Abstract

Covid – 19 has given rise to learning options with the concept of distance education through online learning applications such as zoom, google meet, MS Teams, etc. and even the use of learning applications developed by higher education itself. This was done to avoid crowds as requested by the government referring to the WHO Health protocol. This is actually a very good boost for the world of Indonesian education. However, it creates another problem, which are quite disturbing and have the potential to damage the quality of the output of Indonesia education itself. The problem is cheating in online learning. This becomes very important, especially in the context of higher education. Why, because in higher education, students have become an adult learner so they are quite free from parental supervision at home, unlike the concept of online schools in elementary, junior high and high school. Considering the importance of this academic violation, to get a more comprehensive understanding of how and why cheating is done in the context of online lectures in universities by using variables related psychological traits that in line of phycological called as the dark triads (psychopathy, narcissism, and Machiavellianism) on student attitudes in online lectures.

Abstract

The recent upsurge in sporting events has instigated a positive shift in the habits of Generation Z, placing a strong emphasis on embracing a healthy lifestyle through sports while also prioritizing other aspects of life. This comprehensive study delves into the impact of sustainable marketing activities (SMA) on the perceived value and self-image associated with sporting events, as well as its influence on the intention of Gen Z individuals to actively participate in these events (Sports User Behavioral Intention/SUBI). Given the paramount importance of sustainability in organizing sporting events, this study aims to uncover effective strategies for marketing these events to appeal to a wider user base, both in digital and non-digital realms. Through comprehensive data collection via questionnaires and rigorous analysis using the PLS (Partial Least Squares) method, we anticipate elucidating the intricate relationship between SMA, sports event image, perceived value, and sports user intention. Additionally, we seek to explore the mediating role of perceived value and event description in this dynamic relationship. The results of this study hold the potential to revolutionize sustainable marketing for sports events and carry profound implications for event management and sustainability. By identifying limitations and opportunities for future research, this study paves the way for further advancements in this vital field.

Abstract

Entrepreneurship is a crucial aspect in Indonesia in 2024. In the post-COVID-19 era, livelihoods can no longer rely solely on employers but must also be developed from the grassroots level through collaboration to create new job opportunities. This is essential to attract the interest of Indonesia's productive generation, particularly among rural communities and, more broadly, among nearby urban areas. Pasigitan Village, located in Boja Subdistrict, Kendal Regency, is a highland area with excellent agricultural potential. In addition to its agricultural products, Pasigitan Village also has side industries in the form of home-based businesses producing palm sugar, either in solid or bulk form, which holds great potential to be marketed to sugar export suppliers. Based on this, the UNNES service team aims to assist these home-based industries in obtaining the PIRT (Household Food Industry) certification. This certification includes training to help producers comply with good manufacturing practices and meet market standards, allowing their palm sugar products to be marketed more broadly and reach more distant markets. The selected method for this community service activity is socialization and assistance. The socialization will explore the palm sugar producers in Pasigitan Village who are part of the home-based industry group and familiarize them with PIRT standards. The assistance will then provide knowledge, understanding, and skills on how to achieve the PIRT standards. The goal is to address the existing problems and create a positive impact.

Abstract

The problem faced by Islamic Boarding Schools is that waste management is not yet optimal. Most of this waste is from leftover food and other consumption by all students. The impact of this condition is the accumulation of school boarding waste, which is not utilized properly. Community Service Model with Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach through participatory training consisting of socialization, training, and implementation of organic waste management in Islamic boarding schools. Training activities will be continued with assistance until organic waste management has been running. Training materials include the basics of waste management. This service activity was carried out with lectures and maggot cultivation training involving 30 participants from Islamic boarding school students and residents. Participants were also invited directly to how to cultivate maggots. The results of the activity showed that participants had a good understanding of waste management, maggot cultivation, maggot maintenance, and maggot sales. Waste management begins with the sorting of organic and non-organic waste. Maggot cultivation begins with the purchase of maggot seeds and the provision of maggot food. Maggot sales include prisoners in the management of maggots to become products ready to be sold to consumers.

Abstract

Abstract

This community service program aims to empower the Millennial Coffee Farmers Group (GAPOKTAN) in Tlumpak Hamlet, Semarang Regency, through integrated transformation in coffee management. Tlumpak Hamlet has abundant coffee resources. However, this abundant coffee resource potential is limited by the integrated roasting process, including post-harvest, roasting, marketing, and product legality. The main challenges faced by millennial coffee farmers are limited skills in using professional roasting machines, word-of-mouth sales, and the lack of a Home Industry Food Certificate (SPP-IRT). The implemented solution encompasses three crucial aspects: (1) Production Technology: Professional training in coffee roasting to create specialty coffee with the distinctive flavor of Tlumpak Hamlet, supported by a partnership with the Coffee Factory Community (KnK). (2) Marketing: Digital branding development through the creation of social media accounts, websites, and e-commerce platforms to expand market reach and increase sales. (3) Business Management: Assistance with SPP-IRT and halal certification applications to improve product legality and competitiveness. Implementation methods include education, training, and intensive, participatory mentoring. Expected outcomes are significant improvements in roasting skills (target 80%), increased sales through digital platforms (target 80%), and obtaining official government certification. Mandatory service outputs include publications in accredited national journals, media reports, activity videos, Copyright, and Implementation Agreements. This program is expected to transform farmers into independent, competitive coffee entrepreneurs and contribute to sustainable local economic development.
