Abstract

Abstract: This study investigates the implementation of certified teachers’ professional competencies and their influence on the quality and effectiveness of learning at SMPN 12 Poleang Barat. The research particularly focuses on five key domains: subject matter mastery, development of contextually relevant instructional materials, integration of technology in pedagogical practices, continuous assessment, and sustained professional engagement through reflective practice and scholarly participation. Employing a qualitative approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, classroom observations, and document analysis. The findings reveal a range of variability in the application of professional competencies among certified teachers. While certain educators demonstrated the ability to transform their competencies into structured, adaptive, and participatory learning environments, others exhibited inconsistencies, particularly in the use of instructional technology and reflective strategies. These disparities directly impacted instructional effectiveness, evidenced by variations in student engagement, learning achievement, and instructional responsiveness. The study concludes that teacher certification alone is insufficient to ensure professional excellence unless accompanied by consistent competency application and supported through ongoing, structured post-certification professional development. Accordingly, the study advocates for a reinforcement of reflective mentoring systems and the contextualization of continuous learning frameworks to optimize pedagogical outcomes.Key Words: Professional Competence, Teacher Certification, Learning EffectivenessAbstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji implementasi kompetensi profesional guru bersertifikat pendidik dan dampaknya terhadap kualitas serta efektivitas pembelajaran di SMPN 12 Poleang Barat. Fokus kajian diarahkan pada penguasaan materi ajar, pengembangan bahan ajar yang kontekstual, pemanfaatan teknologi dalam proses pembelajaran, pelaksanaan evaluasi yang berkelanjutan, serta keterlibatan guru dalam pengembangan keprofesian melalui refleksi dan kegiatan ilmiah. Pendekatan kualitatif digunakan dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara mendalam, observasi kelas, dan studi dokumen. Hasil temuan menunjukkan bahwa meskipun guru telah memperoleh pengakuan formal melalui sertifikasi pendidik, terdapat variasi dalam implementasi kompetensi profesional di lapangan. Guru yang mampu mengintegrasikan kompetensinya secara optimal terbukti mampu menciptakan proses pembelajaran yang lebih terstruktur, adaptif, dan partisipatif, sehingga berdampak positif pada efektivitas pembelajaran, seperti peningkatan keterlibatan siswa, pencapaian tujuan pembelajaran, dan pemanfaatan strategi instruksional yang lebih kontekstual. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa efektivitas pembelajaran bukan hanya ditentukan oleh keberadaan sertifikasi semata, tetapi juga oleh sejauh mana kompetensi profesional diterapkan secara konsisten dalam praktik pembelajaran. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penguatan pembinaan pasca-sertifikasi yang berfokus pada pendampingan reflektif dan pengembangan kompetensi yang berkelanjutan.Kata Kunci: Kompetensi Profesional, Sertifikasi Guru, Efektivitas Pembelajaran.

Abstract

Zooplankton memegang peranan penting dalam rantai makanan pada ekositem perairan, yakni sebagai konsumer primer. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui interaksi makan memakan ikan pelagis kecil pada bagan tancap dengan intensitas cahaya lampu neon. Penelitian ini telah dilakukan pada bulan November 2015 sampai Mei 2016 di perairan Desa Tekkolabua Kabupaten Pangkep, Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan, dengan pengambilan sampel ikan sebanyak 840 ekor pada alat tangkap bagan tancap. Hasil pengamatan menunjukkan bahwa jenis plankton dalam usus ikan tembang yaitu Protozoea Penaeus sp 17%, Meganyctiphanes sp 17%, larva annelida 17%, Microsetella sp 16%, dan larva Polychaeta 15%.  Usus ikan selar terdapat Meganyctiphanes sp 34%, Oikopleura 33%, dan larva annelida 33%. Jenis plankton yang dominan dalam usus ikan selar kuning yaitu Meganyctiphanes sp 22%, larva annelida 20%, calanus sp 20% dan larva polychaeta 18%. Sedangkan pada usus ikan kembung terdapat Calanus sp 35%, larva annelida 34% dan Meganyctiphanes sp 31%. Disimpulkan bahwa terdapat model interaksi makan memakan pada alat tangkap bagan tancap yang menggunakan jenis lampu neon. Jumlah zooplankton yang dimakan empat spesies ikan pada bagan tancap dengan lampu Neon sekitar  1.393 individu.

