Abstract

Sometimes the working relationship established between employers and workers or trade unions can run well. Sometimes differences in goals or interests owned by the two parties can cause conflicts or disputes that, if the organization or company cannot handle them properly, will harm the sustainability of the business undertaken by the organization. Therefore, it is necessary to have an industrial relations dispute resolution mechanism that can be done in two ways: through litigation (court) and non-litigation (outside the court). This study aims to provide a pattern of research overview with the theme of industrial relations dispute resolution with data obtained from several reputable international/national journals published between 2017 to 2023. The research method used, namely in the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) Method, is useful in identifying, reviewing, evaluating, and interpreting many studies obtained with research topics or themes that attract attention, as well as with certain relevant research questions. The results showed that the dominant platform used in research on the theme of industrial relations dispute resolution is the settlement mechanism and the role of trade unions in resolving labour relations disputes.

Abstract

This study was conducted to analyze the factors influencing employee performance, mediated by job satisfaction, among permanent lecturers at accredited private universities in Bandung City. This research falls under verification research, aiming to test the validity of a hypothesis designed through field data collection. The data processing and analysis techniques employed in this study included descriptive statistical tests and structural equation model (SEM) tests. The population for this study comprised all permanent lecturers at accredited private universities in Bandung City, totaling 1,009 individuals, with a sample size of 286. The sampling technique utilized in this study was cluster sampling. The results indicate that psychological contract violation, work-life balance, and career development, both directly and indirectly through job satisfaction as the mediating variable, affect employee performance. However, not all formulated hypotheses yield acceptable results.

Abstract

This research aimed to assess the influence of a conducive work environment on enhancing employee performance at PT. Astra Honda Motor Sampurna, encompassing a population of 32 employees. The study employed a quantitative research approach, utilizing a saturated sampling method, where the entire population served as the sample. Data processing and analysis involved descriptive statistics, research instrument testing (validity, reliability, and classical assumption tests), simple regression analysis, and hypothesis testing (t and F tests) conducted through SPSS version 23.0.Results indicated a positive and significant impact of the work environment on improving employee performance at PT. Astra Honda Motor Sampurna. Consequently, the research concluded that the work environment plays a crucial role in influencing employee performance. Organizations capable of fostering a safe and comfortable work environment can witness enhanced employee performance. Conversely, if the work environment is perceived as less conducive, it may lead to suboptimal employee performance. This underscores the importance of creating a supportive and positive workplace atmosphere to maximize employee potential and productivity.

Abstract

The government of Bandung city had a responsibility to run administration, development of the government, and to provide excellent service for the community to create dignigfied, excellent, comfortable, and prosperous Bandung community. The success of the government in achieving performance targets was not balanced by the improvement of their employees’ performance. The aim of the study was to analyze the quality of work life, communication within the organization, work satisfaction and employees discipline within the government of Bandung, and the influence among these variables as well. The method of the study was explanatory survey. The population of this study was regional civil servants in Bandung city. Proportionate random sampling was used to 393 staff members of regional work units within the city of Bandung. The instrument was questionnaire, and data analysis used path analysis with the assist of a statistical package named SPSS 19.0. Based on the results of the study, it could be concluded that the employee performance will be built through quality of work life, effectiveness of organizational communication, job satisfaction, and work discipline. Recommendation are: Bandung City Government facilitates the development of employee skills, develops organizational communication more interactively, improves job satisfaction, improves work discipline, and optimizes the work time for each main task settlement

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Kepemimpinan yang Etis dan Keefektifan Kepemimpinan terhadap Kinerja Pegawai di Badan Pengembangan SDM Provinsi Jawa Barat. Populasi yang diteliti merupakan keseluruhan pegawai yang bekerja di Badan Pengembangan SDM Provinsi Jawa Barat dengan jumlah sebanyak 122 orang, dengan sampel yang diambil berjumlah sebanyak 93 orang. Metode penelitian verifikatif yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini merupakan teknik yang memperhatikan keadaan lokus penelitian secara sistematis, faktual, dan akurat yang dilakukan melalui cara dikumpulkannya data tersebut dari lokus penelitian, dianalisisnya dan kemudian diambil suatu kesimpulan. Hasil penelitiannya diketahui bahwa, baik secara parsial ataupun simultan, ethical leadership dan eefectiveness leadership berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap Kinerja Pegawai.
