Abstract

In today's digital era, the continuous advancement of information has become meaningful in societal life. The development of investigative journalism exposes various irregularities or hidden issues covered up by state officials or authorities entrusted with the responsibility to manage and control various resources for the public's benefit. Additionally, investigative journalism is a methodological discipline, requiring opportunities to be understood and mastered. Thus, aspiring journalists need intelligence and agility to examine, research, and deconstruct journalistic knowledge to reveal hidden cases, prepared to face resistance, challenges, and threats. The purpose of this investigative journalism training for prospective journalists is to enable students to fully understand investigative reporting, which demands mental resilience and courage to disclose cases deliberately concealed. The benefit of this activity is to inspire students, as future journalists, to engage critically and insightfully with information evolving across various channels. As aspiring journalists, critical thinking is essential in addressing rumors, emerging public issues, and a skeptical stance toward information disseminated by certain parties, emphasizing the need for thorough verification. The direction and objective of this training for prospective journalists are to foster understanding and the ability to think critically in investigating and researching events or cases suspected of irregularities. This training employs lecture and discussion methods. The outcomes for aspiring journalists are to inspire, motivate, and express their investigative journalism work, serving as a medium to report events or cases suspected of anomalies to the public. Consequently, media users can better understand news or rumors constructed by aspiring journalists, which is then widely disseminated to the public.

Abstract

The study of hadith book is important and must be preserved in order to enrich the knowledge about hadith, one of them is the study of book of Al-Arba'in namely the Al-Fikriyyah Al-Khil'ah book bi Syarh Al-Minhah Al-Khairiyyah by Syaikh Mahfūdz Al-Tirmasī and the book Al-Arba'ūna Al-Buldāniyyah Arba'ūna Hadītsan 'an Arba'īna Syaikhan min Arba'īna Baladan by Syaikh Yasin Al-Fādāī. Based on the results of the study, there are differences in motivation and drafting methods of these two hadith books. The compilation of the Al-Khil'ah Al-Fikriyyah book is due to the existence of the Al-Bukhari Tsulatsiyat book which numbered 22 hadiths, so that the author was motivated to complete it into 40 hadiths which as a whole had a high sanad (isnad ‘ali). While the method of composing the book Al-Khil'ah Al-Fikriyyah was compiled with the names of books starting from Kutub Al-Sittah, Al-Muwatha 'and Tsulatsiyat al-Bukhari. The motivation for compiling the book Al-Arba'ūna Al-Buldāniyyah was that Syaikh Yasin Al-Fadānī should facilitate Muslims in response to the hadith of the Prophet Muhammad. While the method of compiling the book al-Arba'ūna al-Buldāniyyah was the traditions listed therein purely the traditions of the nabawiyyah and arranged in a juz model (part), it made it seemed simpler. The location of the equations of the two books of the hadith is the existence of syarh (explanatory) on each hadith, the number of hadiths, and the sanad that arrived at the Prophet Muhammad. In terms of scientific quality, Sheikh Mahfudz Al-Tirm and Sheikh Yasin Al-Fadani received much recognition from both Arab scholars and the archipelago as scholars who mastered various disciplines, especially Hadith.

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the swarm-based learning management model in enhancing the quality of Arabic language learning, focusing on the development of collaboration, communication, adaptation, flexibility, critical and creative thinking skills, as well as the integration of digital technology in the Arabic learning process. The research employs a library research method using a literature review approach to analyze data and information related to swarm-based learning management in enhancing Arabic learning quality. The findings indicate that swarm-based learning management is implemented through the following stages: The first stage involves determining the components of swarm-based learning management, which include setting learning objectives, grouping students, organizing the learning environment, utilizing digital technology, scheduling, and evaluation. The second stage involves defining the steps of swarm-based learning management, including initiation, grouping, task organization, supervision, and evaluation. The third stage involves establishing strategies for swarm-based learning management, including project-based learning strategies, research-based learning strategies, and case-based learning strategies. The results of this study are expected to provide new insights for educators and educational practitioners in the field of Arabic language education to develop more relevant and effective learning strategies in the current era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0.

Abstract

This study critically examines the psychometric properties of measurement instruments for key constructs in digital Islamic communication research, focusing on micro-dai phenomena. The analysis reveals fundamental methodological flaws, with Cronbach’s α (-0.072 to 0.090) and validity metrics (0.108–0.127) failing to meet acceptable thresholds. Discriminant validity assessment through Fornell-Larcker criterion demonstrated systematic measurement invalidity, while anomalous negative correlations between authenticity and donation behavior (-0.305) challenge theoretical assumptions. The findings necessitate reconceptualization of digital religious authority, authenticity, and audience engagement constructs, emphasizing context-sensitive instrumentation. This research provides crucial methodological insights for future studies in digital religion, highlighting the imperative for interdisciplinary approaches integrating communication theory, psychometrics, and digital culture studies to advance the field’s methodological rigor.

Abstract

This study examines the essence of world life through Tasawuf Irfani, which emphasizes intellectual understanding of divine knowledge and soul purification. It explores how these teachings shape Indonesian Muslims' perspectives on materialism, wealth, and life's true purpose. The study emphasizes the increasing focus on how Tasawuf Irfani tackles materialism, consumerism, and spiritual fulfillment, while existing literature mainly explores its philosophical aspects, neglecting its practical implementation in Indonesian society. This qualitative study uses literature review and textual analysis to explore Tasawuf Irfani’s teachings, Islamic views on worldly life, and their impact on socio-economic behaviors, focusing on the balance between material success and spiritual growth in Indonesia. The results reveal that Tasawuf Irfani provides a profound critique of materialism and consumerism, encouraging Indonesian Muslims to view wealth and worldly success as tools for spiritual growth rather than ultimate goals. It also fosters qualities such as humility, moderation and social responsibility. On the other hand, the study points out challenges like the risk of overly disengaging from material pursuits, which may result in limited involvement with pressing social issues in a pragmatic sense. Tasawuf Irfani concludes with a spiritually based perspective concerning wealth and success, suggesting potential integration within education and community initiatives to alleviate socio-economic issues in Indonesia, which can be the focus of future research.
