Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of the role-playing model on the conceptual understanding and communication skills of students in Social Studies learning at elementary school. The role-playing model was chosen as a teaching strategy believed to enhance student engagement, learning motivation, and conceptual understanding through a more interactive and contextual approach. The research method used is quantitative with a quasi-experimental design. The subjects of this research were fifth-grade students at SDN 2 Tanjungsamak and SDN 1 Tanjungsamak. Data collection was carried out through tests of conceptual understanding and communication skills. The results of the study showed that the use of the role-playing model significantly improved students' conceptual understanding and communication skills in Social Studies learning. Students involved in the role-playing model demonstrated better understanding of the taught material and were able to communicate their ideas more effectively. This research makes a significant contribution to the field of education, particularly in developing effective teaching methods in elementary schools. Therefore, it is hoped that teachers can implement the role-playing model as an alternative teaching strategy to enhance the quality of Social Studies learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to gain an understanding of the differences between the learning achievement of groups that received KIP-K and those who did not and to identify the effect of interest in learning, achievement motivation, intelligence, family, and environment on student achievement. This study is a comparative study using quantitative methods involving 286 students as a population and 166 students as a sample from the FKIP UNS Economics Education study program. The purposive sampling method was used to select the sample. A Likert scale questionnaire was used as a data collection tool, and chi-square analysis was used to analyze the data. The research findings show that there is a significant difference in learning achievement between KIP-K recipients and regular groups with Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.000 < 0.05. Learning interest has a significant effect on regular group learning achievement with Asymptote scores. Sig (2-sided) of 0.022 < 0.05. Meanwhile, achievement motivation had a significant effect on the learning achievement of the KIP-K recipient group with an Asymptote value. Sig (2-sided) of 0.019 < 0.05. Meanwhile, intelligence, family, and environmental factors did not significantly affect the learning achievement of the KIP-K and regular recipient groups, as seen from the Asymp scores. Sig (2-sided) > 0.05.

Abstract

Promosi keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja (K3) merupakan langkah krusial dalam menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang aman dan produktif. Salah satu inisiatif penting dalam promosi K3 adalah pemasangan rambu-rambu K3 dan alat pemadam api di area kerja. Rambu-rambu K3 berfungsi sebagai alat komunikasi visual yang efektif dalam memberikan peringatan dan informasi mengenai potensi bahaya serta prosedur keselamatan yang harus diikuti. Sementara itu, alat pemadam api menyediakan sarana penanggulangan awal terhadap kebakaran, yang sangat penting untuk mengurangi risiko dan dampak kebakaran di tempat kerja. Dengan pemasangan rambu K3, karyawan dapat lebih mudah mengenali dan memahami risiko yang ada di lingkungan kerja, serta langkah-langkah pencegahan yang diperlukan. Alat pemadam api, di sisi lain, memberikan kepercayaan bahwa ada mekanisme pertahanan pertama yang dapat digunakan dalam situasi darurat kebakaran. Kombinasi kedua upaya ini tidak hanya membantu dalam mematuhi standar keselamatan yang ditetapkan, tetapi juga meningkatkan kesadaran dan kesiapsiagaan karyawan terhadap potensi bahaya. Dengan demikian, pemasangan rambu K3 dan alat pemadam api secara signifikan berkontribusi pada pengurangan insiden kecelakaan dan kebakaran, serta memperkuat budaya keselamatan dan kesehatan di tempat kerja.

