Abstract

PT XYZ is a fertilizer production company. Its payroll is managed by the remuneration team, divided into organic and non-organic employees. The role demands precision and timely delivery, leading to high workload-induced stress and reduced productivity. Physical and mental demands, time pressure, performance, effort, and frustration are only few of the variables taken into account in this research using the NASA-TLX approach to evaluate the mental strain of the pay staff. A burden Weighted Load (WWL) score of 76.93 indicates a heavy mental burden was found throughout the examination. The WWL for organic employees surpasses non-organics, with values of 81.3, 94.67, 70.67, 93.3, 94, and 85.3, compared to non-organic employees with scores of 67.3, 74.67, 56, 74.67, 63.3, and 68, respectively. Therefore, it's crucial to propose improvements that normalize the workload, aiming to enhance both well-being and productivity.

Abstract

Abstract—The company has a problem in warehouse layout arrangement so it will cause some kind of waste in the warehouse such as long searching time when searching spare parts in warehouse, transportation time when bringing material to warehouse or from warehouse to outside warehouse and transportation time at time of arrangement of material to storage shelf. Besides the problem that is noticed is the handling of discontinue material and the completeness of safety for warehouse operators. The purpose of this study can know the whole activity and the kinds of waste that occurred, so that can be done to the improvement of activity in the storage. The method used in measurement using fishbone diagram, and use Tools 5S + Safety. Based on the calculation that utility use of warehouse space owned raw material PT. Nichirin Indonesia is close to 70%. Layout raw material for now 77% of raw material is already used for material storage. After the layout improvements, the utility of raw material usage is reduced to 37.11%. various wastes that occur among others, Waiting time on goods delivery activities from suppliers, Transportation time on activities to bring goods from outside to the receiving area, Waiting time because the material must wait arranged by the admin / operator who works, Transportation time at the time of setting goods to shelf and Searching time on activities to find material for production needs. Abstract

Rute pendistribusian produk dari Distributor perusahaan PT. Immortal Cosmedika Indonesia Sub. Garut ke para customer selama ini kurang optimal, karena dalam pengiriman produk selama ini hanya menggunakan perkiraan driver mana saja yang akan dilalui dalam satu kali pengiriman hanya dengan melihat jumlah permintaan tanpa mempertimbangkan kapasitas, rute pengiriman dan jarak tempuh dari gudang ke lokasi customer dan metode nearest neighbor yang digunakan untuk menentukan rute pengalokasian distribusi serta melakukan perhitungan biaya transportasi yang melibatkan fixed cost dan variable cost. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan rute pengiriman yang efektif menggunakan metode Saving Matrix dan Nearest Neighbor kemudian untuk mengetahui penghematan jarak serta penghematan biaya transportasi. Perbandingan rute distribusi produk di PT. Immortal Cosmedika Indonesia Sub. Garut yang pada awalnya perusahaan melakukan pengiriman dengan total jarak tempuh 461,6 km/ Bulan. Setelah diberlakukan metode saving matrix total jarak pengiriman perusahaan mengalami penurunan yang signifikan yaitu menjadi 399,1 km/Bulan dan untuk biaya transportasi rute pada awalnya yaitu sebesar Rp. 1.461.600.-, sedangkan pada biaya transportasi usulan yaitu menjadi Rp. 1.398.900.-. Dengan demikian didapatkan pengehematan biaya transportasi dengan selisih sebesar Rp. 62.500.-. Maka metode Saving Matrix dan Nearest Neigbor terbukti dapat menentukan jarak, rute dan biaya menjadi lebih minimum dari sebelumnya.

Abstract

Meningkatnya biaya logistik menjadi kendala bagi para pelaku usaha, terutama pada pelaku usaha dibidang bahan pokok seperti daging dan produk produk yang memerlukan kesegaran yang terjaga untuk produknya. Dalam konteks logistik, masalah ini menjadi tantangan bagi para pelaku usaha untuk merancang sistem distribusi yang tepat. Salah satu usaha yang dilakukan para pelaku usaha ialah menentukan rute pengiriman yang efisien untuk meningkatkan pelayanan kepada customer. Selain dari itu para pelaku usaha juga mempertimbangkan biaya bahan bakar yang dikonsumsi untuk setiap kali mendistribusikan produknya. Pada penelitian kali ini, pengembangan model matematis akan diperkenalkan untuk menangani masalah distribusi produk terutama produk yang memerlukan kontainer pendingin sebagai salah satu kendaraan yang menjadi alat tranportasi untuk produk tersebut. Lebih lanjut lagi beberapa contoh data numerik digunakan untuk menunjang pengujian model kali ini. Solusi optimal pun diperoleh dan menunjukkan bahwa besar total biaya transportasi berbanding lurus dengan total jarak yang ditempuh. Selain dari itu biaya bahan bakar kendaraan dan biaya energi untuk kontainer pendingin menjadi salah satu faktor tingginya biaya distribusi yang dimana faktor tersebut bisa menjadi acuan bagi para pelaku usaha untuk mengambil keputusan.

