AbstractBackground: Infertility is a problem faced by married couples who have been married for at least one year, have regular sexual intercourse without using contraception but have not succeeded in obtaining a pregnancy. Age and stress level are factors that are closely related to a woman's fertility rate. This study aims to identify the relationship between age and stress levels with the incidence of infertility. Method: This study was an observational analytic study with a hospital based case control design at Poli Obgyn RSUD dr. Soetomo Surabaya was carried out from March until April 2019. Abstract

AbstractIntroduction : Menarche is the first occurrence of menstruation in the female. The more developing times, the age of menarche is getting earlier. Currently, the average teenage girls have menarche at 11 years old. With psychologically and emotionally unstable and insufficient knowledge of elementary school students, teenage girls are required to be ready for having menarche. Therefore, the readiness in facing menarche is essential to be studied to measure self-readiness if menarche suddenly comes to elementary school students. Furthermore, the knowledge factor, especially about menarche, is important to be conducted a measurement to find out whether there is a relation with readiness in facing menarche in students. Method: This study used an observational analytics method with a cross-sectional design. The number of samples was 53 students, and the sampling technique used the total sampling. The independent variable is knowledge, and the dependent variable is the readiness in facing menarche. This study was conducted on 4th-grade and 5th-grade students in SDN (State Elementary School) Kalurip Purworejo. The data collection technique of the study was conducted online using questionnaires, which were distributed in personal chat to the students and the students' guardians through the Google Form link. The data analysis used the chi-square test. Results: The results of the study show that students' knowledge is in the lack category (52.8%), and students are in the not ready category (62.3%) in facing menarche. The results of the chi-square test show the p-value of 0.000001 (p < 0.05). Conclusion: There is a relationship between knowledge and readiness in facing menarche. The less knowledge the more unprepared it is in facing menarche.

Abstract

AbstractBackground and Purpose : The prevalence of Bacterial Vaginosis (BV) among Asian women in India and Indonesia is 32% while in the case of BV in 2018 the obstetric clinic of Dr. Soetomo Regional Hospital is 181 BV sufferers. The impact of BV on Pelvic Organ Prolapse (POP) patients, namely the delay in POP treatment such as BV pessaries can be influenced by age, menopausal status, and BMI. This study aims to analyze the relationship of age, menopausal status, and BMI with the incidence of BV in POP patients. Methods: This study used observational analytics with a retrospective and cross sectional approach. The number of samples used was 86 patients. Samoel taking technique with total sampling. The independent variable is the incidence of BV, while the dependent variable is age, menopause status, BMI. Bivariate data analysis using chi square, fisher's exact test and multivariate test using multiple logistic regression tests. Results: The results showed a positive BV prevalence of 76.7% with the majority of patients aged over 60 years at 44.2%, having menopause at 81.4%, and having a BMI of 18.5-24.5 at 47.7%. Fisher's exact test analysis test showed p value of maternal age = 0.003 (RR = 6.398) and p value of BMI = 0.767 (p> 0.005). Chi square analysis test showed p value of menopause status = 0.009 (RR = 4.833). The multiple logistic regression analysis test showed that maternal age was the most dominant factor with a value of p = 0.006 (OR = 6.398 (1,711-23,929)). Conclusion: There is a relationship between age and menopausal status with the incidence of BV. Age is the most dominant independent factor in the incidence of BV.

Abstract

AbstractBackground: The menstrual cycle can be said to be normal if the interval is between 21-35 days. The prevalence rates associated with menstrual cycle disorders were found in the range of 15.8-89.5. Nutritional status is one of the factors that cause menstrual cycle disorders, where nutritional status can be determined using body mass index and measuring the percentage of fat in the body. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between nutritional status and the menstrual cycle using the literature review method. The formulation of the problem in this research is determined by PICO, namely: "is there a relationship between nutritional status and menstrual cycle disorders?". A total of 749 literary works obtained from the Google Scholar, Science Direct, PubMed and ProQuest databases were used as a literature review source, where in screening the literature the inclusion and exclusion criteria were seen, which had previously been determined so that finally six literatures were reviewed. Results: The cause of menstrual cycle disorders has been found in adolescents with an average value of 18.4-37.8 and the percentage of body fat between 12.80-34.80. Conclusion: Based on all literature that has been reviewed, it can be concluded that menstrual cycle disorders have a significant relationship with body mass index and body fat percentage.

Abstract

Background: Social norms that assume that talking about reproductive health is taboo and that basic education is often misunderstood can encourage adolescents to engage in uncontrolled sexual behavior. Lack of knowledge regarding the importance of reproductive health can increase deviations in social behavior. The number of early marriages that occurred in Ponorogo increased by about 50 percent in the range from January to August 2020. The purpose of the research was to know about the effect of audiovisual media on improving knowledge about reproductive and sexual health rights in SMK N 1 Ponorogo. Methods: The design of this study is quasi-experimental with the research design of the pretest-posttest questionnaire with control group design. The total sample of 84 respondents was taken using a simple random sampling technique. The population used is class XII students of SMK N 1 Ponorogo. The sample used met the inclusion criteria, namely a healthy state, class XII and was willing to be a respondent. The independent variable is education using audio-visual media about reproductive and sexual health rights and the dependent variable is the level of knowledge. The collected data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test.  Results: There was an influence of providing education through audio-visual media on increasing knowledge about reproductive and sexual health rights in the experimental group after being given audio-visual media on health education with a p value (0.001). Conclusions: Providing audio visual media about reproductive health education can improve knowledge and information in adolescents. Keywords : knowledge, reproductive and sexual health rights, audio-visual media