Abstract

Gill net fishing gear is a passive fishing gear that usually blocks the swimming direction of fish, with the addition of bait as a lure is expected to increase the chances of fish that will be used as a target catch willing to enter the fishing gear. aims to analyze the composition of crab catches on different baits and analyze the size distribution of crabs. The expected benefits of this research are as one of the information materials for efficient crab fishermen about the use of chicken intestine waste bait and fly fish against crab catches with bottom gill net fishing gear related to the availability of fish bait stocks that are uncertain and quite expensive prices. This research was conducted in January - February 2022. From the results of the t-test analysis, the tcount value was obtained at 5.014 while the t-table was obtained at 2.042 with a significance value of 0.000. Because the t-count value is greater than the t-table and the significance value is smaller than the real level of 5% or 0.05, it is concluded that there is a difference in catches between the chicken intestine bait group and fly fish bait with an average catch using chicken intestine bait higher than using fly fish bait

Abstract

Portunus pelagicus is one type of crab that has a very high economic value. The high selling price of crab encourages an increase in fishing effort, where the pressure of increasing fishing effort can cause less catch per effort obtained. To maintain the sustainability of the availability of fisheries resources, improve community welfare, equality of cultivation technology, investment development, increase foreign exchange, and development of cultivation and crab (Portunus spp.), the Minister of Marine Affairs and Fisheries Regulation Number 12 of 2020 was issued to re-regulate the provisions for catching and/or releasing crab, therefore this study aims to determine the feasibility of catching crab (Portunus pelagicus) based on the Minister of Marine Affairs and Fisheries Regulation Number 12 of 2020. This study uses a quantitative method by measuring the frequency distribution of carapace width and crab weight which will then determine the frequency of each class by entering the width data of each crab based on the Minister of Marine Affairs and Fisheries Regulation Number 12 of 2020. The results showed that more than 90% of the crab catches followed the Minister of Marine Affairs and Fisheries Regulation Number 12 of 2020, namely carapace width size above 10 (ten) cm and weight above 60 (sixty) grams per tail. Although the catch of unfit crabs is less than 10%, it should be released back to nature to support the sustainability of crab.

Abstract

Fokus penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana pembelajaran proyek warga negara berbasis digital memengaruhi kemampuan berbahasa warga negara siswa di era kewarganegaraan digital (digital citizenship). Penelitian ini dilakukan melalui eksperimen semu yang menggunakan model pembelajaran proyek warga negara. Kelas eksperimen adalah kelas yang termasuk dalam program studi Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan. Penelitian ini melibatkan seluruh siswa semester dalam enam kelas, dengan dua sampel per kelas. Data dikumpulkan melalui metode observasi dan tes tertulis. Kemudian, data dianalisis dalam dua (dua) tahap: uji prasyarat dan uji hipotesis. Uji normalitas dan homogenitas adalah uji prasyarat, dan uji t menentukan apakah hipotesis memenuhi syarat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat dampak pada implementasi model proyek warga digital.

Abstract

This community service program aimed to enhance teacher professionalism through scientific article writing training in Mataram City. The program was motivated by the low academic writing competence among teachers, with only about 30% having prior publication experience. A total of 35 participants, consisting of 25 junior high school teachers and 10 pre-service teachers, were involved in activities that included socialization, intensive workshops, mentoring, and the use of supporting technologies such as Mendeley, Turnitin, and Google Classroom. Evaluation through pre-test and post-test demonstrated an improvement in participants’ scores from 67% to 78%, representing an 11% increase, with the highest achievement in academic ethics (85%). Furthermore, participants successfully developed article drafts, one of which was prepared for submission to a SINTA 4–accredited journal, and established a scientific writing community along with the production of a textbook Writing Educational Articles: From Ideas to Publication as additional outputs. These results indicate that practice-based training, personal mentoring, and the integration of technology are effective in improving academic literacy and teacher professionalism. The novelty of this program lies in combining academic literacy training with the creation of sustainable outputs (textbook and community), making it a replicable model for other regions with similar challenges.