Abstract

In this article, we examine the application of Aceh Qanun No. 6/2014 on the law of jinayat against acts of khalwat committed by non-Muslims. The aim of the research is to analyse the legal provisions for non-Muslims who commit acts of khalwat based on the provisions of the Qanun Jinayat. This type of research is normative jurisprudence. It uses a deductive approach. The sources of data chosen will be both primary and secondary data. The primary source of data is the Aceh Qanun No. 6/2014 on the Jinayat Law. Meanwhile, the secondary sources of data consist of various books, articles, magazines, and various pieces of information related to the Khalwat movement in Aceh. The result of this research is that non-Muslims who engage in khulwat, whether with Muslims or not, are subject to the applicable provisions of Qanun Aceh No. 6/2014 and do not need to be given the freedom to choose whether to be tried under the Qanun Jinayat or the national law (KUHP). Khalwat crimes are not specifically regulated by the national law (KUHP). The punishment for non-Muslims who commit khalwat is uqubat ta'zir caning up to 10 times or paying a fine of up to 100 grams of pure gold or imprisonment for up to 10 months. With the application of Islamic law to non-Muslims who violate the laws of jarimah, the provisions of which are not regulated in the National Law (KUHP), the Aceh Qanun will continue to cause controversy both nationally and internationally.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh strategi pemasaran digital terhadap keputusan pembelian konsumen di platform e-commerce Lazada. Seiring dengan perkembangan era digital, pemasaran digital menjadi salah satu alat penting untuk menarik konsumen dan mempengaruhi perilaku pembelian mereka. Strategi pemasaran digital yang meliputi kemudahan akses, diskon, dan kualitas produk dianggap memiliki peran yang signifikan dalam pengambilan keputusan pembelian secara online. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemudahan akses dan diskon memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian konsumen di Lazada. Sebaliknya, kualitas produk juga terbukti memiliki dampak yang besar terhadap keputusan pembelian. Temuan ini memberikan wawasan bagi para pelaku bisnis untuk lebih memaksimalkan strategi pemasaran digital mereka guna meningkatkan keputusan pembelian konsumen di platform e-commerce.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan minat belajar siswa terhadap penerapan metode pembelajaran interaktif dalam proses pembelajaran. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa-siswi SD Negeri Siebla Barat Kota Surakarta kelas IV. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian yaitu lembar observasi, tes dan angket yang ketiganya dianalisis dengan statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) persentase ketuntasan individual secara keseluruhan meningkat dari siklus I sampai siklus III yaitu 65%, 71%, dan 84%, dan persentase ketuntasan klasikal secara keseluruhan juga meningkat yaitu 49%, 69%, dan 88%. (2) adanya peningkatan aktivitas guru dan siswa selama proses pembelajaran. (3) terjadi peningkatan keterampilan guru dalam mengelola pembelajaran dari ketegori cukup baik menjadi baik. (4) respon siswa cenderung positif dimana 100% siswa menyatakan senang terhadap pembelajaran dengan menggunakan pembelajaran inetraktif dengan berbantuan aplikasi unity. Dari penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan metode interaktif dengan berbantuan aplikasi unity pada materi wujud zat dan perubahannya dapat meningkatkan minat belajar IPAS siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Sibela Barat Kota Surakarta.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the ability to write naration discourse by using media picture in fifth grade students at SDN Dukuh Menanggal I/424 Surabaya. The research design uses a quantitative approach and the type of research is descriptive statistics. The results of the study in general showed that the ability to write naration discourse by using media picture in fifth grade students at SDN Dukuh Menanggal I/424 Surabaya, namely 14 students (50%) were very capable, 7 students (25%) were able, and 7 students (25%) quite capable. As for specifically the abilities of students in (1) detailing and sorting events chronologically, namely (a) on the indicator detailing events 15 students (54%) were able, 13 students (46%) were quite capable; (b) the indicators order events chronologically, namely 20 students (71%) are capable, 8 students (29%) are quite capable; (2) using language, namely (a) on the indicator of the use of letters only 1 student (3.5%) is capable, 1 student (3.5%) is quite capable, 26 students (93%) are not able; (b) on the word choice indicator, 16 students (57.1%) were able, 11 students (39.3%) were quite capable, 1 student (3.6%) was not able; (c) on the indicator of using sentences, 17 students (61%) were able, 10 students (36%) were quite capable, 1 student (3%) was not able.

