans to determine the presence of objects, to classify and estimate the distance of objects around them is not difficult. But for a computer to do the work mentioned above with an accuracy level that reaches up to greater than 90% is not easy. Object detection is important in the field of computer vision because it is used to monitor and track objects, while robots that use cameras as sensors are used to avoid obstacles, follow objects, classify and so on. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to determine the level of accuracy of the CNN method in classifying objects. The steps used to complete this research were literature study, collecting digital image data, determining training, and testing data, designing the CNN program, conducting training and testing. From the results of testing the CNN method that has been carried out, it is known that the level of accuracy in classifying objects reaches 98%.

Abstract

Security systems are needed to maintain the safety and comfort of an area as well as on the Medan Aviation Polytechnic campus which requires a security system to protect the campus area. In an effort to maintain security and assist surveillance in the Medan Aviation Polytechnic campus area, an intrusion detection system is designed to monitor areas that are rarely reached by security officers to monitor any suspicious activity. The purpose of this design is to detect unauthorized activities so that it can assist security officers in maintaining security in the Medan Aviation Polytechnic campus environment. Artificial intelligence in this system helps to determine the target detected by the webcam, so that the buzzer will sound if the target detected is human. The results of this study show that this system is able to detect humans and Artificial Intelligence can detect humans so that the buzzer sounds when a human is detected.

Abstract

Malnutrition is a serious public health issue affecting quality of life in many rural areas. Comprehensive, evidence-based approaches are needed to identify dietary patterns associated with this condition. In this study, we applied the Apriori algorithm for data mining to analyze the relationship between dietary patterns and malnutrition prevalence in Secanggang Village. Using Apriori, we discovered significant associative patterns between foods and malnutrition. Our analysis showed several dietary patterns with sufficiently high support and confidence, indicating potentially strong associations with malnutrition. These patterns may include combinations of less diverse or nutritious foods, which could be risk factors for malnutrition. Our findings provide valuable insights for authorities and health institutions to formulate more effective intervention programs in tackling malnutrition in Secanggang Village. By understanding the relationship between dietary patterns and malnutrition, prevention and treatment efforts can be better targeted to positively impact community health and welfare. Further research and cross-sectoral collaboration are still needed to comprehensively address the complex challenges of malnutrition.