Abstract

Global Teknik adalah suatu wirausaha perorangan yang bergerak pada bidang perakitan panel elektronik. Usaha yang berfokus pada perakitan dari komponen-komponen yang telah dipesan dari berbagai sumber yang akhirnya disatukan hingga menjadi produk sendiri dari usaha ini. Dalam melakukan pekerjaan, sulit untuk menghindari pengenaan beban berat di bagian belakang. Untuk menganalisa postur kerja, dapat menggunakan metode Rapid Upper Limb Assesment (RULA). Sehingga dapat mnegetahui postur kerja yang dijalani berdampak tidaknya pada kelelahan yang berujung kepada hasil kerja. Hasil penelitian menggunakan metode Rula menunjukkan bahwa dari Responden yang merupakan Operator Global Teknik, semua operator berada pada level resiko “Sedang” dengan nilai skor akhir diperoleh 3-4. Dilihat dari hasil pengamatan dilapangan dan penilaian RULA peneliti memberikan rekomendasi posisi duduk yang baik berdasarkan analisis RULA menggunakan Sofrware Catia V5R21.

Abstract

PT.SMT is a company engaged in processing and assembling products from sheet metal materials, in the production process some processes are still conventional. According to the initial assessment, welding and grinding stations are two workstations where operators often experience injuries. The study's objective was to assess the operator's working position in order to gauge the severity of a work injury. The technique is called RULA (Rapid Upper Limb Assessment). Four operators are at a high risk, as shown by the NBM (Nordic Body Map) computations. These operators work in the welding process, which receives scores of 73 and 69, and the grinding process, which receives scores of 60 and 64.. The score of 6 is obtained from the RULA score for the operator's welding process in the welding department, indicatingng that more research needs to be done and change needs to happen quickly. This shows that to reduce operator work accidents, the production process must be improved.

Abstract

One of the developments in information technology in today's digital era is the design of information systems. According to this research, using WhatsApp Blasting can improve the performance of the recruitment system. The purpose of this research is to improve the manual method for recruitment. This research is based on design, which is followed by the need for a more automated recruitment process. Surveys and interviews were the data collection methods used to understand the problems faced in the conventional recruitment process. By using WhatsApp Blasting, prospective candidates can receive mass messages that help them communicate better and speed up the selection process. The results showed a decrease in time and cost as well as an increase in responsiveness and efficiency. This study supports the transformation of recruitment systems towards more automated and efficient methods. In addition, the platform provides convenience for both companies and candidates.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi, kenyamanan, dan keselamatan kerja pada proses produksi opak ketan di UMKM Opak Ketan Cibuaya yang berlokasi di Desa Pejaten, Kecamatan Cibuaya, Kabupaten Karawang. Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi mitra meliputi rendahnya efisiensi produksi, postur kerja yang tidak ergonomis, serta belum adanya standar operasional yang memadai, sehingga berdampak pada keluhan muskuloskeletal, ketidakkonsistenan ukuran produk, dan penurunan produktivitas. Metode pelaksanaan PkM menggunakan pendekatan partisipatif dan kolaboratif dengan melibatkan mitra secara aktif sejak tahap identifikasi masalah, perancangan solusi, implementasi, hingga evaluasi. Intervensi yang dilakukan meliputi perancangan dan penerapan meja kerja ergonomis, penyediaan alat bantu poka-yoke berupa cetakan opak untuk menyeragamkan ukuran produk, serta sosialisasi dan pendampingan terkait efisiensi dan keselamatan kerja. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kenyamanan kerja, penghematan waktu proses produksi, serta meningkatnya keseragaman ukuran opak yang dihasilkan. Selain itu, evaluasi pascapelaksanaan mengindikasikan peningkatan produktivitas, penurunan variasi produk, dan meningkatnya kesadaran pekerja terhadap pentingnya keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja. Secara keseluruhan, kegiatan PkM ini memberikan dampak positif bagi masyarakat sasaran dengan menunjukkan bahwa penerapan prinsip ergonomi dan poka-yoke yang sederhana, aplikatif, dan berbiaya rendah dapat menjadi solusi efektif dan berkelanjutan dalam meningkatkan kinerja produksi sekaligus kesejahteraan pekerja UMKM.

Abstract

  PT BCD is a company engaged in the manufacturing sector, specifically in the manufacture of packaging made from cardboard. In the production process, there is cardboard cutting using a cutting machine to cut cardboard with predetermined quality standards such as producing products that are not defective or Not Good (NG) products. The presence of NG products in January. With this problem, it is necessary to identify the slitter machine by applying the FMEA method to identify the problems that occur. The purpose of the study is to carry out quality control to reduce the occurrence of NG products produced by the slitter machine. In January, it was found that there were 528 NG products. Researchers used Failure Mode and Effects Analysis to find the root cause of the problem. The variables contained in the RPN are Severity, Occurrence, Detection. Judging from the Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) method approach, the cause of the occurrence of Not Good (NG) products is the result of untidy cutting according to the highest RPN value with a value of 224, namely a blunt knife. Abstract

The paper packaging process plays an important role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of product distribution, but is often not supported by optimal labor allocation. Inefficient labor allocation at PT XCX leads to resource wastage, thereby requiring objective measurements to establish the ideal number of workers. This study aims to analyze work elements, calculate standard time, and determine the number of labor requirements in the B5 size paper packaging process at PT XCX. The research method used is Time Motion Study to measure the duration of each work element and Work Load Analysis based on actual production data of 174,356 reams/month and available working time of 630,000 seconds/month. The results show that the average standard time to complete one packaging cycle is 44.56 seconds, and the ideal number of workers is 12 people. The scientific findings show that the excess of two workers from the actual number (14 people) does not have an impact on increasing productivity, but rather becomes a potential waste. This research contributes to the optimization of human resources based on actual data and suggests the application of similar methods in other production lines with additional ergonomic variables as further development.