Abstract

Literature teaching has a very important role in providing knowledge about life and fostering emotional sensitivity in students. Therefore, to create literature teaching that is in line with its objectives, Indonesian language teachers are needed who have adequate competence in appreciating literary works. This can be done through the presentation of literary learning in lecture rooms. However, in reality there are problems faced by students in appreciating poetry. For this reason, further efforts are needed to overcome this problem by applying demonstration methods. This research focuses on efforts to increase students' ability to appreciate poetry through demonstration methods. The research method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative method with an experimental approach. The subjects of this research were 24 class A students of the Indonesian Language Education study program class A. The result of the research carried out is the implementation of the demonstration method as an effort to increase student competence in appreciating poetry that works well, as well as achieving learning objectives. Because there was an increase in the average score obtained by students from 2.75 to 4.26 which is included in the good category.

Abstract

This study aims to describe spelling errors at the level of using letters, writing words, and using punctuation marks in the theses of Elementary School Teacher Education students at PGRI Adi Buana University Surabaya class of 2019. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a text analysis method based on the Indonesian Spelling Improved edition V guidelines. The data in this study are words, sentences, and paragraphs that have errors in writing letters, writing words, and writing punctuation in 50 student theses. The most common error is letter writing errors. The amount of data on lettering errors is 672 data, word writing errors are 226 data, and punctuation errors amount to 242 data. The main factors causing these spelling errors include students' lack of understanding of spelling rules, lack of habit of using formal language, and lack of focus of the writer when working on the thesis. Based on these findings, it is recommended that universities provide intensive training related to academic writing of good and correct scientific writing. Students also need to get used to referring to official guidelines (such as EYD edition V) when writing scientific papers, assignments, and reports, so that the work is more professional. Utilize digital tools (such as the halo language application, EYD V, the official website of EYD kemedikbud, etc.) to make it easier to check on good spelling.

Abstract

Background: Adolescents is a vulnerable age group susceptible to mental health issues, particularly psychological distress, which includes symptoms of depression and anxiety. While physical activity is known to benefit mental health, its direct relationship with psychological distress in adolescents has shown inconsistent findings. Purpose: To analyze the relationship between physical activity levels and psychological distress in adolescents. Method: A cross-sectional design, involving 386 students from three high schools in East Kalimantan. Data were collected using questionnaires, adopting the Kessler Psychological distress Scale (K10) and the Global Physical Activity Questionnaire (GPAQ). Results: The majority of respondents (88.6%) were categorized as having high physical activity. Analysis revealed no significant association between physical activity levels and psychological distress (p = 0.802; OR = 1.141; 95% CI: 0.609–2.140). However, these results indicated a non-significant trend towards an increased risk of distress in the low physical activity group. Conclusion: No significant association was found between physical activity levels and psychological distress in adolescents. Nevertheless, a notable proportion of adolescents with low physical activity remains, warranting attention. Interventions to promote physical activity are still important. Pendahuluan: Remaja merupakan kelompok usia yang rentan terhadap gangguan kesehatan mental, terutama psychological distress, yang mencakup gejala depresi dan kecemasan. Aktivitas fisik diketahui memberikan manfaat terhadap kesehatan mental, namun hubungan langsungnya dengan psychological distress pada remaja masih belum konsisten. Tujuan: Untuk menganalisis hubungan antara tingkat aktivitas fisik dengan psychological distress pada remaja. Metode: Desain cross-sectional dengan melibatkan 386 siswa dari tiga SMA di Kalimantan Timur. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang mengadopsi Kessler Psychological distress Scale (K10) dan Global Physical Activity Questionnaire (GPAQ). Hasil: Sebagian besar responden (88.6%) tergolong memiliki aktivitas fisik tinggi. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara tingkat aktivitas fisik dengan psychological distress (p = 0.802; OR = 1.141; CI 95%: 0.609–2.140). Namun, hasil ini menunjukkan adanya kecenderungan peningkatan risiko distress pada kelompok dengan aktivitas rendah, meskipun tidak signifikan secara statistik. Simpulan:Tidak ditemukan hubungan yang signifikan antara tingkat aktivitas fisik dan psychological distress pada remaja. Meskipun demikian, masih terdapat proporsi remaja dengan aktivitas fisik rendah yang perlu menjadi perhatian. Intervensi peningkatan aktivitas fisik tetap penting untuk menunjang kesehatan mental remaja secara umum. Kata Kunci: Aktivitas Fisik; Psychological Distress; Remaja.
